The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.' My loving wife of 38 yrs replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that sh!t? I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I have stopped fishing.

INVOLUNTARY MUSCULAR CONTRACTIONS

*A professor at the University of Mississippi was giving a lecture on
'Involuntary Muscular Contractions' to his first year medical
 students.*

*Realizing this was not the most riveting subject, the professor
decided to lighten the mood slightly. He pointed to a young woman in the
front row and said, 'Do you know what your azz hole is doing while
 you're having an orgasm?' *

*She replied, 'Probably deer hunting with his buddies.' *

*It took 45 minutes to restore order in the classroom.........*

Chinese Automakers May Buy GM and ChryslerBy Bertel Schmitt
November 18th, 2008 - 19,624 views

Chinese carmakers SAIC and Dongfeng have plans to acquire GM and Chrysler, China’s 21st Century Business Herald reports today. [A National Enquirer the paper is not. It is one of China's leading business newspapers, with a daily readership over three million.] The paper cites a senior official of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology– the state regulator of China’s auto industry– who dropped the hint that “the auto manufacturing giants in China, such as Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) and Dongfeng Motor Corporation, have the capability and intention to buy some assets of the two crisis-plagued American automakers.” These hints are very often followed with quick action in the Middle Kingdom. The hints were dropped just a few days after the same Chinese government gave its auto makers the go-ahead to invest abroad. And why would they do that?

Is this the type of corporation we need to bail out? I use to feel a deep loyalty to the Big Three because I am a native Detroiter and also was involved in parts for automobiles for many years. From tooling to building injection molds my life revolved around the car. How have they repayed that loyalty? By laying of workers and factory closings that has trickled down through the industry and crippled this not only this city but cities all over the country. At the same time they are asking us for help they are building and expanding in other countries. You be the judge.

While GM, Ford and Chrysler put the squeeze on the taxpayer’s elected (and appointed) representatives, their shift of investment out of the U.S. and into other countries continues apace. This morning, for example, the Associated Press reports on the grand opening of General Motors newest $300mfactory… in St. Petersburg, Russia. “This plant is GM’s first in Russia, where demand for cheap, well-built cars has exploded amid a decade-long economic boom.” Similarly, last month GM opening it’s second factory in India and launched a new $250 million Shanghai, China R&D palace. For the life of me, I do not understand how GM executives can continue to pay themselves outrageous sums of money, shut down American factories, put development programs into the deep-freeze, toss American workers on the ash-heap, invest the company’s dwindling resources everywhere else AND demand financial bailouts from American taxpayers. Oh yeah, and don’t forget that bit about blaming American customers for un-patriotic buying decisions. Speaker Pelosi, are you paying attention? Can someone please tell her from whence cometh the Chevrolet Aveo?

I don't have the eloquence to be the author of this but it's food for thought.

Look at my fellow conservatives! There they go, glumly shuffling along, depressed by the election aftermath. Not me. I'm virtually euphoric. Don't get me wrong. I'm not thrilled with America 's flirtation with neo socialism. But there's a massive silver lining in those magical clouds that lofted Barak Obama to the Presidency. For today, without a shred of intellectually legitimate opposition, I can loudly proclaim to America : The Era of White Guilt is over.   This seemingly impossible event occurred because the vast majority of white Americans didn't give a fluff about skin color, and enthusiastically pulled the voting lever for a black man. Not just any black man. A very liberal black man who spent his early career race-hustling banks, praying in a racist church for 20 years, and actively worked with America-hating domestic terrorists. Wow! Some resume! Yet they made Barak Obama their leader. Therefore, as of Nov 4th, 2008, white guilt is dead.   For over a century, the millstone of white guilt hung around our necks, retribution for slave-owning predecessors. In the 60s, American liberals began yanking that millstone while sticking a fork in the eye of black Americans, exacerbating the racial divide to extort a socialist solution. But if a black man can become President, exactly what significant barrier is left? The election of Barak Obama absolutely destroys the entire validation of liberal white guilt. The dragon is hereby slain.   So today, I'm feeling a little "uppity," if you will. From this day forward, my tolerance level for having my skin color hustled is now exactly ZERO. And it's time to clean house. No more Reverend Wright's "God Damn America ," Al Sharpton's Church of Perpetual Victimization , or Jesse Jackson's rainbow racism. Cornell West? You're a fraud. Go home. All those "black studies" programs that taught kids to hate whitey? You must now thank Whitey. And I want that on the final.   Congressional Black Caucus? Irrelevant. Maxine Waters? Shut up. ACORN? Outlawed. Black Panthers? Go home and pet your kitty. Black separatists? Find another nation that offers better dreams. Go ahead. I'm waiting.   Gangsta rappers? Start praising America . Begin with the Pledge of Allegiance. And please…no more ebonics. Speak English, and who knows where you might end up? Oh, yeah…pull up your pants. Your underwear is showing. You look stupid.   To those Eurosnots who forged entire careers hating America ? I'm still waiting for the first black French President.   And let me offer an equal opportunity whupping. I've always despised lazy white people. Now, I can talk smack about lazy black people. You're poor because you quit school, did drugs, had three kids with three different fathers, and refuse to work. So when you plop your Colt 45-swilling, Oprah watchin' butt on the couch and complain "Da Man is keepin' me down," allow me to inform you: Da Man is now black. You have no excuses.   No more quotas. No more handouts. No more stealing my money because someone's great-great-great-great grandparents suffered actual pain and misery at the hands of people I have no relation to, and personally revile.   It's time to toss that massive, obsolete race-hustle machine upon the heap of the other stupid 60s ideas. Drag it over there, by wife swapping, next to dope-smoking. Plenty of room right between free love and cop-killing. Careful…don't trip on streaking. There ya go, don't be gentle. Just dump it. Wash your hands. It's filthy.   In fact, Obama's ascension created a gargantuan irony. How can you sell class envy and American unfairness when you and your black wife went to Ivy League schools, got high-paying jobs, became millionaires, bought a mansion, and got elected President? How unfair is that??? Now, Like a delicious O'Henry tale, Obama's spread-the-wealth campaign rendered itself moot by it's own victory!  America is officially a meritocracy. Obama's election has validated American conservatism!   So, listen carefully…Wham!!! That's the sound of my foot kicking the door shut on the era of white guilt. The rites have been muttered, the carcass lowered, dirt shoveled, and tombstone erected. White guilt is dead and buried.   However, despite my glee, there's apparently one small, rabid bastion of American racism remaining. Black Americans voted 96% for Barak Obama. Hmmm. In a color-blind world, shouldn't that be 50-50? Tonight, every black person should ask forgiveness for their apparent racism and prejudice towards white people. Maybe it's time to start spreading the guilt around.

