I can't tell you the elation I feel over the polls showing the democrats' increased popularity with the voting public. I know it's still early, but let's hope this translates into votes in November.

The corruption and hypocrisy of the republicans is unbelievable! How in the world did we votes for these people?! The gung-BLEEP attitudes toward war seem to finally be dwindling. The gigantic deficit accumulating under this administration should be a clear indicator of the horrible businessman that 'W' is--he has driven every business he has run into the ground. Why did it take the voting public so long to figure this out?!

Anyway, I hope to be singing like Babs Streisand the morning after the polls close--Happy Days Are Hear Again!!!

I have a comment about your statement and the people that voted for Bush. I'm not going to apologize for anything. Bush has the right to declare war for thrity days and anything after that has to be approved by congress. Maybe you should start to blame your congressman.

Bush has that right, but has abused it; and if he had his way, he would start wars with Iran and North Korea. I don't think the world will be any better off with a tyrant like Bush running our country. We should only use war as an ultimate resort. Think of all the innocent lives lost because of the mess we have in Iraq. We got rid of Saddam because Bush had an agenda to do so from the legacy of his father. This war was based upon false information, and we were all fools to have believed it. Even Colin Powell was made to look foolish in front of the world. It's all about Bush abusing his power. Greed and power mongering are what drive the republican party. It's been that way since Reagan was in office.

Unlike you I will stick to the topic dated Oct.11 GO DEMS. As I stated I think 185 day grace period is perfect,I'm sure you know the media will be all over the Dems on the one hundred first day with the media's own report card. I hope everybody is right with the change in Columbus and Washington, but remember that's what we said when the republicans gained control. Wheather or not the you and I agree and so far we don't on politics we my friend are in for the following. 1)Tax Increases Across The Boards. 2)Higher Inflation(It's Been Creeping Up) 3)Higher Prices Due To The State Of Ohio Raising The Min.Wage(Which Is Needed To Keep Up With The Cost Of Living) 4)As for the jobs being kept here instead of going overseas or to Mexico it was in a Treaty called Nafta taking jobs out of Ohio and America under THE CLINTON ERA. In 4-6 years when the same old song dance continues will you still say Go Dems! But Go Where?????
