First of all congratulations to Chicago and Indianapolis and their teams for reaching the Super Bowl.One of the things that drives me up the wall about the Super Bowl is how it has became more about the halftime show and the commercials than about the game itself.The Super Bowl is America's #1 official unofficial holiday and yet we continue to commercialize it in the name of the all mighty dollar just like we have our most sacred of holidays Christmas,which has gone from Christmas to Xmas to $mas and it needs to stop,we've already forgotten Thanksgiving (walk into any store a day after Halloween and Christmas ads and decorations are already up) which holiday is next?What do you say we do what we're supposed to today get together with friends, family,and good food and enjoy the game.GO BEARS,P.s. Did anyone agree with Jason Whitlock's column in today sports page. Worst Superbowl ever...etc..etc..????

At least it was'nt a blowout that was over by halftime,thanks to the Bears defense playing their hearts out.

I may bet Sacked here but.

I don't usually watch much football because I don't see much since in two rows of 200-250 pound guys slam head on into each other and run the chance of brain damage or any other body injury just to run a foot ball 100 yards. It's not a sport or game. It's just who can have the biggest contract. Then you go get hurt and sit on the bench and watch the money roll in..

"However" I did enjoy this game because of the rain, the slippery ball, and the mistakes. You didn't know from one minute to the next who would have the ball. I actually watched the hole game.

As for the Half time show. To me that was the Biggest Waist of Money that I have ever seen. They should of just had a fireworks show and save the money for a real show. I guess Prince had words to his songs but All I could hear was a lot of squealing.

Oh well, I'm only one person. There were Thousands of fans there and Millions watching so they much be doing something right.

I was rooting for the Colts...

I was there, The weather sucked. I was waiting for someone to be electricuted during the halftime show. Would have been better if the weather was better. Especially for me after arriving on Friday, two days of heavy parting, I was drained by Sunday and just wasn't feeling the Super Bowl hipe.

The mother of all football games ROCKED!!!!
There is a Bears fan in our family who was so obnoxious about HIS team the whole 16 it just felt kinda good to see the Colt come-from-behind whupping!!!

Over the hill and going up the next one,and after reading many of the politically motivated blogs here I just want to say,an airplane can't fly with just one wing whether it be right wing or a left wing it will just fly in circles like a dog chasing its tail.
