Time is running out! 62 stories….1377 stairs…858 feet up…. If you want to join me on the 26th for the big AON building stair climb benefiting the American Lung Association. The event is "Climb California Greater L.A.". It is southern California's inaugural stair climb event benefiting the American Lung Association of California. The Lung Association wants to promote exercise, clean air and clean living through this great event. I'll be there leading the charge up the stairs! There will be some serious competitors participating. I was told the winners will be complete the climb in about 7 minutes! I am an active guy who likes to runs, but I have been hitting the stair master at the gym lately to make sure I am ready for the challenge. I am hoping to complete the trek up in less than 15 minutes. I'll let you know how the event goes. OR..you can come down and participate. It is NOT too late to register.

I'll bet they use speed??? Hey Rick, why don't you get a box of those sugar coated donuts then lob down several French Vanilla Custom coffee all from Mama's donuts and finally charge up the stairs with GUSTO man? Only Mama's donuts can help you alleviate the weight of being a full donut traitor and overcome the stairs. No donuts, no glory!

I wish I would have read about this earlier, I didn't hear any on-air mention of it. So how did it do Rick? Did you meet your 15 min goal? Any pictures of the event?

hey rick...you stud! 13th huh? wow most impressive. How are your lungs today? Mine are a little jacked, I had a hard time running this morning but i was home in time to see myself on t.v.! Im glad i got to meet you and it was a great day. I finished in 20mins 2 seconds. A little longer than i thought i'd do but then again it was way harder than i thought it would be. i have some pics, i'll try to put them on my profile so you can check em out. love to cut your hair, is it ok to put my number on here? Let me know...Leann

Hey Rick all I can say man, is you didn't have those Mama's donuts and the extra energy to do better. But not bad for a donut traitor anyhow!!! Better luck next time.

Yes..pictures coming..
and I did meet my goal!
I made the climb in 12 minutes and 32 seconds..
I placed 13th out of 200+ climbers..
It was a great time!
You have to do it next year!

Hey Mark..I know..I know..I was thinking the same thing..should have powered down a few donuts before the climb..Next year for sure..maybe Mama's can sponsor the event :)..
