If Newt Gingrich was still considering a run for the White House after his hypocrisy was exposed regarding his extramarital affair during his investigation of Bill Clinton's extramarital affair, he can forget about it now. He referred to the Spanish language (and other languages) as "ghetto" during a discussion over whether ballots should be provided on a bilingual basis. Spanish-speaking citizenry  is on the verge of making up the largest minority group in this country, and it won't be long before they are the majority. Gingrich's hypocrisy and hateful attitudes should disqualify him from even considering a run for the White House. Since he won't have to shut his mouth, maybe he'll just fade away.

All the canidates say things that they don't really mean, and most of the canidates have some kind of trash in the can that will come out if they run for president. Knute has not committed to running, but if he does he will have just as good of a chance as anyone else.
If you took offense to things that are said by the canidates, you probably would not have anyone to vote for.
We need to keep an open mind, it is way to early in the run for president to make up our minds yet.

Keep an open mind?! You mean like Gingrich?! It's a little difficult to take back a hateful statement that offends an entire segment of society. I think he's toast.

Newt the ultimate low grade ghetto mentality, he lies, he steals, he leaves his sick wife for an intern (how original). A complete hyprocrite......So it doesn't surprise me that he would make such an ignorant statement as more and more of the GOP has proven they are not as intelligent and forthright as they claimed to be......Neither is its supporters, finally Ohio elected a Democrat governor, after all the years of republican rein which has done nothing but left Ohio in financial ruins....

I'm not shocked. what shocks me is that the news actually reported it. The republican party must not want him to win. If he were thier golden boy it would never have made the news. The obviously want him out. And then I question if he actually said it. If it was in print, I'm guessing it never happened.

This is an example of political startegizing. This is the way the news lulls us into thinking it represents all sides. By offering up someone who shares thier ideology and political agenda as a wrong doer. He either will get some cushy job if Rebuplicans get in office for his "apparant sacrifice" or they just don't like him. Either way he's thier sacrifical lamb so to speak. The idea that any politican would say such a thing is just too hard for me to believe especially if he plans to run for president. I say believe about 1/100 of what you hear on the news and do your own research. He cheated on his wife and he's a racists, how does that make him any different from any other politician currently in office?

As for believing what you hear in the news, I agree to the extent that when it's Fox News reporting it, it's probably full of partial truth, which is no more than a lie. However, I tend to believe some reports. Furthermore, I believe he said made the hateful remarks. He is a hypocrite and a racist. However, I don't believe all politicians are that way. I do believe all of us naturally possess some amount of racism simply because we're not all the same race. However, I don't believe all politicians cheat on their spouses.

Actually, I say speak for yourself on "we are all some degree of racists".

I believe people just like to believe their own racism is the norm, however it doesn't matter the race for me, but for the human race which is probably like heaven, it won't be color or race coded.....

So, I tend to treat people like I want to be treated and do not assume anything...Because I positive just like my own race--we are all not the same.....Works for me................

And politicians cheat or not cheat the same way everyone else may or maynot, unfortunately both are in high numbers though.

Perhaps, they should drop the "family value campaigns" That way they won't have to fall off their platforms. Personally, I could careless their family life, the important issues our economic growth right now! our education system and fair taxes....Other than that they can screw whomever is in agreement.

And if their spouses do not like it, than do what everyone else does get a divorce, as oppose to not wanting to give up their lifestyles, titles and monies....

For even Hillary has gained much for her marriage to Bill....

The fact of the matter is we are all racists to some extent. That doesn't mean you go around calling people hateful, derogatory terms; but somewhere in your mind, you feel differently from your fellow races. Let's be honest about it. Do your research--it's a fact. I believe in the golden rule, as well. So I agree with you in that respect. You are absolutely correct that politicians are people just like everyone else; so they cheat or not, just like everyone else. The same goes for priests and every other walk of life--you have good and bad in every walk. Family Values was a scam, just as drug testing was for the Reagan-Bush and Bush-Quayle administrations. They didn't care about cleaning up the drug problem in this country, they opened the door to crack cocaine in order to fund the Iran-Contra covert operations in Latin America (the whole Olly North scandal). However, everyone seems to have forgotten about that. Anyway, Family Values is an agenda against abortion and homosexuality--nothing more. I don't know why those two things tend to be all that matters while the world goes to hell due to greed and selfishness over ecological factors. Hillary was way ahead of the game in the early 90's with regard to healthcare reform, but nobody believed it. I think people believe her now in that regard. I suppose we will realize Al Gore was right about environmental issues, but it won't be for another 15 years. I wonder if those who've been calling him crazy will admit they were wrong. Can you imagine if the election hadn't resulted in W's election as president. Perhaps we wouldn't hav

I still do agree about "all being racists" although you could call me discriminatory that would be more to the truth....

Actually, I hoping Hillary do not win, I really think we need new talent and stop re-inventing the bush/clinton political wheel....

Family Value, No Child Left Behind, Just Say No was agenda used to feed the ignorant, so that drug cartels could flourish, NCLB, while in the state of Ohio 80% of federal education dollars goes to faith-based schools.....Yet here we sit with an illegal immigration problem funded by corporate America in which Ohio for is loyalty to the republican party sits as a top ten financial ailing state....

We are not coming back neither, fed by repub on family values, NCLB, homosexuals and abortions.....

And it is not exactly the politicians fault if the voters cannot tell the difference between a hand job and a blow job.....
