Well folks it has begun. In light of the June 12, 2008 Supreme Court ruling that gave Guantanamo Bay detainees access to American courts the U. S. District Court of Appeals in Washington DC ruled today that a Chinese Muslim named Huzaifa Parhat can no longer be considered an enemy combatant and should be released. Parhat is one of several Chinese Uyghurs, a Chinese Separatist group living in Afghanistan with known ties to al Qaeda, who are being held in Guantanamo. The government has been trying to find a country willing to accept the Uighurs but, so far, have had no luck. The court said that since there is no evidence that Parhat had actually picked up a gun an fired at any Americans, he must be released. Who knows, maybe the Liberals on the court will allow him to move into your neighborhood. Get ready, this is only the beginning, folks.

With the threat on another attack looming large over America Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat leadership in the House decided that they owe more to the Trial Lawyer Lobby than they owe to the American people. So, instead of passing the Protect America Act that would help protect Americans they spent their time before leaving for vacation holding hearings about some baseball players who were suppose to be taking steroids.

I've got it! Let's start a rumor that all Islamic Terrorists are taking steroids. That should get the Democrats to pay attention.

It seems that whenever Hillary (or, if you prefer, Billary) says something outrageous it isn’t long before her supporters will jump to her defense by saying, "She had to say that to satisfy her base." Well there is one group that Hillary doesn’t have to pander to. They love her just the way she is. They’re the Islamic Terrorists.

Aaron Klein, the Jerusalem bureau chief for WorldNetDaily, recently published a book and devoted a part of it to finding out which American politicians the terrorists liked best. He found out that the overwhelming favorite of the terrorists was, you guessed it, the Democrats in general, and Hillary Clinton in particular. Klein said, "The terrorists understand very well the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans, and they see that a lot of Democratic presidential candidates are competing with each other on who would withdraw from Iraq first, who would create dialogue with Iran, dialogue with Syria, cease fires with some of the insurgent leaders."

According to Klein, the terrorist leaders understand that it is in their best interests for Democrats to gain the political upper hand in the United States. That’s why all of bin Ladin’s recent videos basically regurgitate Democrat talking points. Do you really think that bin Ladin give a rat’s rear end about uninsured Americans? But he was sure to mention them in his latest tape. Listen to Ahmadinejad’s speeches. He tends to repeat points that have been written by the staff at the DNC.

Klein talked to Hamas leader Ahmed Yousuf and he says that Yousuf has nothing but praise for Mrs. Clinton. Klein said, "He believes that the Palestinian ticket to victory is Hillary Clinton and he’s just one of literally dozens of senior terrorist leaders that I talked to..." Klein says that the consensus among the terrorists is that a Clinton victory in 2008 would open the door for them to impose Islam and Sharia Law onto the rest of the world. That includes the United States, folks.

Klein went on, "These terrorists.... are looking to get America out of the Middle East and to destroy Israel. But these are just means to an end. They’re ultimately looking to spread their brand of Islam in the Middle East and Europe, and ultimately to the United States of America. So they’re going to support any political party or candidate that would try to push through their short term goal." The terrorists ..."apparently believe that Hillary Clinton, in particular, is that candidate."

Well, look at the bright side. Any terrorist who enters New York illegally won’t have to travel by cab. Hillary will see to it that they have driver’s licenses.

I have maintained for quite some time now that our public schools are abandoning traditional education more and more in favor of becoming indoctrination centers where "Liberalthink" is the main subject. School Boards seem to be more interested in turning out students who are proficient in the art of politically correct thinking than they are in turning out students who actually have the skills they will need in the future to get a decent job. Did you notice how Clay Aiken struggled last night on the "Are You Smarted Than A Fifth Grader" show over how much 8 times 8 was? It’s a good thing for him he can sing.

One of the latest examples of this occurred at the Adams Middle School in Brentwood, California. The principal, Adam Clark, encouraged all the students to dress like the opposite sex on the last day of "Spirit Week." It was suppose to create sensitivity and tolerance of cross dressers, transsexuals, and transvestites among the students. That’s something that every 13 year-old needs, right?

One parent of a seventh-grader questioned the principal about this and was told that she could keep her son home that day if she didn’t want to send him to school dressed as a girl.

.

To make a long story short, when the parents got wind of this the outcry to fire the principal was so great that the event was cancelled and instead the students were asked to wear the school colors on that day. The parents won this one. Even so, they need to watch very closely what’s going on in schools today. You’d be surprised.

Back on October 12 the Empire State Building in New York City was lit up with green lights for the entire weekend to honor the Muslim holiday of Eid. This is one of the most important days on the Muslim calendar since it marks the end of Ramadan.

Whoever thought of doing this didn’t seem to think that the families of the victims of 9/11 -- who were killed by Muslim extremists -- might look at this as a gross insult.

.

