You've seen her on the air for months as a mom-to-be, and now the baby is here! Good Day's Nerissa Prest welcomed a brand new baby girl on Wednesday morning at 7:54 a.m. Ava Evelyn weighs 9 pounds, 14.5 ounces, and we hear the whole family is doing great.

Congrats, Nerissa, Paul, and family!

Congratulations! Sounds like you two are doing well, you sound better on the phone the day after the birth than I did a week later! My son weighed almost 10 pounds, good luck with that. Trying to keep him fed and clothed (none of the newborn stuff fits a 10 pounder) was a challenge in it's self.

My son weighted exactly the same weight and I had him natural 28 years ago !!
Enjoy the new family memeber and have a wonderful Mother's Day!!
Lots of hormones in the house for Paul! Poor Man :)

What a wonderful Mothers day present to add to your family. May all your nights be peaceful and all your days be happy. They grow soooo fast. Enjoy every second. My oldest is 24. Wish I could do it all over just so I could hold him again. Best wishes and enjoy your time off.
