I read a blog about boycotting Tower City for banning teenagers.  At the same time we are always hearing on the news about another toy recall.  That is what needs boycotted.  We all have things in our home made in China.  Now, when I shop I look for things made in the USA.  It's not that easy, but with some online research you can find what you want.  Yes, it costs more, but in my opinion I would rather pay more than take a risk with my child's safety.

One thing that gets me is at some of the Pet Stores they have things like Dog Chew Bones that have an American Flag.At first glance you see the flag and may assume that with the American Flag and a name something like AmericanXXX (dont' remember the specific name)it was acutally made here. Then you look really close on the back in small print and find out it was made in Argentina, Guam or somewhere else.

Or something says "Made in America" but packaged in XXX. So we make it here and send it overseas to be packaged, so they can send it back to us to sell. I've seen that before as well.

I want items Made in America and Packaged in America. I don't think that's asking too much.

I am a homemaker. I hope to start breeding goats in the spring. I have 2 alpines, 1 nigerian dwarf, 1 pygmy, and on mix goat. My children are grown, so now my goats are my "kids".
