I will start by saying this has been the most interesting election I have ever lived to see.   Although John McCain is according to the media a very nice person, he is in my opinion too old to be running for president in this crutial period in history.  United States needs a younger thinker to bring us up into this century.  The past 8 years has shown that our interests lie in war and not the economy that needs fixing.  If John McCain becomes president, I believe that we will never get out of the mess that this government has put is in.  The next presidency will spend the first 4 years trying to raise our economy.  I think health care and bringing our troops home should be a major priority.  The money we are spending on troops could be allocated here in security and cost a lot less.  We cannot and never will win a religious war.

It is time for a democratic government again.  Hillary is my choice for President, not because she is a women, but because she has vast experience.  She would be a great embassador for other countries because she has the experience to do so.  As for her being married to Bill, in my opinion is a plus.  They have been in the political realm for a very long time and have earned the respect they deserve.  Hillary's health care plan should be studied very long and hard.  We do need health care in the country.  I hope there comes a day that we do not have to pay for Dr.'s visits, hospital or surgeries.  Canada has this system, although it may not be perfect at least everyone is entitled to health care.  I would rather pay taxes for health care than pay for a war I do not and have not believed in from the beginning.  I say give Hillary a chance to prove that she is as strong as any man in government anywhere in the world.  She is our hope to bring United States into the 21st century with the other countries.  We do not stand alone, we are all a part of a bigger world that belongs to  God.

My problem with Hillary is basic: She never stops smiling. Ever. Check it out.

To me this indicates a phony on a very basic level and shows her to have questionable character. Plus, it seems to hurt her to smile. I don't trust anyone who always smiles.

And she can't keep her story straight. This woman speaks out of both sides of her mouth.
Take this NAFTA situation. She's pounding out her rhetoric concerning being against NAFTA but has told the Canadian government not to worry about what she's saying in her election. She's told Canada that she will continue to support NAFTA regardless to her stand against it in the election.
Who can trust someone who will do that?

Hillary is living in the Twilight Zone. She had no hand in bringing peace to N. Ireland and had no hand in opening borders in Kosovo. Both events were highly documented and Hillary's name never appeared as being a part of negotiations. Just because she was First Lady, doesn't mean she did anything.

Hillary has found a pretty nifty little game to play with the voters this week. I'm talking about all of these hints she's dropping about getting a chance to vote for both her and Obama. She's trying to tell you that maybe they'll be on the same ticket with her as the presidential candidate and Barack her vice president.

Hillary knows that there are a lot of Democrats out there who may favor Barack, but who would be quite satisfied if she gets the nomination. So she's sending them a signal: Vote for me, and I'll get Barack on the ticket with me. Then you can have both.

Not gonna happen. She's conning you. I don't think that there's any way in hell Hillary will bring Obama on board if she gets the nomination. She knows that with Obama in the administration it would be a constant reminder to everyone how likeable he is, and how terribly unlikable she is. She isn't going to want a vice president who stands any chance of upstaging her along the way.

The reality here is that in spite of the excitement of the past week ... Hillary is not going to be the Democrat nominee. The numbers just aren't there. The ONLY way Hillary can get this nomination is to use Democrat insiders – the so-called Super Delegates – to run an end around the primary voters and give the nomination to Clinton. Giving the nomination to Hillary would doom the Democrats to defeat in November. Black voters will know they've been robbed, and they'll suspect that the robbery was based on a feeling that a black candidate would have a tough time winning the election. When the black voters sit on their hands

When the black voters sit on their hands in large numbers in November – not feeling particularly threatened by McCain – Democrats take a drubbing.

Remember folks. Hillary Clinton is perhaps one of the most dishonest people in American politics not yet serving a prison sentence. Don't get conned.

This is her stupidest move by far. How can she approach Obama who has more delegates than she has and in all seriousness think he will condescend to being her VP? It's laughably stupid.
No one, in their right mind, would take that seriously. As a matter of fact, it's outrageous. So far the dems have spoken and they have given Obama the majority (howbeit a slim one) of the vote, why would Shrillary think he would take a back step to her.

Hillary is in the Twilight Zone.

I feel sorry for anyone that votes for Billary. It means that too many people in this country are forgetting what the first Clinton Whitehouse did to this country and our Military. Immigration needs to be a higher issue. More is spent on Welfare and healthcare on illegal immigrants than what's being spent on the war.
I want Obama in office because he knows how to play a clean campaign game and he knows how to bring people together. Billary is a hateful, "stereotypical" politician and this country needs change. I'm taking my chances on Obama. He deserves a chance a LOT more than Billary does. Who cares of she'll be "1st Woman Presiden" she doesn't deserve it and if she's the Role Model for future Women Candidates, I do not want to be part of it.
Get it together America, Billary isn't rigth for my Whitehouse. Obama deserves a chance.

"Hillary is my choice for President...because she has vast experience."

Would you care to enlighten me? Please tell me more about her "vast experience".

Well, she DOES have a great deal of experience pandering to the blacks. Did you catch her speaking at the black church in Alabama last summer? That was her shining moment, in my opinion.

Other than that...Hillaryous!

Quote by mantink: "Obama deserves a chance."

Reminds me of a John Lennon song...

"All we are saying...is give socialism a chance."

Has a nice ring to it!

I don't like any of them personally. i think it's a nice thought that Hillary wants everyone to have health care, but we can't even get Medicaid and Medicare to cover people NOW so making a national healthcare system doesn't seem like a task we should be taking on. (See my blog on my medicaid issue) We need to fix what we've already made a mess of before we go and make a bigger mess.

Also, who do you think is going to pay for this national health care? the taxpayers. don't we pay for enough?

lastly, didn't the Clintons run on a campaign when Bill was in office that they would fix the healthcare system, or implement a new one? and they never did. Hillary supposedly had all these great ideas about health care and never did a darn thing about it the whole time she was president...I mean uh when Bill was president.

Jumpy, that is absolutely correct!

Hillary championed national health care before Bill smoked his first cigar in the White House!
EIGHT YEARS LATER, the plan did not see the light of day.

She is obviously counting on younger voters, that do not remember this, so she can repeat her hopeless fantasy.
Will it work?

I dunno. I am hoping our young people are smarter than that.

I have said it before and iI will say it again. The LAST thing we need is another 4 years with a Clinton in office!!! That woman would not have enough common sense to put in a thimble if you tried to pour it out of her and the very thought of having her in the office for president scares the BLEEP out of me!!! What is she thinking? How does she really think she has the ability to run this country when she can't even run her own household. Besides who do you think was running this country when Bill was running around with Monica?? If that woman makes it in the office as president we are really DOOMED!!!!!!! All I can say is that we better hope and pray that GOD really does bless America or we've had it!!! What a big mouth she is!!

Really doesn't matter to me which Democrat gets it. I keep hearing all these arguments about how the Clinton era was so bad. Can someone explain to me what the Bush era has brought good to our country.

The two best jokes in the world and they start like this.

"A man goes into a bar..."
And
"Hillary for President"

Eriknami,

It was Clinton's inaction that allowed Osama to do what he did in 2001. Bill had Osama handed to him on a plate at least 3 times but refused to act on it. The rest as they say is history.

Simply put, even though I know this will make some of you rippin' mad and others laugh I believe this needs to be said and I have to "say" it because no one else is going to, God didn't intend for women to be the leader of their house much less the leader of a country. Hillary should not be President simply because of her gender due to the fact that it would be an abomination in God's eyes.

Now you can start your fueding and "hate comments" because I know they are coming!
