I have been a fan of the Bucaneers since they first started palying and I have never seen a player play with such heart and determination as Chris did yesterday. Please let him know that he might have gone down but he went down a winner. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family.

Dear Chris,
You are in our prayers for a speedy recovery. You showed great determination yesterday after your incident where you knelt down and went out of the game and was taken to the locker room. You came back and finished the game even though from what we hear today it must have been hard with the pain you must have been in. We did not hear until Monday morning on the radio that you had been taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. Take what time you need to fully recover and then come back as the winner quarterback you have been in the past. Good Luck.

Chris,

you may think different, because it is your job but football is still just a game! Get healthy and do the right thing for your family, your wife and baby, the 2 MOST important things in your life!

Good luck and God speed to a healthy recovery.

Carmine.

Chris ,
It takes alot of heart and will to do what you did this past Sunday . It is an attribution to the kind of man and player that you are , and your determination did not go unrecognized . Your teammates will rally around Bruce Gradkawski and they will now, be more determined than ever , in part because of the great leadership , determination , and will that you , their quarterback , have shown and instilled upon them .
As a player myself , I know what kind of pain you are going through , besides the physical part. Football is the game you love , and the way you also make your living . But like everyone else is saying , ''it's just a game '' and you are a young man still , and you have many more years ahead of you in the NFL. So , take this time to heal , fully. And we will all keep you in our prayers , and until you come back , whenever that may be , I know I will be behind Gradkawski , and be rooting on the Bucs , as im sure you will be as well .
So Chris , we all wish you a safe , speedy recovery and we cannot wait to see you under center taking snaps once again , some day soon .

Get well soon pal ,

I was born and raised a Tampa Bay Bucs fan but currently live in Panthers territory.
Chris Simms is tough as nails-- thanks for making us Bucs fans proud here in Charlotte.
The Panthers fans held their tongues this Monday knowing our quarterback rallied back with a ruptured spleen!
We love you Chris! Get well soon.

Chris:
Just to say our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Our son had this surgery back a few years ago and is doing just fine. Of course, our sone is a little older than you, but the success of recovery is the same. You will do fine, but listen to your doctors before coming back on the field on game day.
All the best,
Geri & Larry Tyler
