I'm torn between seeing the New England Patriots finish with the best NFL record of all time (19-0) and quarterback Tom Brady claiming  the crown as the games greatest quarterback or watching one of sports greatest competitors Brett Favre take the Super Bowl title.
I was one of those who felt Favre's time had come and gone. I too thought he was being selfish when he came back for a 17th season. But after what he has done this season in leading the Green Bay Packers to the NFC Championship game I couldn't have been more wrong!  As for the Patriots and Brady...we could be watching the best team and quarterback in NFL history.

So...what shall it be?
Perfection or a sentimental Super Bowl?

if the PATRIOTS do make it to the super bowl as they should and should the PACKERS make it as well look for nothing short of a total NEW ENGLAND blowout if you remember in the beginning of the season when BRETT FARVE wanted to quit or be traded because the PACKERS snubbed the thought of getting RANDY MOSS..now they are gonna know why look for BRADY to MOSS to light up the scoreboard like a Christmas tree in Santa's house..NEW ENGLAND is a vindictive team just ask the STEELERS..they forget nothing and forgive even less..

I actually disagree with craftyguy - I think the Packers would give the Patriots quite a game in the Superbowl... and I am a Patriots fan!

The Packers are actually built very similarly to the Patriots. They have a HOF QB and an explosive passing game that is tough to cover since their receiving corps is so deep and they have strong tight ends. The running game really came on strong in the latter half of the season (like the Pats) and they can move the ball on anyone. I would even go as far to say that their Defense may be a tad BETTER than the Pats, but they are similar as well.

Favre may have complained about not getting Moss in the summer, but who wouldn't? Every team probably complained after they saw how little the Pats had to give up to get Moss. Plus, the Packers didn't know what they were going to have yet in the summer. When Favre complained about getting Moss, it was pre-season, before the emergence of Greg Jennings as a stud, along with Donald Lee for the Packers and Donald Driver getting healthy again.

I'm worried because as a Pats fan, the entire world outside of New England will be rooting for Brett Favre and the Packers, should they face the Pats in the Superbowl. But I would still rather see that matchup, as I think it would be a great game.

jpapagan..I'm not saying Brett Favre and the Packers are not gonna score of course they will..but the Pats are a machine and the Pack are a young club that can be exploited i think New England can put up anywhere between 50-60 pts just to put a final exclamation point on this the perfect season..as a Pats fan or Sox fan Celtic fan or even Bruin fan you know what Boston sports is all about living in the shadow of New York when they do it they do it big..
