Let me be like the millionth person to say that ROMEO NEEDS TO GO ALREADY. Congrats to the Browns on their win over the Bills, but Crunnel needs to go somewhere else. That's all I can really say at this point. I'm not hating on the dude or nothing. But I believe he can try a lot harder than what he's been doing. He did make a good move by selecting Brady Quinn as the quarterback though. I hope he keeps playing like a pro.
The truck drivers and the bus drivers need to obey the law already! I can understand some truckers and perhaps even bus drivers, coming from another town or even another state not knowing about the ban, but there is absolutely NO excuse for the local truck and bus drivers using the Innerbelt bridge after the ban has been placed. They sure can't use the 'I didn't see any signs.' line, because ODOT has signs everywhere. Okay, so it is an inconvience for, you might as well say, all the truckers and bus druvers. Please do me a favor and GET OVER IT. ODOT was kind enough to tell you where you can detour at. They are telling y'all this for your good. But if y'all want to play Fear Factor on the rusting Innerbelt Bridge, go right ahead.Just don't go suing the city of Cleveland for your disobidence when something happens.
I am AMAZED by the story I heard about the teenage girl who lived without a heart. That is TRULY a miracle! I hope and pray that she knows that she is a miracle. All of us know that the heart is a major muscle that you usually cannot live without, unless God's Hand is upon you. When I heard that story, I began praising God for that and for being who He is. He is capable of doing all things. Nothing is impossible or too hard for Him to do. I love Him so much and thank Him for His Miracles. I pray that those who have heard this story, gave some thought about their life and I pray that if they weren't a Child of the King, that they repented of their sins, meant it and asked God into their life.

I'm not gonna start bashing the Browns for losing against the Steelers on Sunday. The Steelers are a tough team to beat anyway. Whoever's coaching that team needs to coach the Browns and they can send Romeo elsewhere. I'm not gonna bash Romeo either. I believe he's doing the best he can. And if he isn't, he needs to start. I alson believe that the Browns have lost a bit of confidence and probably fans, too. I'm not a football fan, I just like the teams with the cool names. I believe if the fans would get behind this team a thousand percent and if Romeo would somehow coach better, we would se a 180 turn. That's just my thought.
The wind was FURIOUS on Sunday night! My whole house was rattling and I was kind of concerned about the windows shattering. I am glad I wasn't out in it. I was at the bus stop Monday morning and this guy asked me did my power go out, which it did. He told me that he was at the Browns/Steelers game. I thought for some reason that Akron was the only city with power outages, but I thought wrong. I found out latter on that day while I was talking to my mom on the phone, that there was a tornado on Springfield Lake. I know several people who live on the lake and I would not be suprised if it was that tornado that caused the strong winds. The power in my house didn't get restored until 5:20am Monday morning. I know those people in Texas have it a million times worse though.

I am still a little shocked that Stephanie is gone. She was truly a great Congresswoman. I've never met her, but from all the postive things I've heard from the news of her death even up to this moment I knew that she was one of the ones who doesn't play games. She took her job seriously. I heard her voice on the radio one time and just by hearing her voive I knew she meant BUSINESS. I am so glad she knew God for herself. I know that her and her husband are rejoicing together. I am so thankful to God for such a courageous woman of faith. I pray that Mervyn Jr. would stay encouraged and know that his parents are in a much better place. I hopw that whoever fills her seat would do a great job. I know they have some large shoes to fill. No one can replace her.
As far as the filling her seat thing or filling any vacant seat: I can understand why somewhat that is. But in all due respect, I feel that they should bend that a little. Like if a Congressman or Congresswoman went to jail for life, then they could fill that vacant seat quickly. But if a Congressman or Congresswoman dies, like Stephanie Tubbs Jones has, they need to at least give some time to mourn and grieve. Like anywhere from a week to a month, then they can find a replacement. That's just my opinon though.
The guy who calls himself filing a lawsuit against his neighbor for his barking dog(s). PLEASE GROW UP AND/OR FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO! I can see how a constantly barking dog can be annoying but at the same time, dogs do bark. What does he expect the owner to do, strap a muzzle on the dog 24/7? They do make earplugs you know for situations like that. The guy shouldn't allow barking dogs to keep him awake. IF he hasn't gotten a good night's sleep that's his own fault. And I wonder has he ever tried bring nice or approaching his neighbor nicely and saying something like: " Is it possible for you to keep your dogs quiet somehow?" or something like that in a nice manner?

