This is a short survey, based on comments from many people about the elections... please post your comments.  TIA

What is you sex and race?

If 4 people were running for/applied for a position in govenrment or your company, how would you vote for them?  Heritage, age,  and religion are not part of the equation.

You have 4 selections with 4 criteria...

1.  A white man with: plenty of experience, some experience, little experience, no experience

2.  A black man with: plenty of experience, some experience, little experience, no experience

3.  A white woman with: plenty of experience, some experience, little experience, no experience

4.  A black woman with: plenty of experience, some experince, little experience, no experience.

Please explain you choice:

In other words, would you pick a white man with little experience over a black women with plenty of experience?

I would choose the best person with the best qualifications for the job...period..

For instance,,experience might not be so important if the person say,,had a history of NOT showing up for work,,etc..

"Heritage, age, and religion are not part of the equation. "

Odd, the entire survey is based on the above. Makes it kinda silly, doesn't it?

Oh yeah; my gender...male. My race...Human.

you guys are missing the point. I need answers to the questions as put forward.

Vittorio... "Heritage, age, and religion" are NOT part of the equation for a reason. The survey is for black and white, male or female... you can have a white, hispanic, muslim, male, or a black, european, catholic woman...

The group that spurred this survey consisted of a couple of each group... the answers were varied... one black man said he would vote for Obama because he was black, didn't matter his qualification, the other said he was voting for Hilary because her experience. The same thing with the woman in the group.

Sorry, Charli. I echo Hawkeye's sentiments.

First, experience is only ONE criterion. But I am also going to look at a candidate's ideals (that's why I'd sooner rot in hell than vote for Hillary Clinton) and his or her stance on the issues that matter to me.

Teddy Kennedy has lots of "experience" but I'd sonner vote for Arnold the Pig of Green Acres fame. Come to think of it, Arnold is a better pig than Teddy. At least Arnold didn't let a young woman drown in his car.

Black/white/man/woman doesn't matter one iota. Give me Thomas Sowell, who has little "experience" in government and I'd vote for him in a second.

The idea of voting for Clinton solely because she's a woman (THAT's a stretch) or Obama because he's black (that's a stretch, too) is preposterous!

gang... think of this survey as a multiple question test... not an essay. Please just answer the questions using the choices given.

Thanks ;-)

OK then. Since you've put it that way...

I would pick the white man with plenty of experience.

Like Vitt, my race is human. My sex is seldom.

randy... what part of "simple answers" do the men not understand! The survey is simple, easy, multiple choice. Oh wait! Men! I have a reason for the survey... Obviously FOX thinks it's important as it has been featured since I started it.

BTW... please join in at the lunch time break... 11:30 to 12:30. We get into some interesting discussions.

Listen and listen clear Yes I would vote for Obama if he was going against Romney.
I would vote for McCain if he was going against Hillary or Obama and I am sorry but it will be a cold day in hell before I vote for A Clinton , unless it was Chelsea Vs. the Bush twins then ok I would vote for a Clinton.

No matter how you answer you will be conceived as a raciest or a male chauvinist. Good try!

Can you people just answer the question?

Male/Female
Black/White
Experience

Oh... I forgot, most of the posters are men... they do not know how to read instruction! ;-)

We had a party at my old place. We were getting new patio furniture that had to be put together. The women got their pieces put together during the party. They read the instructions. The men worked hard at putting the stuff together. The next morning their pieces were still not put together!

How ironic. Today's TBT had an article about pretty much what I was trying to figure out with this brief survey. At least the reporter was able to get honest answers...

Strange... even the Trib had an article about the same topic in the Editorial section today.

First of all I do not understand the Q,it looks to me like the Q is to vague ether they have experience or they don't,I need to know more about the people. This realy does not make sense to me.

Judy... I kept it simple for a reason. The news articles that came out after I wrote this post proved my point. Very few people look into the whole package. Most white men will vote for the white man with little experience instead of the black woman with plenty of experience. Or, Most women will go for the woman regardless of experience or race. For the most part, the people at work and other friends, proved my point. The articles proved my point. One article went so far to say that young people wouldn't vote for McCain because he was old... their only reason.
