Once again, since FL became a state, we are going to be blamed/held responsible for the election mess.  Just because we changed our voting date should not have an effect on the election.  There must have been some reason for the change... or some research prior to changing the date and its effect before opting to change the date.  It's bad enough that we are lost in the dark ages by not allowing Independants to vote in the primaries.  Independants are independants because they want to vote for the "Best Man" not a party, if disappointed with the current presidential party actions.

The primary votes should count... no extra election either at the polls or by mail in.

Can we do a Class Action law suit against the Democratic Party for disallowing our votes?

Thanks Shorty. I'm an independant... voting for who I think is best, and upset that I couldn't vote in the primary. Florida does have a history as to elections... not a good history.

Democrats did it to themselves..Tough Luck

And the last election it was Christine Jennings that whined because she lost, the machines were defective, the count was wrong all the other excuses...

Got news for all you democrats if Hillery Clinton looses the next election, the same excuses are going to be made all over again; and Christine will be there to help her.

There is nothing with Florida other that a few whinners making alot of noise.

I say Too Bad. It's about time some part of Government followed through with the consequences. The party knew if they moved the elections up, the delegates wouldn't be seated. They did it anyway. Those are the contest rules and they should be followed. That goes for either party. I'm sick of all this whining about broken machines, recounts, re-do's and the other bull.

There's always going to be a loser and if you can't handle losing like a winner, you don't deserve to run for any office. Shut your mouth, hold out your hand and congratulate the winner. Stop wasting our time and money. Then get back to doing your job.

The reason that the primary was ruled invalid was that our "People's Governor" and the state legislators (mostly GOP) moved the date up in violation after the rules had been established. The parties have the right to make the rules, the courts have said so.
Let's not forget that the Republicans also were punished. Their votes will count only half. I wonder if there was something going on behind the scenes. I feel the voters were all taken for chumps. What better reason for there to be a national primary. Maybe then we can get back to acting like the greatest country in the world. God Bless America!

MOORE... something is very suspious about the date move... I agree. But, as I have said.... once again FL screwed things up. Just think of the money wasted in manning the posts....while we are under a "crunch" for money... when the votes didn't count anyways!

I am an Environmental Specialist with Hills. Cty. Basically, I am a "dumpster diver". I also do a lot of educational graphics design about the proper disposal of household chemical & electronics, litter, etc. My hobbies are very diverse... golf and reading, with sci-fi, forensic mysteries, and history being my favorites. My other passion is photography, mostly nature. Ever since experiencing my first hurricane in Florida, Cleo in 1964 when I was 15, when the eye went over my house, I have been fascinated with weather. I have a 99% accuracy... including predicting Charley's turn away from Tampa the night before he hit down south.
