As some of you may already know, I walked in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer back in 2005. I found out I was pregnant while I was in training for the walk. So, for the last two years I have been busy with my little one and her older sister.
Now I am ready to walk again. As before I needed to raise money for the foundation. I will be doing that again. Thanks to Jillian Reynolds I was able to raise the money and I had a great turn out. I still wish I could thank her personally to this day.
My purpose of this post is to get it out there I am raising this money for the cause. There are many reasons why you donate. Just look in your photos albums and possibly right next to you.
Breast Cancer has no prejudice. It is a killer for both women and men. Anyone can get it. For those who do it is devastating and the Avon Foundation works to help make a difference.
The processed from the fundraiser go to help promote awareness and provide services to help patients with the treatment they need and maybe can't afford it. It pays for mobile mammogram units used in many different communities to help women who find them selves to busy or not able to get the doctor for regular visits. It covers many different things including of course finding a cure.
Cancer isn't fun for anyone. Now I know there many different types of cancer. I choose to support Breast Cancer because my grandmother lives today with it. I want to make to a difference for me, my two daughters, my sister, my mother, and all of the others out there who are at risk.
I hope that this blog will help my fundraiser and if you go to my myspace page, www.myspace.com/savetheboobies2008 you can learn about me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I will soon be adding more info on how to donate to the cause on my behalf.
Thanks again
D.Amber

Last night just after 12:00am my mother called me from her home across from mine to tell me that the church Rialto Bible Fellowship was on fire. I didn't believe her so I checked it, is also across the street from our home.
Yes it was on fire. Really sad too, the church just recently renivated and the just refaced the entire church leaving it beautiful. It is a historic Rialto landmark and is now left empty from the flames. My mother and I and my sister who was a member of the church once watched it till they put the fire out. I did incounter a fellow citizen who was not very appriciative of the fire fighters that were working hard all night long. I watched from the time it started to the end, and when the front of the church started putting flames out they had to get there ladder up and in order to that safley to get to the flames close enough they had to cut a large piece of a tree. It took some time, and when they finally got up there to the front of the ladder they were able to douse the flames. That citizen said that it was the first time he seen them put water on the church all night. "That up set me because he obviously didn't see the back of church that was ingulfed in the flames just a few minutes prior to the the front.
I have posted some photos of the fire I took as well some video, just to show every one how hard the Rialto Fire Department really did work to try to save the Rialto Historic Landmark.
