Bush is one sick puppy!  Comparing the current situation to Nam... we had no right being in Nam, and no reason to be in Iraq.  It has been proven that we have no right to be in Iraq, other than the Bush family needing to keep the oil flowing and padding their pockets.  And now the most disgusting thing is happening on TV... the commercials of the wounded crippled soldiers or families of those who lost loved ones over there now supporting the "war".  How much were these people paid to lie about their true feelings?  I have yet to talk to someone who thought the "ads" were good.  Everyone at work thought they were disgusting.... and one young man, who lost his brother over there a few months ago, was crying during the discussion of the ads. 

Fox 13 is now on my "do not watch list", as is Channel 10 "WTSP".  I am thinking of upping my cable so that I will have more channels to watch... without "ads".  This is hard for me to say as I have been a long time Channel 13 watcher.  I will miss Paul, Dave, etc.

I may be wrong, but as I remember, we were in Nam honoring a treaty. As to the commercials, I find them very disturbing. Please remember that an organization paid for these ads and everyone in this country has a right to be heard. Even if they're wrong.

Vitt... to this day I will never understand our being in Nam. I lost a lot of good friends who entered the service, some by choice, some by the draft. I just find the current commercials disgusting, disturbing, etc.

Unfortunately, Rove & company understand the "dumbing of America" very well. How else can you explain how a few years back commercials made someone who had daddy keep his chicken butt out of Nam more of a military man than someone who had the guts to to war? This worked inside the Republiclown party against McCain and then against Kerry.

Quite true deop. All the lies spread about Kerry (swift boat, etc.) were debunked, but too late. Although I'm Conservative, I truly believe we'd have been better off with Kerry in the Oval Office.

Gentlemen... What we need is Hilary to be elected president. Then she will appoint other women to high posts. What country will think of going against us... on any given day someone will be PMS'ing or going through menepause! There actually was a book written about same back in the 50's or 60's... by a man... called "A Regiment of Women".

Vittorio, makes sense. Seeing Chelsea as a child... genes from both Clintons and a surrogate mother ;-)

But, if she wins, we have 2 presidents for the price of one. I take that back... can she run? She already was president!

I agree Charli! I have seen those ads on tv, and it is very sick. How can people justify losing their loved ones, or risk having loved ones injured, just because our wealthy president wants more control on foreign oil...how is this right? I wish somebody with some intelligence could explain it to me. Ive had people mention the 911 tragedy, saying our occupation of Iraq is therefore justified. I ask, "Where is the connection to Iraq?" Wake up American people!!!!

Buy the way...Hilary Clinton? I would rather have Monika Lewinski as my first female president. And, the Vietnam War was not actually a war, it was only a little police-action, remember?

I am sick of the way George W is ruining our country, making the whole world hate Americans. He can't even put a complete sentence together that makes any sense. But, I will certainly not vote for Hilary.