Okay, I'd like this question to be answered: WHAT THE HECK WAS THE PARENT(S) THINKING?!? You would have to be seriously drunk or mindless to come up with a name like Tellulah Does The Hula From Hawaii or whatever her name was. I am glad that the judge ruled in favor of the girl. The poor kid was set up for major embarassment. And then her loopy parents weren't the only parents who named their kid a wacky name. Fish & Chips? Violence? I would like to do brain surgery on the parents who named their kids crazy names like that. I'd like to exchange their not-working-in-the-first-place brain for a working one with a quadruple dose of common sense times the highest number in the world. I mean what's wrong with names like Earl, David, Christine and all the other commonly used names? Were they THAT desperate to be different in naming their kids?

First of all I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of such a great man. My heart goes out to the family of Josh Miktarian. I have never met him before but for some reason I feel like he was a part of my family. I am truly sorry for your loss. I just pray that he knew God for himself. I believe that this whole tragedy will bring people together and will open up all of their eyes. Life is too short for the silly, petty stuff. I believe that this will cause people to think hard about their own life. I believe even, that this will bring some people to repentance and to God. Jesus is coming soon whether we realize it or not and He's not gonna hold up His return for no one. So if you do not know Him for yourself, I advise that you truly and wholeheartedly, repent of your sins and give your life to Him. Trust me, it's the best decision you will make.
As for Ashford Thompson: He has the same chance to think about what he did. He took a life. Josh's blood is on his hands. I'm not going to say he doesn't deserve the death penalty, because he does. He needs to take a long look in the mirror and at his life. How in the world can he claim self defense when he stood there and shot ON PURPOSE Josh 4 times in his head? Sounds to me like he did it intentionally. He could've just admitted guilt and he probably would've just gotten a ticket or a fine for whatever he was stopped for intially. But because he didn't do none of that, his life is now hanging in the balance. And his attorney needs to look up the word self defense.
I was shocked that a radio show dedicated an hour to Ashford Thompson. And I believe the comments made by Ashford's mom and sis were sort of taken out of context. But at the same time, inappropriate and cold hearted. It felt like a slap in the face to the Miktarian family. I think when Ashford's mom said that he was 'very fine' I believed she meant before he began getting in trouble with the law. There is nothing to defend the actions of the man who took a life, on purpose. His mom and sis needs to wake up on the reality side quickly.

Bobby Cutts is so guilty. I was not impressed nor moved by his crocodile tears. He was trying too hard to sound remorseful. Maybe he was, but I wasn't buying the act. And I do know that you can accidentally kill someone, but what he did didn't sound like an accident. Why would you put an elbow to somebody throat, especially a pregnant woman? I agree with the news anchor who said that Bobby probably did not want to pay child support again. Well, common sense would tell anyone, if you don't want a baby, don't have sex without protection. Better yet, don't have sex at all until you know without a shadow of a doubt that you and your mate are ready. I do hope the jury does find him guilty of aggravated murder. He deserves to die for what he did. And another thing, why would you be at someone's house at 2 am to pick up your child? That is just crazy. What happened to waiting until morning? I hope they take to mind what Blake said. That poor kid will never see his mom again because of a heartless, ruthless, so-called man taking his mom's life. If he should have his life spared, I hope he thinks really, really hard about what went on. I hope he thinks so hard that he gets a massive headache that can only go away if he apologizes and he means it sincerely.

Do y'all really want to know what would Jesus eat? Here's the answer: READ YOUR BIBLE AND FIND OUT. That lady who created this diet needs to find something better to do. Jesus ate clean food. He didn't eat pork or any other thing that was declared unclean. He didn't drink any alcholic drink either. But here's some advice for you guys and gals. I advise that if you have any item with 'What Would Jesus Do' on it or anything with "What Would Jesus...' on it to throw it away. If you really want to know what Jesus would do or say in any given situation, it's as simple as reading the Bible. God's Word has the answers to all of yours (and mine) problems in it already. And if you don't understand the Bible, find someone who has been Born Again (saved) and has Christ in their hearts and ask them to help you get to know and understand God's Word. And don't allow doubt to set in because it will only put you further back from what you are trying to get to. Put your ear to God's Mouth and listen to what He is saying and do what He gives you to do and all will be taken care of.

