I just saw a story on the main page of myfoxtampabay.com.  It was about a 6 year old little girl in Charlotte County that called 911, because Her Mom's blood sugar had dropped. 

First of all to the Mom, I hope You're feeling better.  Secondly, great job teaching Your Daughter how to call 911 for help.  In My opinion,there needs to be more people in this world who take the time to teach their children how & when to call for help. 

And to Joseline, Great Job!!  I'm sure Your Mom is very proud of You.

 

 

 

I just saw a story on the front page of Myfoxtampabay.com, about another police officer killed in Miami-Dade this morning.  What is this world coming to?  What right do people have to shoot & kill their fellow man, let alone a POLICE OFFICER?  I hope that whomever did this to this officer is caught & put away for a very long time.  Some people in this world just don't have ANY respect for Law Enforcement or anyone else for that matter. I just don't see how anyone can be so cold hearted as to do something like this.  Like I posted in an earlier blog, people should have respect for Law Enforcement.  They are here to protect & serve their community.  They are just doing their jobs, by enforcing the law.  They're not out there to hurt anyone.  They're here to help Us.    These officers should be commended for the job they do.  They should not be shot down, just because they're doing their jobs.  People need to wake up & realize that they're the ones that broke the law & committed a crime & they need to pay for the crime they committed & stop running from the law. 

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family of this officer that was killed this morning.  May God bless You & help You through this very difficult time. 

You know, I just read a blog  entry that is posted on Frank Robertson's blog & naturally, it got Me to thinking.  You know, We all need to stop being so judgemental of  the Law Enforcement Officers in our communities.  They are all out here to protect & serve their community.  They are not here to hurt us.  They are here to help us.  They are the ones who put their lives on the line for each one of us everytime they put that uniform on & go out on the streets.  We all should be thankful that someone is out there that cares about us enough to fight crime & protect us.  We should not get angry with them when they pull us over on the side of the road for speeding.  It is our fault for breaking the law to begin with.  When someone gets pulled over for speeding, it's not that the officer wants to pull us over, IT'S HIS JOB !!  WE ALL NEED TO RESPECT THEM FOR THE JOB THEY DO!!  My thoughts & prayers go out to each & every Law Enforcement Officer out there that put their lives on the line each & every day.  May God Bless You All & Keep You All Safe!!

I SAW ANOTHER VERY DISTURBING REPORT TONIGHT ON FOX 13.  THIS ONE WAS FROM KEN SUAREZ, IN POLK COUNTY.  IT WAS ABOUT A MAN THAT GOT MAD, JUST BECAUSE A DOG KEPT COMING INTO HIS YARD, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE DOG WAS LOST & HUNGRY!!  THE MAN PROCEEDED TO TAKE THE DOG TO A SHED IN THE BACK YARD & BEAT THE DOG, UNTIL HE WAS BLOODY!!  IT ISN'T THE DOG'S FAULT THAT HE WAS LOST & HUNGRY.  FIRST OF ALL, THE OWNERS SHOULD HAVE DONE A MUCH BETTER JOB OF FEEDING THE ANIMAL & KEEPING HIM CONFINED.  SECONDLY, THE MAN THAT BEAT THE DOG, COULD HAVE SIMPLY CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL & ASKED THAT THE DOG BE PICKED UP & REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY!!  THERE WAS NO SENSE IN BEATING THE DOG AT ALL!!  THANK GOD THE DOG IS NOW AT ANIMAL CONTROL & IS BEING PUT UP FOR ADOPTION!!  IT IS MY HOPE & PRAYER THAT NOT ONLY DOES THIS DOG, BUT ALL ANIMALS AT ANIMAL CONTROL CAN FIND LOVING HOMES, BUT ALSO THAT, THIS MAN & OTHERS WHO HURT ANIMALS, HAVE TO PAY SOME HEFTY FINES & SERVE A LOT OF JAIL TIME, FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY!!  IF PEOPLE NO LONGER WANT THEIR ANIMALS, SELL THEM, GIVE THEM AWAY, TAKE THEM TO ANIMAL CONTROL OR THE SPCA, BUT PLEASE DON'T ABUSE THEM.  THEY MAY NOT BE HUMANS, BUT THEY ARE LIVING, BREATHING CREATURES, PUT ON THIS EARTH BY GOD, JUST LIKE US.  THEY HAVE FEELINGS, TOO. 

I saw a VERY DISTURBING Story tonight on Fox 13, reported by Warren Elly.  It was about a family where the mother, Her Boyfriend & the mother's two teenage sons, were growing marijuana in their house.  All four were arrested, but that's NOT THE POINT!!  The mother & Her Boyfriend, should have had better sense than to even have the drugs in the house, where the boys lived with Her.  The boys are old enough to know better & SO ARE THE MOTHER & HER BOYFRIEND!!  I feel that, even though the oldest boy is 18, the mother & her boyfriend should not only be charged with growing the marijuana, but also with child endangerment & or child neglect.  The mother & her boyfriend, BOTH endangered the boys by growing it in the house & the BOTH neglected to protect the children!!  Granted, the boys were just as involved in growing it, but they might not have done it, if it had not been for the mother & her boyfriend influencing them.  WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO??  After they get out of jail, the boys don't need to be returned to the custody of the mother & her boyfriend!!  They should be placed somewhere that they can be protected from this kind of thing!! 

You know, I am so sick of hearing about Nick Hogan.  I guess that just because He's the son of a famous wrestler, He thinks He can get away with doing whatever He wants & NOT have to pay the consequences.  Well, I got news for You Mr. Hogan.  Just because You're Hulk Hogan's son, DOESN'T MEAN A HILL OF BEANS!!  YOU ARE A PERSON, JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!  IF YOU BREAK THE LAW, YOU NEED TO PAY THE CONSEQUENCES FOR YOUR ACTIONS!!  THE REST OF US IN THIS WORLD HAVE TO PAY THE CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR WRONG DOINGS & YOU'RE NO DIFFERENT!!  STOP TRYING TO GET OUT OF THIS, NICK!!  WE ALL SAW THE VIDEO ON TV!!  GROW UP & TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!  STOP LETTING MOMMY & DADDY BAIL YOU OUT WHEN YOU GET IN TROUBLE!!  STAND UP & BE A MAN, NOT A LITTLE KID!!  MOM & DAD WON'T ALWAYS BE THERE TO BAIL YOU OUT!!
