I have to say I was on the fence about Jim Davis or Charlie Crist but the recent actions of the Crist campaign answered my question. Even if Crist did not pay for the signs, the campaign should have been told you can not break the law and should be held accountable. It is one thing to do it and then say oh I am sorry we will take them down but to be told and answer by putting up another sign. If Crist does not know then that just adds to the reason he should not be govenor. Thanks for letting me sound off but we have enough politicians breaking the law and it all starts with little things.

Lord Gekkos statement can be a description of 99% of politicians. I would however say they look like a Cheshire Cat with that big fake smile they wear. I can see your confusion Bucsgirl37. :-)

Why do politians waste money printing up champaign posters and then littering our yards, highways and where ever else they can find to put them. I have asked a lot of people, and NO ONE has ever voted for an individual because he or she has a campaign sign stuck up somewhere.
I, along with a lot of other people that vote, do a lot of background information on candidates. There are sites on the internet that tell you how our representatives vote on different issues. The sites even tell you if the member was there or not.
But on the other hand, maybe I have been doing it wrong for all these years. Maybe I should count all the political signs for each candidate and the one with the most signs--vote for them. (Just kidding).

They all have "a plan" to solve our problems. Don't believe it. If you listen closely you will not hear anything of substance from these folks.

The only weapon we have is to vote out the folks that don't keep their promises. No more multiple terms till they get it right.

Jamesdean obviously your ignorance shows through in your comments. Maybe you should do some research as to what exactly The Salvation Army does, before you pass judgement on someone. I hope that you never have to rely on the programs or services of The Salvation Army to help you deal with "a personal disaster." The Salvation Army is not just a thrift store. They are out there on the job 24/7 serving our fellow man in the name of God. So before you passs judgement and state that, "Jim Norman needs to get a real job." why don't you tell the hundreds of child we help daily that have no home. The people in our shelters, the families whose utilities we assist with during crisis, Christmas presents to foster children....I could go on, and on for an hour of all the different people that are assisted through The Salvation Army's employee's and it's generous donors. Why don't you Jamesdean tell those people that we will just go get a real job and they can worry about themselves. You sound like the perfect mudslinging politician!!!!!

Fo me it's simple, if they continously call me w/out my requesting it & litter my neighborhood with signs & flyers then they lose my vote. Mailers can be tossed away easily & don't waste too much time. Signs at major intersections make sense, but posting 1 every 20 ft on the major roadways doesn't, it's litter!

I totally agree. Crist has spent millions on these junk signs, that is why you see more of them then the ones for Davis. Why are these people not donating all that money to some place where it would be useful and helpful and not thrown away on Wed after the election. I got off the interstate at 38th Ave yesterday and there were six Crist signs on the same side of the street at that one exit.
