Impeach Nancy Palosi

It seems Nancy Palosi has a great plan in action, it entails keeping the vote for drilling off the floor until after the election when she believes there will be enough democrats elected to prevent drilling for our own oil. She does not care what the people of the United States Of American want. It boils down to what she and her party wants. We do not matter in the grand scheme of the democratic party. It is a great plan and it is working so far.

Even if President Bush called an emergancy congress back she could just close it right back down without a vote ever going before the congress. Palosi not only is against the Iraq war but she wants us out of Afganistan and she wants us all to sit down and put on a happy face on as we get disarmed and destroyed. She has behaved in a mannor unbecoming to a lady much less the speaker of the house with her temper tantrums and her refusal to allow votes on anything she does not approve of.

Bush may not be the best president in our history but Palosi is the worse person to run congress in the history of mankind or womankind. She has made sure our nation will come to a stand still when she dictates it as it has done now. She has broken the rules laid out for the speaker of the house and she flat does not care, she is a democrat so she is entitled to act and do anything she so chooses and to heck with what is best for our nation.

Palosi's idea is to save the world but destroy us while doing it. Al Gore dismantled our nuclear plants programs which would of freed up our natural gas for other uses and the dems plan on keeping it that way. They want us to invest trillions on so called "clean"  energy programs but do not tell you that ethinal is just as polutant as oil products, that the hybreds will cost thousands to keep on the road by the owners, and to install solar panels will cost over $6,000 a panel and you need several per home to actually save on electric. And Al gore will make more millions off us.

In the mean time they keep tooting the thousands of acres the oil companies have to drill on but omited that the oil companies spent $1.25 trillion trying to find oil there and gave it up. So we have the facts and they democrats do too yet they do not care. As Obama and Nancy think that $10.00 a gallon for gas is a great idea and will bring our country to it's knees. That also explains why they want to create a civil army to control the citizens of our country. They fear we might just go after them.

I do not want to hear it was republicans that got us here as the democrats are now in power and have done nothing, not a thing to correct the mess we are in. In fact they have contributed to the mess and plan on creating a bigger one.

So just impeach Palosi and DO NOT vote another insane democrat into congress.

The American Lung Association endorses the use of ethanol because it is LESS polluting. Except for that fact I agree fully with and share your anger towards Nancy Pelosi.

In an interview regarding her refusal to allow the issue of lifting the ban on drilling to come to a vote, Polosi said, “we have a planet to save.” Excuse me, but I don’t recall her being elected as speaker of the planet. Let’s worry about the US first and the planet second.

It is a little strange to me that all the finger pointing continues to go to the Dems. Thugh I do agree with the majority of the post..I believe the Republicans are to blame too. This problem has been growing for years and the Republicans have done just as little as the Dems. Both parties need to pull their heads out of their a** and work together and get something done.

Wonder what the constituents in her region think of her record on the issues.

Disagreeing with her policies aren't grounds for impeachment.

For Pete’s sake people, off shore drilling IS NOT going to solve our energy problem. It is ONLY going to farther destroy our environment. Then what will our children have to enjoy? The white house is sitting on millions of gallons of oil that could have an immediate impact on the price of gas within 2 weeks, but they refuse to let the oil flow. We have an oilman in office as our President, he laughs at you vulnerable “I believe everything that they tell me” infidels as he and his cronies get richer and richer. Off shore drilling will do NOTHING but make people richer, and destroy our beautiful country. HS Palosi is trying to get a bill established that will demand more options than just off shore drilling, alternative options other than fossil fuel, which will make impact for our country and children within the same time off shore drilling will make an impact on our oil prices. . . in about 3-5 years! She is trying to protect our country from idiots who have no future vision for our country- only for themselves!

Offshore drill and on shore drilling will give us cheaper gas until we figure out how to use other options and save billions a year for imported gas. It will open jobs up for thousands of people, which helps the ecconomy, and until we do find RENEWABLE energy sources we need to use everything we have. As for her policies, it isn not her policies I object to, it is her thinking she has the right to decided for the whole country what we need. She is not God, and she was elected by the people to represent them not her and her tree hugging idealist views. I agree we need to save the earth but not at the expence of the American people.

But if every vehicle in the United States ran on fuel made primarily from ethanol instead of pure gasoline, the number of respiratory-related deaths and hospitalizations likely would increase, according to a new study by Stanford University atmospheric scientist Mark Z. Jacobson. His findings are published in the April 18 online edition of the journal Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T).

