I would first like to apologize if anyone is offended or upset by this. Letters of complaint sometimes don't work and they tend to be received on an individual basis. I figured creating this blog might help me gather more feedback and reinforce my feelings.

I really don't think that Karen Posada is cut out for this show or this channel. It is PAINFUL to hear her get through her reports in the morning. Her voice and her reporting style make my skin crawl. She stumbles through every report, stops in the middle of sentences, and constantly mispronounces words. It's just terrible, unprofessional, and falls far below the standards of this show.

I am the child of immigrants so this isn't about race or anything like that. I happen to think that Elizabeth Espinosa is an AWESOME reporter. She is very well-spoken and has great chemistry with everyone else on the show. Her personality is fantastic and her reports are pleasant.

Poor Karen doesn't seem to have any connections with anyone on the show. This morning's report about the tanker crash was a train wreck itself!

If anyone agrees with me, please share your thoughts, but PLEASE, let's keep the ignorance, bad language, and insults out of this. My comments were honest and I was not trying to be cruel in any way.

I totally agree with everything you said. Not to be mean or anything, but this girl does not belong in front of a camera....ever! Her delivery of any story I've seen her do has been terrible. The powers that be must see how she stumbles through and has extremely poor enunciation. Don't be too sure that she doesn't have connections with anyone at Fox. In my opinion, she's GOT to have an "in" with at least one of the higher ups, or she would have been yanked after her first report. I can only wonder how long they are going to let this train wreck continue.

Agree about Elizabeth Espinosa. She’s the best! I’d love to see her as an anchor in the near future.

What you guys talking about, she is the best and her personality is awesome, some of the others are boring and not so articulate, I cant understand how people can have so bad appreciation of a girl with such an outgoing personality. Shame of you having time to write postings like this, but I guess this is a free speech country so in the end the truth will prevail and if she has been on cammera for so long it means she is good and even getter better day by day. I believe her job is way much better than that "Espinosa" girl and the other one "Fajardo". Karen dresses properly everytime she appears on cammera and her hair looks awesome, so Go Karen!! you have a great future ahead as a reporter..Cheers for people like her on live news...

If you werent forming a bias based on her race then why would you even introduce the fact that your comment " isnt about race or anything like that?"I believe that karen has a great personality and as PDmalibu said " looks awesome."Posada has a sort of "nich" for news but i also belief that, as its been argued, that she does not have any connections with any of the "higher ups,"if it werent for that i believe that Posada would problaby have a better position in the "news business".



Just a comment........im not trying to aggravate anyone.

I'm sorry riddler, but I disagree with you. I stated what I did because I knew someone would jump off and call me racist this or that. My point is that she lacks reporting skills. She stumbles through every report and continuously mispronounces very basic words. It's not even that she has an accent, she mixes things up and butchers a basic word.

I totally disagree with your comments about her knowing "higher ups". She doesn't move up because she's not talented enough or capable. Seems like you're turning this into "the man is keeping us down" but to be honest, they're already being TOO GENEROUS by allowing her to be on television.I'm not trying to aggravate anyone either. I'm happy to have your posting here and I welcome any postings from anyone with a brain. :-)

Dear c_molina72

I'm very sorry that you have such strong emotions towards my work. I must say that I love my job and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to connect with people from my community on a daily basis.

I understand that not everyone will like me or my reporting and that its fine. It is impossible to please everybody but what inspires me is when our viewers make the effort to communicate with me and share that a particular story has touched their heart.

I'm a journalist because I truly care about our community and I know that information is the only thing no one can take away from us.

Like every professional I have room for growth and I will keep on working as hard as I can to achieve the standards I have set for myself.

As for having connections with "the higher ups" that belief is a misconception, I am where am because of my hard work.
