Remember Richard Hatch, the first winner of "Survivor" Well he is appealing his sentencing of 4 years for tax evasion all the way to the Supreme Court

For those of you that werent aware, he was sentenced to 4 years after he failed to pay taxes on the 1 million he won on the show.

His defense was that he caught the producuers cheating somehow on the show and they told him if he kept his mouth shut they would pay his taxes.

They say he is full of crap.

His reason he deserves an appeal. The judge that was overseeing his trial prevented Richard from testifying about the conversation.

Attorney says the same judge didnt allow him to ask the questions he wanted to of the tax accountant who prepared Richard's tax return.

And Guess What? He is writing a book about the legal system.. Well, this ought to be good.

Geez Richard.. this is ALL your own fault. Everyone knows that if someone says they are going to pay your taxes... you better make sure they did.
