A local guy has started a company that gives people lie detector tests. you can hire him for parties and tonight he had his first "Moment of Truth Party" at One Eyed Jacks downtown.

Would you go to a bar and put your loved ones or firends to the test on a polygraph?

Anything you'de like to know? Can you handle the truth?

after today's official announcement of the big wheel coming to Orlando, what do you think? would you ride the sky coaster, giant ferris wheel, or what ever you call it?

I rode a similar one in Paris(not sure if it's the same size) and it was a little strange. you ride inside an enclosed capsule that can hold a few people. the views were great, but it can make you a little sick.

Anyone ever get the chance to go back and visit a home you used to live in?...kinda like that show on TLC where a couple remodles their new home and the old owners get to come back in and check it out?

I get go see the house I grew up in for 20 years on an upcoming vacation to Iowa. My brother found out one of their new friends lives in my childhood home. I'm anxious to go in and see how different it is....I'm sure they didn't keep the shag carpeting or the avacado green kitchen.

I caught a little of the rerun tonight of FOX's dancing idol show. I think some of the rejects are hilarious. and some of those other dancers that are more street performers were just entertaining to watch. Like American Idol, I think they should just do a whole season of auditions. I tune out once the contestants start dancing/signing well.

After watching some of the results show tonight, I want to know if Idol fans like the big production for the finals?

I think it's cool to hear some of the duets with othe artists and some of the past big winners....but do really want to see the top 24 or 10 do a song and dance routine in goofy outfits that doesn't really fit many of their song styles? it kind of reminded me for a minute of the bad Brady Bunch variety show.

Should they just announce who wins and let them sing?

A new coaster was announced today at Universal Orlando..called The Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit. Sounds like it will twist and turn overhead through parts of CityWalk and the parks...should be cool, and stomach churning.

Any coaster fans out there want to chime in? How will this one rate?

I tried to see a few of the oscar movies this year...less than I wanted to.

I usually want to watch the Academy Awards even if  I haven't seen all the films, but this year I'm just not into it. I'm not sure if it was the writer's strike causing less build up by cancelling the other awards shows. or are the movies just not as good as they used to be?

I guess some will just tune in to see what people are wearing.

I just learned about this new upscale retail and entertainment center in Daytona Beach. it will be right along ISB across from the track and have offices for the Int. Speedway Corp, a hotel, residential, retail, restaurants, and a huge movie theater.

is this what Daytona Beach needs to keep poeple there instead of driving down I4 for more upscale shopping, dining, and lodging? will it only be used during the big events? seems like DB is a pretty sleepy town most weeks of the year.

did you bother to watch any of this tonight on NBC?

if you dont' have the show because of the writer's strike, why even broadcast the winners in a primetime press conference?

at least they finished in an hour and didn't drag on to midnight....and one more note: I'm glad I didn't watch most of this because I can't stand Billy Bush.

If I weren't working this Christmas, chances are I'd be in a moview theater. After opening gifts, going to church, and eating too much, it seems like it's the only thing to do. (the malls are still closed Christmas Day right?)

so how did you spend your holiday? see any good movies? last weekend I saw National Treasure II and through it was great. It's a little out there like the first one, but it weaves enough history in to make it somewhat believable. I know it won't win any awards and critics will slam it, but sometimes you just want to go to the theater and have a good time for a couple hours.

I keep seeing promos for this new show on another network. I can't wait! I loved the original as a kid. I loved the game where they shoot the competitors with tennis ball guns...and the beating each other with giant Q-Tips was fun too.

I wonder if they'll bring back the corny names like "Jazz" Blaze" "Nitro" or any others that could also be the name of your dog.

Anyone else remember this show and have any favorite moments?

BTW, should this be posted in the "Sports" or Entertainment" section?

It looks like the late night talkers, Jay, Conan, and Dave will be back after the first of the year....without their writers. Do you miss having fresh shows every night, or miss some of your primetime ones? or could you live without the writers? either way, it should be interesting to see what they come up with on their own. Maybe they'll just sticking to talking with their guests.

It seems like a lot of movies coming out in the last couple weeks are getting really good reviews. I guess the studios save all the ogod stuff for this time of year because of the Academy Awards.

Anyone have a good movie to reccommend this Oscar season? I'm going to try to see all of the Best Picture nominees, which I think I've only done once in the past.

BTW, I think the movie I'm most looking forward to, that won't get a sniff at an award, is "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" the first one was a great, fun movie, and I'm hoping the sequel is just as good.

anyone hire someone to decorate their home for Christmas? I know there are companies out there who will come and put up the lights on the outside and come take them down in January. some will even decorate the inside of your home.

Anyone do this? or do you like to do it yourself as a tradition this time of year? I don't think I could ever hire anyone to put up my Christmas tree...but getting up on a latter to hang lights? maybe.

For the first time since I can remember, the hottest toy of one shopping season is the hottest toy the next yeat. I'm not sure if you'de call the Nintendo Wii a toy, but I'm sure parents everywhere will be looking for them. I know many places don't have them and probably won't be getting many in before Christmas.

ANyone already have one and want to tell me how cool it is? what are the best games? and anyone trying to find one this season and having a hard time?

BTW, Happy Thanksgiving. hope everyone had a great time and plenty of turkey.