By the way it is a well known fact that if you cull a forest of its older trees and clear the dead ones out you help prevent the fires now burning rampent in California. Culling does not mean clearing out a forest of all it's trees it means getting the old and dying out to allow the younger healther ones to grow. Tree huggers believe that culling is a crime so you have major forest fires. I live on land where we cull and allow the younger trees to grow as we remove the older deseased and dying. We have had trees hit by lightening and have yet to have a real fire. Just one tree because the trees are young and green.

The U.S. has more oil and oil shale under is't own soil to supply out demand and the increase for demand for the next 200+ years. Also, drilling for oil does not destroy the enviroment one bit.

Alternative fuels can be the answer one day, they have even found how to make salt water burn, BUT those solutions are not now. Those solutions are 10+ years off if not 20 to the point where we can start to be less dependent on oil.

Yes, I blame the democrats because they have blocked all attempts to make us less dependent on other countries for oil over the past 16 years. We are being held prisoner by enviromental whackos who only represent 1% of our population but who have imposed their will on the rest of us.

Releasing our oil reserves is the cry of every short sighted person in America. If gas prices topped $3 last year, $4 this year, what do you think they will do next year??

Conflict with Iran is going to happen and when it does then the price of oil will skyrocket even higher then it has and then MIGHT be the time to release some of our oil reserves but only maybe. If we have not released ANWAR or offshore drilling by that time then our butts will be in the sling.

Not to mention that China is drilling oil off of our florida coast but U.S. companies are not allowed to drill within 150 miles of our own coastlines.

So now in addition to buying everything else made in china, now we have to buy oil that we should have been allowed to drill for in the first place.

And Pelosi has assured that no vote on oil will make it to the floor and has further told fellow democrats that they can voice their opinion that they want to drill for oil if it will help them win re-election because they are safe from a vote taking place.

Pelosi is definitely someone who does not care about solving any problems. She is a dictator with hor own agenda, one that does not include you and I in any way. She cares only about boosting her own career and opinion (as she sees it).

I wholeheartedly support her impeachment and get someone in there who can do what is best for the country, not just themselves.

What's wrong with $4, $5 or $8 a gallon gasoline?
Americans had the chance to learn about conservation in the 70's, but didn't. Now SUV's rule the road - boo hoo.
Currently, if you buy 16oz bottled water by the case, you're spending about $6.00 per gallon. Why is a luxury item (gas) cheaper than a necessity?
Priorities people.

Bush's Approval Rating = 32%
Congress's Approval Rating = 17%

Because if you work at minumim wage your entire pay will be for gas. Not to mention the ethinal pollutes more than gas so globale warming is not why we should use it, and when you say we, how many inventions and ideas have you had? I, personally haven't got the brain poer to figure out how to solve our problems and the ideas that have come out were bought and shelfed where they can not be used. So until there are sound working forms we need to stop buying from other countries and open the oil drilling here not only for oil but the jobs and the econmy that jobs create. It is called common sense. You do what you need to until you figure out the solution. Bet congress has dropped lower now.

Why is it environmental unsafe for the US to drill off our shores, but not for China or a host of other countries whose drilling methods we have no control over? Someone is going to go after that oil, it’s just a question of who. So for those environmentalist who think they are going to save our beaches, I have a question. Would you rather have a US company regulated by the US doing the drilling, or a company you can’t regulate?

To n2dep2care, we already do some off-shore drilling, and it hasn’t destroyed our country yet. Iran has threatened to use oil as a weapon and is pushing for a showdown. If the situation with Iran goes ballistic, as it may well do, you’ll be very thankful we have those oil reserves. One other point. We do not control the planet. It has been that arrogant way of thinking that has caused us problems in our foreign affairs. We need to take care of our own.

I can not understand why it is more important to let others drill for oil and we give them, as I now have learned, over 900 billion of our money every year and all the jobs and balance their economy while we go jobless and sink deeper in debt to China and other nations. Wake up America!!!

I am a reformed democrat now republican and mother of 5, have 10 grandchildren and one greatgrand child. I have lived all over the US and love to sit on docks and fish. Waiting for the big one. I love my family and a good joke, reading and painting. My siblings all think I need to be taken care of as do my children and I'm the oldest so don't know why. I watch Fox 4 News because you are about the fairest all around on T.V.
