So today at six thirty am I was preparing for surgery. I had to my right shoulder cleaned out. I guess it was full of debris. According to my mom there was a lot of Dr. KatzBLEEP inside the joint. There was a chance that Dr. Katz was going to do an open rotator cuff repair; thank god he didn’t. since he didn’t have to open my shoulder up, I only have to wear my sling for 24 hours. Though the bandages stay on till Monday. After the surgery I had to come out of anesthesia, “that was not fun” I didn’t get sick but I did cry and I think I was a little mean to the nurse. I remember them raising the oxygen to my nasal canulus because I didn’t want to breath, I was afraid to cough. I cried a lot when I was coming to. The surgery was over just a little after 8am and I didn’t leave the center till after 10am. I’m getting to rest here at my mom’s house for the day, its nice and quiet here. Thank you for taking your time to read about my morning. Oh yeah I haven’t had my prescriptions filled yet today. So I hope that the pain isn’t like they say it will be. My right hand feels so fat right now and like its covered in sand. I want a chili dog so bad right now. I’d like to thank Dr. Katz and the New Port Richey Surgery Center for the great job they did today, and I’d like to thank them for putting with my BLEEP.

Today is my 17th day of no smoking. Chantix has really helped with my choice to stop. My not smoking is what brought on this cough that I was so afraid of this morning. So anyone that wants to quit and are thinking to use Chantix, if you have any questions just ask, I can fill you in on my experience with this new aid.

Well I’d like to take a nap now so I’m going to go for now.

The Chasco parade was this weekend in New Port Richey. When I was a kid I loved the parade, but as I get older, I like it less every year. This year I liked it even less. I don’t believe it’s the parade that I like less; it’s the people that go to these parades. This year I went to the parade with my girlfriend and her children hoping to have a nice day. The parade started out nice, Jackie’s older daughter Alyssa “3” was catching beads and enjoying all the fresh sites. Then all of a sudden an old lady maybe in her late sixties decided she wanted beads too. At first the lady was behind us at the street gates and then she was all over me trying to grab from my hands the beads that I was catching for the three year old that stood beside me. At first I let her have the first few she grabbed from my hand. As the parade continued she grew more aggressive and more brazen. Towards the end of the parade this lady started to grab my wrists and try to take the beads from my fingers. From the time the parade started I was taking pictures with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. I wanted a gate seat as to get the best no press pictures I could. As the old women could tell I was taking pictures of the floats she would put her arm directly in front of my shot, I asked her repeatedly to wait till I took the picture or go back to her seat since I wasn’t blocking her view of the parade. Now I thought the parade should and would be for the kids more than the older crowds, but I guess I was wrong. Now I don’t see a problem with every type of person showing up for their town’s parades but when they see a family with children they should be respectful of that family and let them enjoy the show. No one should stop kids from having fun at a kid’s event.

This is Me and Jackie at the parade just before it started.

This is the city police starting the parade, and clearing the road.

Our city and county’s finest just standing around/ or are they keeping the streets clear; I’m not sure.

Saturn started things off by showing off their fun little cars.

This should have been every ones favorite float; it’s the mosquito control float. We all know that with out mosquito control living in Florida would be hell.

A pleasant site at the parade was one of my favorites, the world famous Ronald McDonald.

And there were plenty of nice costumes to look at from pirates and clowns to Uncle Sam and beauty queens.

The best of show goes to the Vets because they are the only real people in the parade.

Well this is the end of this blog and if you would like to see the rest of the pictures you can go to myspace.com/dippy254. Thank you for your time

So the toothache is doing much better now, I’m almost done with my antibiotics. Thank you, to everyone who cared enough to ask how I was, everyone else can bite me.

So I put up a Christmas tree this year. It’s the first Christmas tree I have put up in a long time. Old roommates stole my original stuff. The boxes of ornaments had in them not just cheep bulbs and lights, yet they mostly had family ornaments, like my brother, my sister and my first Christmas bulbs. Along with school made ones threw out the years. My Mom let me use them one year and they were stolen soon there after. So ever since then I haven’t really worried about the commercialization of Christmas. I just get a stalking for my dog and something for my Mom.

I put up the tree for a few reasons, the first was to get people to quit bitching at me over not having one for so long. The other is that there are kids in the house and I think they should get to have a tree. “just as long as they don’t touch it” lol.  I like the tree, it’s a cheep $29 pre lit white tree. Nothing special at all, and that is all that is needed. As most know I really don’t try to impress anyone at all. But if I have something I like I will tell people about it. Just like the scooter, it’s the biggest embarrassment to me but hey its cool too, and I like it. My tree isn’t an embarrassment though. I almost got one of those pre lit palm trees instead of the Christmas tree but I figured I would still catch a bunch of BLEEP of that, lol. So this years Christmas may be a little better than my others but hey its still just another day for the history books.