So why would they do this? Simply because city leaders refuse to associate terrorism with Islam. It’s not politically correct. That’s amazing given the fact that the people who killed 3,000 people on that day were motivated by the teachings of Islam as were terrorist who have been killing Americans for the last 30 years..

.

This idiocy is coming from the same city officials that ban nativity scenes, Christmas trees, Christmas carols, and Hanukkah menorahs but they see no problem at all paying homage to Ramadan. This is another slap in the face for the 9/11 victims.

Every Democrat candidate has come up with his own version of HillaryCare. For those of you who are interested in HillaryCare and other Social Democrat Health Care plans, here's something from a Canadian on their socialized medical care plan. I have added my own comments after each point. I also did not correct any typos in the original.

 I  saw on the news up here in Canada where Hillary Clinton introduced her new health care plan. Something similar to what we have in Canada. I also heard that Michael Moore was raving about the health care up here in Canada in his latest movie. As your friend and someone who lives with the Canada health care plan I thought I would give you some facts about this great medical plan that we have in Canada.

First of all:

 1) The health care plan in Canada is not free. We pay a premium every month of $96 for Shirley and I to be covered. Sounds great eh. What they don't tell you is how much we pay in taxes to keep the health care system afloat. I am personally in the 55% tax bracket. Yes 55% of my earnings go to taxes. A large portion of that and I am not sure of the exact amount goes directly to health care our #1 expense.

 Most Canadians pay out several hundred dollars a month in healthcare premiums. Low income families are exempt. According to the Canadian government that average tax burden in Canada is 40%. In the U.S. it averages just under 33%.

 2) I would not classify what we have as health care plan, it is more like a health diagnosis system. You can get into to see a doctor quick enough so he can tell you "yes indeed you are sick or you need an operation" but now the challenge becomes getting treated or operated on. We have waiting lists out the ying yang some as much as 2 years down the road.

.

The long waiting periods for care is why many Canadians opt to come to the United States and pay for their care. Of course this option is only open to the higher income groups. I like what Rudy Giuliani said yesterday. "If Hillary's health care plan gets implemented, where are the Canadians going to go for their heath care?" 

.

3) Rather than fix what is wrong with you the usual tactic in Canada is to prescribe drugs. Have a pain here is a drug to take- not what is causing the pain and why. No time for checking you out because it is more important to move as many patients thru as possible each hour for Government re-imbursement

 4) Many Canadians do not have a family Doctor.

.

There is a severe shortage of doctors in Canada. They have all gone to places where they can actually make some money practicing medicine. The few who are left aren't taking on any new patients. According to the Canadian Medical Association 14% of Canada's population does not have a family doctor.

5) Don't require emergency treatment as you may wait for hours in the emergency room waiting for treatment.

.

Well, that can even be the case in the United States. You only go to the head of the line if you're about to die. But the wait times in Canadian emergency rooms are legendary, to say the least.

6) Shirley's dad cut his hand on a power saw a few weeks back and it required that his hand be put in a splint - to our surprise we had to pay $125. for a splint because it is not covered under health care plus we have to pay $60. for each visit for him to check it out each week.

If you’ve ever entertained any doubts that the Democrats in Washington are really invested in the defeat of the United States in the Middle East, there can no longer be any doubt.

You see, indications are that things are going very well in Iraq right now. And the Democrats can’t allow that to happen. They can see their hopes in 2008 going down the tubes if the United States military were to actually win over there. After all, they’ve already declared that the war is lost and that U.S. soldiers are just running around over there bombing villages and murdering civilians. They’ve called General Petraeus a liar when he said that we’re winning. So they can’t allow him to be right.

Well, fearing an eminent victory in Iraq, the Democrats have been feeling pressure coming from their Left Wing base to get more serious about opposing the Bush Administration’s efforts to win the war. To that end, Nancy Pelosi is presenting a resolution to the House condemning Turkey for killing Armenians during World War I, calling it genocide. The Resolution has already passed the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday.

Turkey has always denied that any genocide of Armenians took place. They say that both Turks and Armenians died as the Ottoman Empire collapsed at the end of World War I and they are very sensitive to suggestions that there was any wrongdoing on their part.

.

Whether it happened or not is up for debate. But, even if it happened, that was almost a hundred years ago. So what possible purpose could such a resolution serve today? Especially given the fact that the U. S Congress has already passed two resolutions since that time that said the same thing.

.

Simple folks. Turkey is a critical ally in the War on Terrorists. They allow flyovers of U.S. military aircraft as well as allowing us to use their country as a staging area for men and supplies being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. So the Democrat strategy is to alienate this important ally in the war in the hope that it will hinder our efforts to win victory in Iraq and Afghanistan. Think about that, folks. The Democrats are actively trying to sever the supply lines to our troops in their effort to cause them to lose the war. I find that unbelievable. In fact, it's downright treasonous.

Passing this resolution will be considered a gross insult by the Turks. In fact, the Turks have already recalled their Ambassador. Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan commented last Friday that U.S. Turkish relations are endangered because of this resolution. He used a Turkish idiom to describe how bad relations are by saying, "Where the rope is worn thin, may it break off."

