I have always been a fan of Paula Abdul, but last night's Idol was just a mess. I have been around the block enough to know when someone is snockered, and boy she was LIT. When you have a pro like Niel Diamond as the mentor, you would think that a professional attitude is called for, but I suppose that's hard to do when you are as wiped out as she was.  As far as the performances.....Jason, give up, you are not Idol material, I really don't know how he has made it this far.....David Cook, consistently good as usual, great song choices, allthough a bit obscure....Brooke, it is really too bad that she can't find her "zone", because when she gets into that whole Carly Simon/Jewel thing she does well, but not last night....David Archuleta, young, cute, INCREDIBLE voice range and lot's of potential, but needs to go back into the oven and cook a little longer, when he grows up he will definately have an amazing career, he did rock it out with America....(smart, manipulative, maybe??).......Sayesha, WOW... has been a pleasure to watch her grow as a performer, great voice, I thought she was among the best of the night, and she looked great too.....one last comment, are the contestants really allowed to write the lyrics on their hands so they don't forget???  May as well have a monitor with the words just like karaoke at the bar. That is what Brooke did last night, does'nt seem fair. Are there rules about this kind of thing???
