I dont know about the rest of you but my hubby goes through cell phones like cornflakes. We dont even have a landline.. so when he drops it, leaves in on the fence post in the rain for 3 days, or just plain loses it. We used to be stuck with purchasing a new one A LOT.. But we have discovered that a lot of people go through cell phones like cornflakes for a different reason.. they want the newest.. brightest.. most up-to-date phone that there is.. so, they quickly go out and buy it and still have their own phone.

Garage Sales have been my saving grace on this. You just have to make sure it is a cell phone from the same service you are using.. believe me, they are all available out there.. Still working perfectly and ready to use.

For about  $5-$10 you can get a perfectly operating phone, if you just dont require all the bells and whistles. Oh, and those are still out there for only slightly more,. not to mention the recharge cords are always included. and if you are lucky the instruction manual and box...

This is definately better than even the cheapest.. we found to be about $40.00  that you can get from your service brand new.. Now the hubby that goes through cell phones like cornflakes.. we buy them for about the price of cornflakes.
