i saw the video.i watched the girls  faces.this was planned from the get go. we females are not a stupid species.i raised 4 daughters who are now adults with the oldest being 33 and the youngest being 26. i am quite aware of what is out there in todays world.and for the most part i will say the parents do play a very active role in what and who their children become, not fully but for the most part.if children are not raised with the proper guidance and responsibility along with good old fashion dicipline then God help us as a society!i grew up as a teenager in the 70's,i thought that was a hard world.its nothing compared to todays world.if you are growing to reproduce then take responsibility for your children.do not send trash out into society! my daughters were raised with "for every action there is a re action", there are consequences for everything you say or do.and dont you ever call me if you are arrested, lose  my number! thankfully my girls were never arrested.did they ever make bad choices, yes they did.and they had to face it,deal with the consequences and learn from it.as long as there is breath in my body i will not accept anything less from them or my grandchildren.what actually bothered me more than seeing that horrible attack on that girl was mrs. nichols defending her "child"! thats where most of the problems lie today in society..making excuses, justifying wrongs. call it what it is ! horrible! a crime! dont you defend your child for what she has done..whats wrong with you? this is why she is the way she is ,because she has been excused all these years for her choices in life.do i think they should be tried as adults..im not sure abt that without proper knowledge of their backgrounds.have they been in trouble before?on any level?but by no uncertian terms they need to be punished severely for what they chose to do.they planned it,they acted out, they even video taped it.now why shouldnt they be held accountable for their actions? and parents of the crimminals..wake up! see your children for who and what they are! stop living in denial or worse with your head in the sand! defending your child for the horror they have done makes you worse then them!

I love you. You are what the kids call "Old School". check out my blog. They have no reason to think differently. but our old school mentality teaches them that we love them and we will not put up with their BS because we were properly disciplined! best wishes SHIRT abc

Could not agree more!!!!! They knew what they were doing and so did Mercedes when she invited Tori over for springbreak. I can see it - having breakfast and dinner with the grandma, hanging out watching tv, and then... call the girls and lets beat her up... SICK very very SICK. This girl Mercedes is NOT innocent, she lured that girl to the house! If it was not for her, none of this would have happened!!! And her MOTHER, who doesn't even raise her, is on TV BLAMING Tori "she should have been able to back it up" and "the video isn't that bad- they were hitting her only one at a time".... OH MY GOD-PRAY FOR THIS WOMEN!!! This is why Mercedes is a mess... She has a role model like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This women is now trying to cash in on this with the DR Phil show.... SICK SICK!!! She is as "FAME" hungry as the rest of them and should be in jail right along with them!!!!

I am the mother of two boys and the oldest is now 24. Thank the good Lord he has never been in jail and never been arrested for anything. He knew that there would be some serious action taken against him if he EVER did anything that he was told not to do. It wasn't easy raising a teenage boy in the 80's but if you teach them right from wrong and stick to what you say they know you mean business. He was by no means a perfect boy , but he never tried to beat the BLEEP out of someone just because he thought they said something about him. How childish is this anyway? Are they so immature that they can't handle what people say about them. What do they think that people are saying about them now? If everybody out there jumped out of their car everytime someone cut them off, went to slow, flipped them off or said something what kind of world would we be in ? Whats the point anyway? Remember that old saying about sticks and stones? It's obvious they were to childish to know what it means anyway. They might be 16-18 years old but they act like 6 and 8 years old. I know. I used to teach kindergarten and I raised two boys myself.HOPE THEY SIT IN JAIL FOR A WHILE FOR THIS!!! We sure don't need this kind of violent people out in society. Can you imagine pissing one of them off in a car?!! We'd be dead!!!!

well i think the problem with todays youth is there is no consequences for their actions..it is dismissed, excused and justified. and that woman PROVED it when she opened her mouth blaming the victim!these girls and all kids need to know and understand what their parents may ignore, accept and excuse will NOT be done so in the real world ! the parents hold alot of responsibility in raising a child.i took it upon myself to do the very best i could to bring my daughters into the real world as an asset not a liability.sadly to say i did not see one bit of remorse on any of the teens or the parents, just attutudes and excuses.sickening isnt it?!
