And the oscar goes (yawn) to:

Have you ever noticed that most of the Oscar nominations are for movies that only the critics seem to want to see? The main purpose of Movies is to entertain. It's kind of the deal we have. We fork over our money they entertain us. Of the oscar nominated films the only ones I find entertaining are Sweeney Todd and the Animated Features. The others will not entertain me because I will never see them. I really am not interested in "There will be blood",or " no country for old men". "Enchanted"  was a great  Film, very entertaining. "Transformers" rocked, and "Beowulf" was just amazing. "Beowulf" was entertaining, educational, and creative. yet for some reason The Academy ignored it. It is my hope that one day the academy will stop listening to film critics and start giving awards to the films that are entertaing.