My bird Coco hates the tree, her food dish is near the tree and she wont ever sit by her food anymore. She will go over to it to eat and then back to the other side of the cage. Coco doesn’t like change.  We still have to get an angel for the top of the tree, but I think I’m just going to try to put the bird up there and have her as our angel. Wouldn’t that be great? Lol , I think so.

On to other things, the scooter is giving me BLEEP again. I’m on like my fifth battery and now I think I’m ready for anther one. My step dad is telling my there must be a short in it somewhere. But I think I’m just going to hold on to it for a little longer and try to get a real bike. That would be cool I think.

This weeks John Winters “my view” on the news really pissed me off. John every Friday does this “my view” thing on the evening news. Most of the time its about something that is worth talking about so I tune in for it. Well this week he decided the talk about presidential candidates and he left out the most important one, RON PAUL. I can’t believe you John!!! I wrote him a comment on his blog about my thoughts on his message. Ron Paul may not be leading the poles but he is the one the press needs to be talking about, not all these money hungry, fake BLEEP people that are trying to run for the presidential seat. In just a few day Ron Paul is going the show this country that the people want change. The 16th will be the day that will go down in history twice. First it’s the anniversary of the Boston Tea party, second because Ron Paul and the press are going to know how much of the American really wants him to lead us. The money raised on the 16th will help Ron Paul bypass all the chicken BLEEP news companies with the green he’ll have in his pocket. And maybe Ron Paul’s name will be everywhere. So that all can know a change can happen to this country; a change for the better.

http://www2.tbo.com/content/2007/oct/24/task-force-he
ar-fireworks-ban-debate/

The above link is to TBO.com. This article talks about the further ban on fire works.

We have been using fireworks since before our independence from Britain and now all of a sudden people are afraid of them. Fireworks are a part of our culture here in the U.S. and a round the world. But people want to change whose hands are allowed to touch them. There now is even a task force that will help to control our rights to purchase what we want. This is just plain crazy, and should be stopped.

Are most fire works dangerous? Of course they are, that's why we use them with caution. More people die every year smoking than playing with fire works; street sweepers clean up more cigarette butts every year than firework casings. There are so many people complaining about the fireworks it makes me sick. Have they forgotten how to enjoy themselves? My dog every year is scared to death of the firework shows that happen around town, but guess what she is a dog and though I love her to death I would never complain about the fireworks. If a firework landed on my house and some how burned it down I would be sad but I would not try and stop fire works next year, people shouldn't be trying to shelter others from harm, give them a warning and say its not safe but don't try to stop them, and for our government to say "yeah there are a few people who don't like 'em so lets punish everyone by totally stopping fire works, well we will let them still use sparklers and smoke bombs" are you flicking kidding me. The loophole in our law has been a godsend and should be kept. To limit the fireworks to just licensed people is just another way of being controlled.

Neighbor hood firework shows bring together streets of a neighbor hood; they let people interact when normally they never even wave at each other. We need more today than ever before to get to know who we live near. We need human interaction, and I don't think a show down at the mall is the answer. You can set up a neighbor hood bar-b-q and no one will show, but on the fourth of July you set up a fire work show with a few of the neighbors and everyone show up for the fun.

In a June 27 news release, the Seattle Police Department's (SPD)Media Relations Unit noted that in 2003 and 2004, an average of 9,650 people were treated in U.S. hospital emergency rooms for injuries associated with fireworks. Of the 2004 injuries, 85 percent were caused by fireworks that federal regulations permit consumers to use.

A normal emergency room visit is around $500. That hospital made some money off those people who didn't play smart with their toys. Injury is an economical pleasure in some ways. A lot of you probably don't like to hear that but its true.

But facts like these where so many people were injured per year is causing arguments to gain strength, and not helping people who enjoy our freedoms.

If we could ban everything that was harmful to us, this world would be a total mess, well at least America would be. If the loopholes are fixed and fireworks are truly no longer allowed then they should really start to go to hospitals and pull statistics on what is harmful. Then they should start to ban those harmful things like horseback ridding, swimming, campfires, fishing, playing frisbee, smoking, drinking and so on. Don't shelter us please, the news does that enough.

Fireworks scare horses, of course they do but I don't hear the horse tracks complaining. I only hear bitter people complaining, probably the people who don't want to get to know the neighbors, or find ways to reason with them. People who didn't get invited to firework shows as kids and blame everyone else for it.

Fireworks have injured me in the past. It was nothing that was going to last a life time but still I was stupid and I paid the penalty for it, now I play smarter and I enjoy myself. These lawmakers need to start telling the crybabies of America to shut the hell up and get over them selves. If your neighbor is setting off fireworks and you don't like it, well go out their and join them, find a way to have a little fun and instead of complaining.

Now my argument may not be well put together and a little disorganized, I apologize for that, this is a matter that really gets under my skin and I would ratter smack people around than try to reason with them on this.