Congrats to the Giants on winning the SuperBowl yesterday. Although I thought New England was gonna whoop some serious booty, I'm okay with the Giants. Hey, what do you call a big ant? A GI-ANT! I made up a Giants cheer originally reserved for the Patriots, but all I had to do was change a few words oh, and rip off the Hillshire Farm commerical! You'll see it at the end of my blog.
I hope Britney is serious this time about getting help. I guess reality did slap her somewhat. Within 2 years we could possibily see a new, improved (greatly) Britney! If she doesn't do it for herself, her kids would be the next ones to do it for.
As I just finished typing about Britney, I just remembered hearing about Micheal Jackson on T.V on another station yesterday. For those of you who ever wondered what his kids look like under those masks, you're going to find out. Hopefully they're cuter than he is. Personally, I thought Micheal was cuter when he was younger (back around when 'Thriller' the CD came out and 'Bad' also). He got uglier after 'HIStory: Past, Present & Future' came out and turned just plain puke-inducing after the mishap with his nose. But a lot of rehab and realizing he's not at icon status anymore, will change that (I hope).
I cannot wait until this whole election thing is over! Seeing all these political ads interrupting my favorite shows on T.V. is driving me nuts. I'd like to cast my vote like 3 days ago, please. If Borak Obama become President, some people are going to have fun with his name. My mom already called him Osama accidentally once. And we all heard of Borak, the comic dude (or was it a movie?) so the accent on the 'a' or the 'o' ain't fooling nobody dude. Speaking of Osama, is Osama bin Laden still hiding out or did he croak or did Bush forget to tell us that he was found and captured?
AND NOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN FOR MY RIP-OFF OF HILLSHIRE FARM GIANTS CHEER...
Go Giants! You rule! You took New England to school! You kicked their butts and made them cry (waa, waa, waa, weep, uh-uh, yeah weep, OOOH!)
WHEN I SAY NEW YORK, YOU SAY GIANTS! NEW YORK! (GIANTS) NEW YORK! (GIANTS)

I don't know if the story is on this website because I didn't bother to look. I saw the story on AOL. But for those who haven't heard yet, a 911 operator was found guility for not sending emergeny personnel to a little boy's home. She also accused the boy of playing games and then hung up on him. The kid called 911 because his mom passed out and died. A second 911 operator was cleared of charges when she took the boy's call and sent police but not EMS to check it out.
I think that is so sad that the little boy had to go through that. He lost his mom because of someone's stupidity. His mom would have survived, had help arrived. I do know that kids do play on the phone but they should have parents to teach them about emergency situations and how to dial 911 and they should also know that 911 is used only in case of emergencies, not as a joke or prank line. There are lives at stake every day. If that 911 operator had compassion, we probably wouldn't have heard about this and I probably wouldn't have nothing to blog about. So parents, please teach your little ones about 911. Children are never too young to learn.

I was actually going to blog about Britney on my MySpace page today after I got done reading the comments on my last post. Yesterday, I was listening to a couple of her songs and I was just thinking about Britney then and Britney now. The old Britney was loveable, bright, stayed out of trouble, was a good dancer and was cute. Britney now is getting into trouble, drinking, having accidents, shaved her head (which was a really stupid move), dances like a prositute on a 45 day period, lip syncing her songs, and looks ugly with a capital U. My dog is cuter then she is now. I just wish that common sense would slap her hard enough back into reality. I also wish that someone in her family who isn't screwed up mentally, would get involved. But I know you can't force someone to get help. I liked the old Britney. Her songs were smash hits. Now it's just smashed. I wonder what posessed her to say that she was tired of being a role model. Being a role model is better than being the total opposite. If somebody calls you a 'goody two shoes' , SO WHAT, LET THEM! i was watching the Tyra Banks show yesterday and this plus sized woman humilated herself on the internet by posting really sexy pics online. Why? Because she didn't want to be called and teased for being a goody two shoes.

I honestly believe that someone let that 300 pound tiger escape out of its pen. I wonder if the zoo has security cameras in different areas of the zoo or if one of them were close enough to the tiger's pen to record what was going on up to the point of the attack. I hate the fact that the animal had to be shot but I don't blame the police for shooting it dead. I am certain that anyone else would have done the same thing if they didn't have a tranquilizer gun and dart on hand immediately.
I think that the guy's boss who fired him for violating the 'no touching' rule needs to be slapped numerous times. What was the guy supposed to do? Eat food that gives you bad or hot breath and breathe on the criminal and hope he passes out? He did have the right to do what he did but he shouldn't have lost his job because of it. And as for the 'no touching' thing, if that guy's boss passes out one day in front of him, wouldn't he expect him to give him mouth to mouth in order to survive like any other person, or would he still, while gasping for air, tell him to give him m.t.m without touching him? I don't think mouth to mouth has ever been done without some type of contact.

