There are so many reasons that I can't even count.  But as this election gets closer and closer, you start to really remind me of why I stopped.  I am a the kind of person that want to see the good in every situation.  And yes, there is usually some kind of good.  But when I come and check out the blogs every few days or so, all I hear is the hate.  I don't hear anything positive.  You people make it seem as if I live in one of the most hateful cities in this country.  There are some points of me reading comments, I actually think about moving.  I don't want my children growing up with so called Christians that hate more then anyone else.  You are less tollerant then anyone, you don't research anything on your own and I believe that you all are as stubboren as a bull.  Even if you were to be proven wrong about something you would never admit it.  This site has went to hell.  And it is really sad.  I remember when we could have opposing views but not be so ignorant about it.  I'm not a liberal, but I guess that most of you are so far right that if you blink hard enough everyone is to you.  I'm actually moderate.  I am voting for Obama, and it has nothing to do with his race.  It has to do with he's ideas.  I'm not on here to debate with you so say what you must, but I've done my research.  I researched all  the candidates when the decided to run.  I didn't even like Obama at first.  I thought he was arrogant and smug.  LOL, well I figured out, maybe we need someone with confidence and intelligence to go along with it.  Experience, that's what you say that he lacks, well I guess that is yet to be seen.  If all you are going to do is spew your hateful crap, stay off of my page.  I don't mind comments but assuming that all black people are on welfare is so funny to me.  My family is biracial, Black/Mexican, and never have we received any kind of public assistance.  And in this time of recession, my family is doing just fine, not paycheck to paycheck.  In the line of work that I do, I actually do see what kind of people pay with foodstamps, and sorry to upset you, but they are not all black.  And they do not all look a certain way.  So for someone to say that black people are not going to vote because of the day of the month that it fall, is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever read.  That is racism at it's best.  I will tell you this, I will not let any of you deter me from believing that I live in a loving city.  I just pray to God that most of you stay at home in front of your computer, and don't even deal with the public at all.  I know this post has went all over the place, but everything I have read was all over the place and I wanted to address it.   Take what you want from what I have written and maybe one day you all will grow up.  This will probably be my last post on this site forever, and most of you probably won't care, because you haven't been around long enough to remember how it use to be.

Why does everyone refer to Obama as being black. Who makes the rules for biracial kids. Wasn't he raised by his mom?  Why do everything have to be one way or the other?  I really want to know what every's opinions are about this.  I know that by law, years ago you had to be black if you were biracial.  But now mothers do have a choice, besides isn't he as much white as he is black?

I've liked Dido since 1999, but she's only had two cd's come out.  I still play the both of them even though they are a little outdated.  She has a new cd to be released sometime later this year, and I can't wait.  Just wondering if anyone else listens to her music.  I don't know how popular she is here in the US, but I love her music and I think she sings form her heart.

Every spring I seemed to get ants in my house.  I just recently started noticing them in bathroom.  I don't know what to do to not get them.  I keep a fairly clean house so that's not the problem.  I'm always able to get rid of them by the June or so, but it is just irritating.  The same thing happens with spiders in my basement.  I keep telling my husband that we should have a proffesional pest control place come out, but  he's too cheap to try.  Does anyone else have this problem.  If so can you give some advice on how they even get into your house?

BTW.....I know this isn't breaking news or anything but I don't think there's a category on here for this topic.

My daughter thinks she's a cricket.  My friend thinks she's a dinosaur.  My sister thinks she's an ant.  This has been puzzling us for quite some time now.  Please everyone take a guess.
