My question is:  Before and after the Clinton era we had Republicans.  What was so much better from them than the Clintons.  War and recession?  I am registered independent.  I vote for the candidate not for the party.  I can't see John McCain doing anything much different than Bush.  And that's OBVIOUSLY not working.  Not economy or foreign relations.  Just my opinion,  but do not see too many opinions arguing that except that Hillary tells lies.  NEWSFLASH:: I don't know a politician that doesn't, especially to be elected President.  If you think McCain or Obama, the other frontrunners, don't lie, you are naive.  I honestly don't know enough about Obama to argue for him, he might be wonderful.  I do know the Clinton platform and don't see what great harm it could do, if not just for lack of a better candidate.  I am not 100% certain on who I would vote for so would like to hear other peoples opinion.

Listen I don't know much but the 90's under Clinton sucked for me. Under George Bush i have made more money in the past 4 years then I have in the past 20 years. I bought my first house and yes I did have a ballon type mortgage but I refienced to a fix before the Arm raised. Yes now the economy is getting worse but I have yet to see any brokers doing high dives off the Empire State Building.
I am no fan of John McCain but I will take him with his tax breaks to keep the job market rather then a welfare state with high taxes. No thank you I will pass on Hillary Clinton and Obama.

What Hillary Clinton wants you to forget, All verifiable and you want her for President!!!!

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her 'record,' which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady or co-president' and her seven years in the Senate. Here is a reminder of what that record includes:

(And in the next election, her party lost control As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would 'demonize 'anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party.
Of both the House and Senate.)

Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations (Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood) were forced to withdraw their names from consideration, and then she chose Janet Reno. Bill himself has since described Janet Reno as 'my worst mistake.'

Hillary recommended Lani Guanier for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier's radical views became known, her name had to be withdrawn.

Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Hillary also recommended a close friend of th

I defineitely haven't forgot. But again what have the Republicans done better. I'd rather spend 13 million trying to do something for Americans rather than trillions for Iraqis. My point exactly is I can name many faults of Hillarys. But still with the faults I don't see a better candidate. As far as McCains tax cuts do you think they will offset the war for a hundred more years like Mcain thinks.

Not that I am in favor of everything happening in Iraq how soon we forget Bosnia and why Clinton sent troops there. If you remember there was a tyrant commiting genocide on innocent people that could not defend themselves and we are still there today.

I didn't forget Bosnia. But Bosnia we are not spending trillions of dollars, to put us in recession, killing thousands of our troops. I'm all for helping other countries, after ours. Still not hearing any real arguments, other than Hillary lies. Of course I keep forgeting Republicans don't.

Just about every politican lies soon as they put their mouth in motion. For the most part I have seen through the years the democrats like to increase taxes and put it into programs such as welfare, socailized health care,or anything else to make people more dependent on government or to be more involved in your day to day life than need be....aka socialisum. They beleive everyone should have a piece of what the next guy works his butt off to acheive....aka its not fair you have that and I dont even if you did not work to get it.Republicans cut taxes and give you more money in your pocket to eventually return to the economy via the purchase of goods. They seem to stay more out of your day to day life and let you stand on your own two feet. Why not let people that wish to invest their social security money in the free market where it could make more money (Capitalisum) instead of letting the government tell you what can get out of it (Socialisum)?? And by the way anywhere that we have troops deployed we are spending milloins of dollars be it at war time or not. They did a study on the money spent on wars such WW2 and Veitnam and compared economic times, the results were that the war in Iraq is realativly CHEAP war. This was posted on MSN the other day so dont shoot the messanger.

This post should be a real heat getter anyway I can feel it so bring it on...... :-p

You are right shorty, that is why im independent. Most likely democrat this election, but not always. Your question of social security and the free market is a good one. Good enough I think of it's own blog. As a licensed life and health ins. agent with a securities license, from my own experiences with people, I believe that a good many people in America would not have anything left if they had control. As I said before good question. Bush Sr. wrote a book. If you haven't read it, it is worth reading. He explained why he did not invade Baghdad. He was a smart Rep. He was 100% correct and it's happening now. Jr should have taken his advice. CNN a couple nights ago did a comparison of speeches given by McCain this election, and Bush last election. They were so alike it would make me vote for the TERMINATOR

I have to agree with you on certain points; I have posted that when our shores are threatened that’s when we should react, we have been promised the world by other Middle Eastern countries (Oil) when we attacked Iraq but that promise was never fulfilled; But that is par for the Middle East; they have never kept their promises when they have requested assistance from another country to fight their wars( ie Suez Canal issue) and they never will, It’s seems to be a part of their makeup and they will never change.

President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq . Bush's mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not.

Cannot blame Bush for everything, his signature goes on the bill but congress is the factor in the majority of cases and should be held liable for the state of this country and its economy; they have too much unchecked power, someone independent should over see Congress and have the power to stop them adding billions of dollars to reasonable requests for projects to do someone a favor so that politician will look good in his/her state. This has to stop; so there will be some control over the economy and unwarrented spending.

As far as the Clinton’s are concerned, niether one of them have any credability, and its been proven; she has stated that she has been involved with peace project throught the world and she hasn’t, if she is lying now; what is she going to be like if she became president, there is a lot of hidden adjenders th

there is a lot of hidden adjenders this woman is hiding in waiting, like a fox guarding the chicken pen.

Now McCain, who knows? That’s the question everyone is asking; we need a president with military disapline that leaves McCain! we don’t have time to train a new president
there is’nt any trusted Ex President or Vice President (other than an aged ex Pres Bush) that can pull us out of this delemar that we are in at this moment.

So best foot forward and hope for the best that we are not sold to the highest bidder.

Thanks you for the opportunity to air my opinion….

Please the name of Bush Sr's book. Thanks

Every time Hillary Clinton opens her mouth lies come out. I guess she has a little book numbered with each lie so she can keep up with which one she told that day. It would be awfully hard to keep all them straight without some kind of system. By now she is proably on number 5000 or so. That would be volume number 5 I guess. If you can't believe any thing she says while she's running for president can you imagine how bad it would be if she were president? We'd have countries we never had problems with before trying to come over here to blow us up because of her big mouth and her lies. Just what we need right. Another war so we can lose even more Americans. If she's so worried about what is going on over there then by golly she can go over there and find a gun. Lets see how much gunfire she has to dodge then. Our soldiers can always use another target. Lets see how fast she can run this time. just like before right?

She doesn't have any such little book Janice, and that is why she cannot rememember how many times she has dodged snipers in her travels.

When called upon it however, she will say: "Lighten up guys!" (to the media)

She is used to having them under her control.

I think that gift is running out though............

Well, by golly, where is Bush and his gun. Cheney and Mcain also. If not Hillary or Obama then it will be McCain. He agrees with THE FOOL in office now, what is he going to do. He doesn't have to go there to find a gun, I will give him one.
