Okay, so now we cannot fall back on the old stand by of an antennae to recieve broadcasts on our televisions.  I didn't have a problem with that until today.

It's NOT windy, raining, snowing, or any other adverse weather, yet my cable is freezing up and jumping on the screen.  What the heck is going on?  Is this what we have to look forward to.  Wonderful, HDTV that freezes up on a whim??  I will pay my regular bill, will Time Warner refund some of my money for the time when thier service isn't coming through.  I don't think so.  Sometimes technology is NOT your friend.  GRRRR.

Just needed to vent about this.

Do you REMEMBER what we were told about having cable not long ago? Remember this, since you pay for this TV service, "NO COMMERCIALS"! Do you remember. All I have now is commercials, Infomercials, and repeat the same shows and movies day after day, month after month. This is B/S. My opinion.

I agree.
When cable first came out I was a teen. I remember watching "Deer Hunter" on a commercial free channel.
Now YEARS later, it's just one commercial after another. And if you get HBO, Showtime, or any of those, you're right-they repeat the same thing over and over.
We realy are getting ripped off!!

It's not just the "garbage" on cable it's also the fact that there is more or less of a "monopoly" on servers...how many companies are there besides Warner Cable around here? My guess is not too many!

I think they are trying to squeese more money from us. I still use my antenna- it's free. so that makes them mad.

I am glad someone else has the complaint about time warner. My cable has been freezing up almost everyday. I thought it was my dvr box from them and it happens on all my three tvs. I get a little ticked off.

Plus what about the same shows that are playing all the time. Almost every channel shows the same shows. I know with the writer strike there has not been any new shows, yet if a movie is playing on TBS it will show on Lifetime some time that same day. I pay a lot for my cable and it stinks. I pay a little more also because of the internet. I like the cable internet better than dsl.