is strong enough to take everything you have.

A farmer went out one day and bought a brand new stud rooster for his chicken coop. The new rooster struts over to the old rooster and says,
'OK old fart, time for you to retire.'
The old rooster replies, 'Come on, surely you cannot handle ALL of these chickens. Look what it has done to me. Can't you just let me have the two old hens over in the corner?' The young rooster says, 'Beat it: You are washed up and I am taking over.' The old rooster says, 'I tell you what, young stud. I will race you around the farmhouse. Whoever wins gets the exclusive domain over the entire chicken coop.' The young rooster laughs. 'You know you don't stand a chance, old man. So, just to be fair, I will give you a head start.'

The old rooster takes off running. About 15 seconds later the young rooster takes off running after him. They round the front porch of the farmhouse and the young rooster has closed the gap.
He is only about 5 feet behind the old rooster and gaining fast. The farmer, meanwhile, is sitting in his usual spot on the front porch when he sees the roosters running by. The Old Rooster is squalking and running as hard as he can. The Farmer grabs his shotgun and - BOOM - he blows the young rooster to bits. The farmer sadly shakes his head and says,
'Darn.....third gay rooster I bought this month.'

           Moral of this story? ....

Don't mess with the OLD FARTS - age, skill, wisdom, and a little treachery will always overcome youth and arrogance!

The following is a narrative taken from Sunday Morning's televised 'Meet The Press'.
The author is employed by none other than the Washington Post!!

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2:08 11:48:04 EST, Televised 'Meet the Press' Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn (USAF ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
The General also stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the National anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, 'Stand and Face It'.

Senator Obama replied:

'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be  perceived as taking sides'.  'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.'

'The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing.'

        ARE YOU READY FOR THIS??

Obama said:  'The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of  acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between o ur governments.'

When I become President, I will seek a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation have placed upon the nations of Islam an unfair injustice which is WHY my Wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past'.

'Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America'

Of course I can hear everybody yelling, "yeah right it's the Washington Post," instead of taking in what it says.

HOW SPOT-ON WAS THIS GUY??!! Quote of the Week
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'

My Niece works as a supervisor in a preschool. Her husband works construction and of course is laid off and scraps for side jobs. They both work insanely hard trying to hold their family together. They have two children, my great niece Leah 3 and great nephew Ryan who's about 3 months. Granted, Having Ryan in this economic climate wasn't the smartest move but they didn't ask me how to conduct their lives behind closed doors. The only heathcare they can get is a pittance through her job that takes a large chunk of her checks and has a $1,500 deductible which may as well be a million. This family isn't rare, they are just a snapshot of half the young couples in this country. Oh and did I mention their house is going into foreclosure? Silly me.. I just thought you might be interested why they were turned down for medicaid. It's because they make too much money. Where are our tax dollars really going? Where are our healthcare dollars being swallowed up? Take a look, I couldn't get the picture of Ryan or Leah getting hurt or sick this winter when I watched this.

I've lived in and around Detroit most of my life. For many years I worked in steel trades that were involved in automobile manufacture. I changed careers at 35 and received a degree in Electronics Engineering which evolved into broadcast engineering. Do to a stoke and spinal problems I am now disabled and am working at becoming the worlds slowest typist. My mind is still clear though and as I've read I've noticed many of yours are as well.
