Al-Arabiya TV says he is hiding in the K2 Mountains of Northern Pakistan. My neighbor says he’s hiding out in a bunker on life support inside Iron Mountain.

But top Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud says that Bin Laden is dead…

Question: Does it even matter anymore? How important is it to you to know whether he is dead or alive?

 

A top Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud has rejected reports that al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, and other leaders are hiding in his region.

“The al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden is dead, and the Afghan Taliban leader, Mullah Omar, are not in our territory,” he said in an interview broadcast by a satellite television network.

Funeral prayers have been said for Osama bin Laden over the years with one reported by a Pakistani news organisation, and another in an Egyptian newspaper as far back as December 2001.

This report quoted an official of the Taliban saying that he had suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death.

IF bin-Ladin is dead then he's DEAD..It CHANGES nothing..It NEVER would have changed ANYTHING no matter when it happened..

There would STILL be Terrorists and there would STILL be WAR..

If he's NOT dead then they're LYING and THAT probably means we're getting too close..

I would consider it bad news as Osama slipped the noose. A documented capture,trial and hanging would have struck a nerve. Even if he's dead, there is always someone else stepping up to fill his shoes.

A PUBLIC trial and execution as a CRIMIINAL,, particularly at the hands of OTHER muslims,, would go FAR to deter Future recruits to the cause whereas his mystery death would provide fodder for those seeking to embellish him with a Devine Martyr ststus..

The manner OF his Death is FAR more inportant then the Death itself..

Well, I think dying in a cold dark cave was a better punishment than he would have received if we had captured him alive.

He would have been de-loused, all medical problems would have been treated, and he would have lived to make more outrageous statements that would have been broadcast worldwide, because of our free open society, but more so because of our free America hating media.

He died the way he deserved to die. A place much harsher than any US prison.

though im pretty sure ubl drinks a cup of starbucks at the edge of the bay in san fran ... lol

i hope he is dead and that his followers have disbanded and are now drinking a cup of staru....you know the routine.

where ever ubl is i we know al qaeda is in many countries backing up local terrorists and giving recruitment lessons in places like yeman, somila, northern africa, spain, gaza strip, philippines, and ....oh you know their routine.
