first thing that comes to mind...ABOUT FLIPPIN TIME !!!

keep it comin! they say they "have" to raise the rates to compensate for all the terrible losses they have had to pay out...yet their PROFITS are outrageous!!

now someone explain that to me..if you raise our rates and you keep the "billions" for "your" profit..where is your loss to begin with? in your profit margin?

you know good and well,GOD forbid ,florida gets nailed with a hurricane hit the first thing out of their mouths will be "we have to raise your premiums again..we have no money" what a load of BLEEP!

every single one of them are liars and thieves! something drastic must be done. and i for one..LOVE THE RULING AGAINST ALLSTATE!!!

and more to come i say ! nail every one of them that are making these huge profits off of us!!

this is something that should have been down years ago! they will only listen when their precious profit margin is affected!

i say , you dont want to write homeowners policies in florida..you want to drop homeowners in florida..then you dont do any business in florida at all. GET OUT!

and a closing remark...charlie crist..DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN TALK!!  you have done NOTHING but talk since you got into office..dont get too comfortable there. i voted for you and i plan on voting you out!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Here here...How about the health insurance, and the doctors who inflate the cost of a visit. Almost need a loan if you get sick..

I have never been comfortable with the cozy relationship between Tallahassee and the insurance industry. It has only recently come to the attention of the public at large because of huge premium increases. What about reinstating the P.I.P. vehicle insurance debacle? We haven't heard much about that lately.

So far as Crist is concerned, I am indifferent. However, has any preceeding governor made similar efforts that you know about?

It's about time that the state went after AllState. I have heard horror stories of people paying for insurance for years only to make a small claim, have to argue to get the claim paid, and then get cancelled! During the devasting hurricane seasons a few years ago, AllState still made money! Over the years since they were established, 1931, they have made billions!

I know of one elderly couple who paid Allstate for over 40 years... made one small claim, searched for the cheapest repairs... got an argument from AllState on the claim... which was eventually paid, and were then cancelled! Over that 40 years they had paid AllState enough money to equal the value of the home.

A suggestion to everyone... put the money you would pay any insurance company into a savings account... You will have the money to pay for any small problems, and if you don't have any for years, you will have the money to pay for major repairs.

Its like who can you trust anymore. From insurance to Govenor to President. It's all a big mess for the whole economy. God is the only one who can change things at this point.

Allstate has always cheated the claimant since they have offered auto insurance.
At our dealershship we used to dread anyone coming in with Allstate insurance, we were always caught between the customer and the adjuster, the only way you could get any satisfaction was to threaten them with a lawyer.
Hell of away to do business.

Thrblindmce, Its not the doctor that sets the price when you have health insurance its the insurance company.
