We hear of so much violence in the news.  Babies being beaten or killed, pregnant women murdered, disputes settled with guns.  What is wrong with the world?  I am blessed to live in a community with very little violence.  My children were not raised around hateful, self righteous people.  It makes me sad to think of how the world will be for my future grandkids.

Law abiding citizens get fed up.  Is there a solution to all this??  If there is, I have no idea what it would be.

The only answer for this world is God

I grew up In Cleveland and It was'nt too bad, at least when we would fight It was with fists not guns or knives.
Now that I live In the country with fewer people, crime still happens but unless It's killings you don't hear about It.
P.S. almost forgot everyone In the country owns a shotgun

Actually there are plenty of answers besides God. I think the best move is to not watch the news, "if it bleeds it leads" ya know.

god has been taking out of everything and everywhere.
the gun laws have changed and people are the ones doing the killing, not the guns.
yes it is very sad. these babies are being killed, sad situtation. like that 8 month old baby, the st. clair mom, what that man even the father? how could a woman carry a baby for nine months then let some man who does not even have anything do with their lives and not even the father. crazy. my baby could not be left with any man who is not the father.
crazy. the mom's need to be punished just as well as the man. she left her baby in the hands of someone she did not even know could do this to her child. have better judgement.

I don't know if it was THE biggest toxic waste site. I'm sure we have those kind of issues everywhere. I was born and raised in Cleveland. Lived on the west side until I was about 23 yrs old. I'm not downing your community. Teresa Andrews was from Ravenna, she was killed and her baby cut out of her. So we do have violence around here sometimes. I feel blessed that I can enjoy my surroundings every day. Why do you sound so defensive?

Did anyone hear the breaking news today? It's on the front page. Again more sickening violence. Two kids were shot, condition not known. I guess they were in a park when teenage boys drove up, and something about an argument, and they shot at the kids! I think they took off, because as of yet, no arrests have been made. What the hell is going on here? All of a sudden, so much violence happeneng. It just seems that after the Jessie Davis tragedy, there seemed to be so much crap going on, one after the other. That's the way it seems to me. This world is terrible anymore, I don't know how anyone could raise kids in such violent times. I have 1 23 year old son, and I still worry about him in this crazy world. This story is awful. Two innocent kids, shot by teenage punks. Hope they find them and hang them!!!!!

The kids are alive in the hospital, I think Metro. They got caught in the line of fire I think over teenagers arguing. Why does everyone think shooting is the answer? They knew the kids were there, that's what's so sad. The kids are 2 and 6 years old. I'm just waiting for the next breaking news of more violence, sad to say, but that's the way it's been all week!

Kids are trying to raise kids...not a good thing..to many single parents homes..No one want to be married and their is too many divorces..Men and women are trying to raise other people children...not good..to many families leave God out of their lives..Anyone that would sit and read the bible everyday could in no way commit these crimes..

People who sit down everyday and read the Bible, reguarly commit heinous crimes. Sometimes they even use the Bible to justify their crimes.

They must not believe what it says...because it says thou shall not kill (murder) I like to know where these people are that you are talking about, they must live in Cleveland..

asnapper - quit mocking Cleveland just because you don't live in the city. I live in a very nice neighborhood in Cleveland and I don't appreciate you acting like Cleveland is Sodom and Gomorah. Most of us Clevelanders are law abiding citizens. Only a small percentage are bad. Whatever suburb you live in I'm sure is not crime free, either. Cleveland has a much larger population than the smaller suburbs, therefore we have a higher percentage of crime. No city is perfect.
And I can't take you seriously about what the Bible says about killing, because in the same sentence you say death penalty and war is okay!

Yes, my family too. Both my daughters bought houses in Cleveland, my mom and my sister and brother all live in Cleveland too. We all live in different neighborhoods and they are all generally nice neighborhoods with no problems.

I have thought about it. But if you are interested in getting one soon, I could probably hook you up with a breeder.

oops, used my husband's screen name there. LOL
My son's girlfriend breeds pygmys, and the price isn't too bad, depending on what you want. I like wethers. They are usualy more friendly and less expensive.

I really do not know too much about them but have always wanted one. My uncle had one. It was a great little pet. Ever since then I fell in love with them. This one was real small. I think they have the horns taken off or they are real short. Is that for both males and females? I would like to get a gentle small female. Do they get spayed? I am really interested in one. If you could e-mail me at klh1886@aol.com I'd really appreciate it. Also are they like horses where you have to get there hooves clipped? How does the pricing work? I'd like all the info you can spare. Thank you. Kym

I am a homemaker. I hope to start breeding goats in the spring. I have 2 alpines, 1 nigerian dwarf, 1 pygmy, and on mix goat. My children are grown, so now my goats are my "kids".