It has been a while since I was on here bloggin'. But anyway, did anyone watch 'The Price Is Right' at all this week? Drew Carey is hosting now BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME!!!!!!!!! I miss Bob Barker. But I understand he is aging (slowly) and he can't work forever. But he made the show fun. But Drew Carey is alright though.
Someone PLEASE tell me that the Tribe wiped the field with the Red Sox in Game 6! I'm not a baseball fan at all but when I hear that the Tribe, Cavs or even the Browns, are headed for the playoffs or the SuperBowl, I get behind the team and support them as best I can. I really, really, REAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLY hope that the Indians go to the World Series and WIN! So GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to the contestants on 'Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?' I mean, oh my gosh they were so...not on earth. I mean, HELLO! Everyone should know that summer starts in June (not August), that antonyms are the opposite of a word and that the Gobi Desert is in Asia! I thought it was really cute how different countries have their own version of the game show. I would love to be a contestant on the show, but I would just be satisfied with just being in the audience. They would probably throw me out though because I'd be screaming out the answer because some contestant took way too long to answer a simple question. That's what I do at home a lot, especially if I'm watching a game show. My mom constantly tells me that the people on T.V can't hear me. I guess I get excited because I love quiz shows. You learn a lot from them.
Buck the Comic was too funny yesterday. Some dude sent in an email bashing Cleveland and the teams and Buck had me rolling! But it is probably true that you can walk 10 blocks in Detroit and never leave a crime scene. I also laughed at something else he said about Detroit but I cannot remember it now. When I post my next blog and I happen to remember it, I'll type it in that one.
Fall begins tomorrow. I am hoping for one thing: snow on my birthday which is 11/11. A dusting will not do for me. A nice foot or two is sufficient. I'll be on vacation all that week anyway. I CAN'T WAIT! A whole week without working. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, tranquility!

Just when I thought I heard everything, there's something I'd never heard. A Grim Reaper cat? As much as I love cats, no cat is that spooky. I strongly believe that the cat gives a sense of peace to those who are near death. I think that when those who sees the cat, senses the peace and dies in peace. Maybe that sounds crazy, but it's the only thing I can come up with. I have a cat at home and he is ever so gentle, loveable and peaceful. But most domestic cats are like that.
As for Drew Carey hosting TPIR, I'm sort of happy but I'm sort of not. It's just going to be so weird without Bob Barker. I might watch it just to see what it's like though.
I read all the comments on my last posts and I do have this to say: Everyone's entitled to their opinon whether it's right or wrong. But when someone calls the Word of God a book of fiction, I have to straighten that out. The Bible is not a fiction book at all. It's a book filled with truth from Genesis to Revelations. Whether you believe it is or not is all on you. Just know that Judgement Day is closer than we think. It could be the next second, or soon as I type the next letter. God will judge us all according to how we have lived. And if you think you're going to Heaven based on the fact that you are, or you think you are a good person, I hate to burst your bubble but WRONG! The only way you can get to Heaven is by confessing your sins and inviting Jesus into your life. Jesus did not have to die for us. He could've come down from that cross. But because Jesus loves us all, He stayed hanging on the cross and died. Yes, I am a Bible Pusher, so what? If that is what you call us God fearing people, then fine. But we care and love you and are concerned about your place of eternity. I don't know about you, but I want to be where my Father is now, in Heaven.

I wish this whole hoop-la over the new Harry Potter book was over already! But check this out: I was watching the 700 Club yesterday and found out that the author of all those Harry Potter books once was and probably still is, engaged in the occult and witchcraft and such like that. Why am I not suprised? I'm just not. Even worse, there's a drawing going on at my workplace (Target) for the new Harry Potter book. Whoever fills out the most 'Great Team Hero' cards gets their name thrown in a drawing. Whoever they wrote the card to, also wins a book. I'd torch that book in nothing flat. Strange though, that a Harry Potter book peaks more interest than the Bible.
As for Councilman Pulensik, I give him mass kudos for what he did. At least he cared enough to write a letter to the teen. The teen has a chance to either get on the right path now or keep going down the road he's going and wind up in an even worse place than jail and the cemetery. It's called HELL. So his momma need to quit whining and actually get on board with the councilman and try to steer the teen straight.
Hey all y'all Clevelanders with the new green cans: We got those down here in Akron too. But you know what sucks? If you want another trash can (the green one) you have to fork over fifty bucks. And, on top of that, if you do pay the fifty bucks, the can still ain't yours! That's some serious hogwash and bullcrap. And now for the third shocker: If you move away to another house or city, YOU CAN'T TAKE THE CAN WITH YOU! It has to stay at the house it's at. Crazy, ain't it?
