The problem isn't the judges--it's the law. The judges have to abide by what the law says. The laws need to be changed.

To start with, all a person has to do is obtain an attorney. They get the charges reduced to reckless op instead of DUI and there you go. You can get arrested for DUI but if you pay a lawyer 500 bucks, he or she will get you off the charge. I know, a family member does it all the time. It is how the law works. There are many judges that will be lienient with people because they have to work and make a living. So they get a work permit. The drunk drinks on his/her way home from work. There you go. If they get their car impounded or loose their plates, the drunk just goes and borrows someone elses car or just drives another car that they personally own. We have one of those types of people in our family (who I am ashamed of). He has had more accidents than I can count. Lucky he hasn't killed himself or worse yet an innocent person driving/riding down the road. These lawyers thrive on DUI money.

Its not only problem for adults underager drinkers are getting just as bad alot of drunks how there are underage drinkers and the only reason none of them been stopped for suspsion is because their record is private so they get a free ride home and even if they hurt somebody they get tried in family court not crimal Two of my best friends were killed by drunk drivers one of them being my ex who was 8 1/2 months preg at the time she and her boyfriend at the time and two of her friends mind this all the kids were underage one of the boy were 14 and the other 17 she and her boyfriend both 18 they were all drunk went to fast down a hill and missed a turn slammed into a tree she stayed alive long enough to save the baby whom i am taking care of now her boyfriend was just giving probation and his LC taken away for 5 years this is a blog i wrote a long time ago with a bunch of fact and figures on underage drinking I cant stand people who drink and drive i'm sure some of you drink Im sure you have driven afterwards weather you just had one shot of whiskey or 200 the point is you drove with that in your system just 3 shots will put you over the legal limit to drink and drive or you were in the car with someone who has been drinking believe me I know I know all about those drunk driving laws Ive had too many of my friends killed by drunk drivers or died from drinking dont let anyone tell you, you cant die from drinking its true you can go out have the best time of your life come home and go to bed and not wake up 95% of the reason you choke on your own vomit other 5% you stop breath

related that 29% it was decreased in 2003 but it has risen since then most of the kids who drink get them from parties that parents think nothing will happen sometimes the parents are the ones giving them the stuff its sad really even though men are the most likely ones to drink and drive ladies that doesnt mean your goody two shoes you guys are up there with the guys your no better then they are people who are 21 and over who suffer from abuse more then 13 million have drank under the age of 21 people who cause accident b/c they drove drunk at 9 times more likely to have a previous conviction for the same crime that is about 1.4 times the guy who has never drove drunk or been convicted of a OVI/DWI/DUI which is about 1/3 have been convicted of this already but yet they still do it like it no big thing guess what its a Hugh thing out of 159 million people 18 million of them are people ages 18-20. There was a guy a few months back who has had so many DUI convictions but yet he wasnt in jail he was at a party one night and decide to go to the store knowing full well he was drunk his girlfriend let him have the keys to her truck he never made it to the store why? Because he plowed into a car of collage students who werent drunk just wanted to see their families I just want to go up to that judge who let him off so many times shake his/her hand and say congrat who do you feel knowing you let a drunk with so many DUI on the street to drink and drive and kill those kids? Want my opion? The judge is just as responsible as the driver and the woman who let him drive her truck the gu

a party her boyfriend and herself and two of their friends decided to get into the car they were all drunk and high he was going 80+ miles down a back stretch of road and missed the turn she was 8 ½ months pregnant but he didnt care and take the time to drive slowly or she didnt say no which is sad she was the only one hurt in that accident they kept her alive long enough to save the baby a beautiful baby girl named Desiree too bad shell never know her mom because of a dumbass who drove drunk and didnt take the moment to think how bad it would be he really had no ramose for what has happen probably because he wasnt hurt and couldnt have careless about her I couldnt go to the funeral for a couple of reasons the main on I probably would have hurt him if he showed up and they were all underage 14,17,18 and 18 another friend of mine his friend and twin girls back in the summer of 2004 they went to the movies and he has been drinking before he came and pick the girls up he promised the girls parents he wouldnt drink but he did and so did his buddy as did the girls he was coming to take the girls home he missed the slight turn hit the median and flew into the air crashing into several difference cars the girls were alive but bearly they both died that night and the next day he spent a while in the hospital too as well as his buddy but after he got out he was taken straight to jail where he was charged with everything from vehicular homicide to vehicular assault , speeding , DUI 3+ the legal limit child endangering the worst part is one of the girls was a few weeks pregnant he was
