Elizabeth Edwards Discussion on 'Your Turn' Today

I held today to give this information on the program but was not able to get on about Elizabeth Edwards. 
 
John Edwards seems to be being viewed as the one with the ambitions, but Elizabeth has high ambition, as well.  Most people do not realize she is an accomplished attorney herself.

Elizabeth Edwards clerked with the US District Court Judge, later worked for the North Carolina Attorney General's office, was a bankruptcy lawyer in NC, taught at the UNC law school.    This article clearly shows her interests in things her husband is interested in.  She's not just the little woman at home!
 
Having two relatives with stage 4 breast cancer currently, I somewhat know what she is about to go through.  My relatives have been told that attitude is the thing to make them survive.  Of course, if you are not dead, you are "treatable," but this is a serious issue and wears down a person.  One of my relatives was told she should have died, but her attitude had kept her alive.  That may be from where Elizabeth Edwards is coming.
 
As a former teacher seeing a lot of kids left home while their parents went to Europe, etc., I think the real victims are the kids, cancer or not; but we all do what we have to do.

Resident of NC most of my life. The only person I knew whenever I came to Tampa (besides my new husband) was Paul Dellagatto!! Of course, I was delighted, and felt more at home, whenever Fox 13 got Eric Chilton and Cynthia Smoot, who both were on my local NC station also (Eric is back at my local NC station). So, Fox 13 made me feel at home from the beginning!
