A company will give you free gas if you put ads on your car.

They start with small magnetic door ads, which gets you a $30 gas card each month.

Upgrade to a full wrap and it could get you $200 a month.

Would you consider this? I'm not too proud of my old station wagon, and I'm not sure who would want to advertise on it, but I thought about doing this if it can save a few bucks.

Would you want an ad on your car as you drive around town?

With Powerball coming to town, will you play both the Powerball and Lotto?

I admit, I'll buy a Lotto ticket when the jackpots get up there, and I did play Powerball when I lived in states with it.

When you do the math, the odds are about 1 in 23 million you'll win the Lotto and about 1 in 125 million to win Powerball. If you're going to put down a dollar on a long-shot, do you go for the better odds and a smaller payout, or go for the Powerbll and a chance at big money?

A community in Daytona Beach is talking about a moritorium on new churches. It's something being discussed by the Midtown Redevelopment Board. One member says the large number (about 30) of churches in the area take up valuable property and leave no room for new businesses to move in. Also, churches don't pay tax, or generate tax for the city.

What do you think? Do communities have the right to say churches can't be placed in certain areas? How many are too many?

Vandals sprayed 24 cars in a lot of Orlando City Hall this weekend. Three had anti-Obama messges and a racial slur. Cards were let behind with pro-Hillary statements on one side and statements against John McCain and Barak Obama on the other. Do you think this has anything to do with the "Unity" events between the Clinton and Obama campaigns? Do you think this is politically motivated by angry Clinton supporters, or just dumb kids with a few cans of spray paint? Check out some of the video and pics here online.

No Ice at the North Pole? This article from the Independent says there a good chance:

ange/exclusive-no-ice-at-the-north-pole-855406.html

Is this just alarmist? cause for concern? Do you trust the source? What do you think?

after today's official announcement of the big wheel coming to Orlando, what do you think? would you ride the sky coaster, giant ferris wheel, or what ever you call it?

I rode a similar one in Paris(not sure if it's the same size) and it was a little strange. you ride inside an enclosed capsule that can hold a few people. the views were great, but it can make you a little sick.

I've been seeing more and more little scooters on the road now( I asume because of gas prices)

I don't feel that safe driving by them, let alone on one...I think I could drive safe, I just don't trust the rest of the driving population out there not to run in to me.

but if I didn't have to get on the interstate to get to work, I think I'd have to consider a little Vespa, Scooter, even an old Moped to commute on. I bet those things get pretty good mileage.

anyone drive one of these things?

I know many of Florida have opposed drilling for oil off the coast for years...but is your mind now changing with $4/gallon gas?

and opponents...what is the biggest fear? I understand the rigs would be well out to sea and not visible from any shore. and as for the environment, I don't remember any accidents or leaks in the gulf, even during the distruction of hurricanes. and as for the Exxon accident in Alaska, I think that was from importing oil from overseas...and oil drilling in the gulf or off shore would use pipelines, not ships?

What do you think? Would this eventually help bring down gas prices?

Anyone ever get the chance to go back and visit a home you used to live in?...kinda like that show on TLC where a couple remodles their new home and the old owners get to come back in and check it out?

I get go see the house I grew up in for 20 years on an upcoming vacation to Iowa. My brother found out one of their new friends lives in my childhood home. I'm anxious to go in and see how different it is....I'm sure they didn't keep the shag carpeting or the avacado green kitchen.

Beach vendors in Volusia County want to push the county to suspend beach tolls. the think the $5 a day per car charge is keeping people away. for those of you who live in Central Florida, how often do you take a day trip to the beach? which one do you go to? do you spend any money there? would you go to Volusia beaches more often if you got to drive on the beach for free?

I usually go just for 2-3 hours at a time to either NSB or Daytona Beach, but I never pay to drive on the sand. I park for free and take everything with me. the only thing I buy may be a soda or water at a gas station on the way there.

Hillary Clinton isn't giving up. She's going to push super-delegates to give her the nomination because when you add up all the votes (I think even taking MI out) she has the most. She will win the popular vote, but lose in the delegate count.

Which should count? Should democrats pick nominees like republicans with winner-take-all primaries? If they did, Clinton would have wrapped up the nomination months ago.

I got my first taste of watching MMA, or Mixed Martial Arts, this weekend. I watched a little of the Saturday night fights on another network. I've never been a big boxing fan or seen much UFC or other MMA fights. but there were some ver y good athletes and a couple great matches that I saw. It wasn't the bloody, all-out brawl I've always heard of....although there were some good shots landed and some blood.

Any other MMA fans out there? Why do you like it and which league/fighters are your favorite?

I'm at the cape for today's shuttle launch.

It's 2pm now and about 3 hours to launch. The crew has made it to the launch pad and is now getting strapped in for the ride.

the weather is great and NASA is still saying 80% favorable. there could be a few showers around, but the seabreeze is picking up and should blow anything inland.

I'll check back in and try to give more updates, but for now the clock is still counting down and we're a "go" for launch at 5:02 p.m.

As part of my story tonight we showed a few people a photo and asked if they recognized this person:

Meet Jeff Kottkamp

would you be able to tell this is our Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp?

He could take over more responsibility if Crist ends up on the GOP ticket, or in the V.P. office.

BTW, the Lt. Governor holds no formal power...just there to take over if anythign happens to the Gov.

I caught a little of the rerun tonight of FOX's dancing idol show. I think some of the rejects are hilarious. and some of those other dancers that are more street performers were just entertaining to watch. Like American Idol, I think they should just do a whole season of auditions. I tune out once the contestants start dancing/signing well.
