Each week in our power breakfast reports I profile a local business success story. Among the things I have learned doing these reports is, Americans love the thought of going into business for themselves. It is their chance to become the boss. Many of those with the desire to run their own show turn to franchise opportunities. So did you ever wonder which companies are the top-5 franchises in America! Beginning October 29th and running each Monday morning through November 26th, we will unveil the top-5. It is a series of power breakfast reports you won't want to miss.

Tom Curran I think you are great, I wish you were in charge of the political blogs, you probably have a full plate on your table already, but I don't feel the political blogs are as up to par as News,Sports,Weather,Entertainment. Maybe Dave O. or one of the more popular respected bloggers, maybe Crankyman, Michelled, Yellowdog, I don't know and I am not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. They should have thick skin anyways. I hope you have a great day, keep up the good work. Thank you.

I'M THE HOCKEY NUT AT FOX 13. ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME, KNOWS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE SPORT. I'VE PLAYED IT, COACHED IT AND NOW I EVEN REF IT. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RE FROM TORONTO CANADA. MY FAMILY MOVED FROM CANADA TO CALIFORNIA WAY BACK IN 1964. THE GOLDEN STATE IS WHERE MY BROADCASTING CAREER BEGAN AT STATIONS IN SAN JOSE AND SACRAMENTO BUT IN 1994 I MADE THE BEST MOVE OF MY CAREER BY MOVING TO FOX 13 IN TAMPA. NOW 13 YEARS LATER I'M STILL ENJOYING BOTH THE STATION AND THE AREA. I'VE TRADED THE GOLDEN STATE FOR THE SUNSHINE STATE, AND WHAT A TRADE ITS BEEN. BY THE WAY, GO LIGHTNING!
