...We don't hear much about it really, but the applications are mind bending. Somewhat along the same lines as genetic engineering, in the sense that it could create tiny synthetic organisms to act like machines repairing our bodies from within.

...The applications for daily life are limitless, but so are the dangers and potential for abuse.
