Trapped in an east coast body...

I think I am an East coast sports fan trapped in a West coast body. It's not that I like east coast teams it's just that I think I am closer in personality with east coasters. I grew up adoring the L.A. teams. My favorite players began with Roman Gabriel (L.A. Rams), Wilt Chamberlain (L.A. Lakers), Rogie Vachon (L.A. Kings) and any Los Angeles Dodger.
I would cheer on my Rams against a buddy's Dallas Cowboys only to find out the following season that same buddy would be rooting on the Minnesota Vikings. It's true that West Coast fans are as fair as the weather. Not me! And to this day I'll bust a buddy for changing teams more than his underwear!
That's why as obnoxious as those New York and Boston fans will be for the next two weeks leading up to Super Bowl 42 (on FOX 11 3pm), I will let them have their day. Because those fans in the east are REAL fans. I love their trash talking. I love their passion and most of all I love and admire their loyalty. They have earned the right to curse and cry and rub it in when they win. They are fans through the good times and fans through the bad. So whether it's the New England Patriots winning their 4th Super Bowl...or the New York Giants grabbing their 3rd...I say...Go East Coast!

If only fans in L.A. were as passionate we might have an NFL team of our own!

At least we have some baseball, basketball and hockey teams in town. I will always remember Georgia Frontieri as a brainwashed traitor when she took the Rams to St. Louis, on the advice of some whacked out psychic! And I NEVER was a fan of the CHOKELAND Raiders! I don't miss them for a second! They can go and eat acorns for all I care! Los Angeles and Orange Counties have some great baseball and hockey teams, and 2 Los Angeles basketball teams...Go Clippers! Go ANAHEIM ANGELS & ANAHEIM DUCKS!
Go Dodgers (so the Angels can give you guys a whoopin in the Freeway World Series)!

growing up on the east coast sports teams become a passion they are almost like your family once you pick a team to root for its your for life you live and die with that team ..they are not fair weather fans either you would never see a jet fan rooting for the giants unlike here in los angeles where their is no sports loyalty and that's why we don't have a football team..Georgia Frontiere put it best when the rams were going to the super bowl and a reporter asked what can you tell the people in L.A. she said they can sit home and watch it like they did when we played there..I'm no fan of Georgia as i am too a avid RAM fan have been since 1967 but she was right unless your winning nobody goes ..

YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT EAST COAST FANS AND PEOPLE. THEIR MORE GRITTY AND PASSIONATE AND REAL THEN WHAT WE HAVE HERE. MAYBE THE FAKE BOOBS GETS TO EVERYONES HEAD HERE. WOMEN AND MEN INCLUDED.

people in the east coast are more passionate.but they could be rude and obession.here in los angeles we have a lot of bangwagnor.i been a dodgers fan since garvey,cey,lopes,and russell were playing.

good for you so i suppose you arrive in the 3rd and leave in the 7th..to beat the traffic somewhere in late august or early September your sporting that angel cap?after all they are the California los Angles angels of Anaheim..whats up with that??the angels ,chargers,kings are the only real L.A. teams .they are in San Diego and Anaheim..what ya think if the Angels lose they will be the Anaheim angels again..L.A. as a sports town is a joke ..maybe a soccer town ..oh yeah that didn't work out either .besides its a sissy sport.their are no roots in L.A. no tradition no passion. no heart...when it comes to sports ..its betting on will Britney Spears show up for court...........................HOWS THAT FOR RUDE?

Noooo I want to be able to see the SEC games. Like it is hard to catch UCLA and USC here, I am hoping to get the Auburn games.

Can you use the Satellites to get East Coast games.

Didnt understand BTO and Bady bodies... What is that all about.. I am missing something.

the SEC is on CBS ..NBC is Notre Dame good for laughs and ABC is PAC 10..and if you get direct TV you can order the football package to get your games you want to see..the only thing you cant get is a home town professional football game ..and you also have ESPN da da da ..da da da