It’s hard to believe that we could have a political party in the United States that is so desirous of seeing their country defeated in a time of war that they are purposely trying to alienate our allies. This is the same party that has been bashing Bush for years claiming that he has alienated the rest of the world from us. This is the same party who seems to be obsessed with what other countries think of us. This is the same party who seems to feel that we must get the permission of other countries before we can defend ourselves. Yet this same party is willing to insult our allies if it serves their political ambitions. That is almost beyond belief.

I say again. If you had any doubts that the Democrats were so invested in our defeat that they are actively working to undermine our efforts to win the victory, there can be no doubt now.

The latest bit of brain flatulence to exit Hillary’s noggin is the idea that you and I, through the Federal Government, should give every baby born in America $5,000. She says that the money could then be invested and grow so that when the child grows up they can use that money as a down payment on their first house, college tuition, etc., etc.

Well here’s the question that I’d just love to hear the media types ask Mrs. Bill Clinton. Are you people at Fox listening? When George Bush proposed allowing people to take some of THEIR OWN MONEY they are currently being forced to throw into that black hole called the Social Security Fund and invest it so that it can grow and they can get MORE MONEY when they retire Her Thighness had a fit. She said that it was a stupid idea to allow people to invest their Social Security money into the private sector. What it the Stock Market fell? What if they didn’t invest it properly. And, God forbid, Wall Street types might actually make some money from the fees involved.

Well, if investing money in the private sector was such a bad idea when Bush proposed it, why does Billery think it’s such a good idea when SHE proposes it, hmmmmm?

A report that came out of England recently destroys the love affair that our tree hugging friends are having with biofuels. Aside from the fact that biofuels require burning some sort of fuel to produce, require fuel to grow, and only supply 75% of the power of gasoline, it seems that biofuels made from corn or rapeseed, like E-85, produce 50% to 70% more greenhouse gasses than fuels made from petroleum oil. Scientists in the U.K, Germany and the United States have found that Ethanol and biodiesel fuels release 50% more nitrous-oxide into the atmosphere than was originally thought.

By the way. It we were to convert entirely to biofuels we would use up every bit of corn produced in the world. What do you think that would do to the food industry?

Why? Because they didn’t anticipate that as much as 5% of the nitrogen that the plant absorbed from the soil is converted in nitrous-oxides and released into the atmosphere when that fuel is burned. So this is just one more case of the kooks going off half cocked over something in spite of the fact that we haven’t done enough to see if it will work.

We need to be careful not to go off half cocked when these kooks start pushing something because, more often than not, they’re wrong. We know now that DDT is perfectly safe when used properly. But millions of people are dead today from malaria that DDT could have prevented. We know now that the spotted owl was never endangered, but we still destroyed the logging industry in that area. We listened to them and stopped thinning out forests and now we’re plagued by giant forest fires every year. We spent billions of dollars eliminating Freon from our air conditioners and aerosols because the kooks said we were destroying the ozone layer. But a report came out last month that said we know now that Freon has no effect at all on the ozone layer. The kooks have been telling us that our seafood has mercury in it and we’re all going to die. Just last week a report came out from the U.S. Government recommending people eat seafood because they have found no danger from mercury. In fact, they said that the mercury danger was HYPOTHETICAL. And let’s not forget the Alar scare that almost destroyed the fruit industry a few years ago even though we now know that Alar is perfectly safe.

The sad part is, our legislators listen to these people. I remember how Congress was badgered into forcing automakers into installing air bags in every car because the kooks insisted that we’d all be safer. The automakers told them that the technology wasn’t ready yet. But the kooks insisted that they were evil corporations and couldn’t be telling the truth. We ended up killing hundreds of young children as a result. The automakers were right after all. The kooks insisted on putting heavier rear bumpers on trucks so that cars wouldn’t run under the truck in a read end collision. The truckers said it wouldn’t work. But they’re evil corporations. What do they know? Turned out the bumpers were so heavy that deaths went up. The bodies were just a little neater.

So pardon me if I get skeptical when the kooks start telling me that I need to start putting alcohol in my car. Alcohol is best used on the rocks with an olive in it.

Early this month German authorities arrested three Muslim men who were plotting to attack multiple targets in Germany, and they are still seeking at least ten others in connection with the scheme. The attacks were suppose to be carried out just prior to 9/11. The most notable targets were Ramstein Air Base and Frankfurt International Airport. Both of these places have concentrations of American military personnel as well as German citizens. It is believed that the attacks were meant to persuade the German government to rethink it’s commitment to supply troops in Afghanistan.

. 

Well, how do you think this plot was uncovered, folks? Among other things, U.S. Intelligence personnel assisted German authorities in eavesdropping on cell-phone conversations between two of the plotters as they left training camps in Pakistan. The news Media has been silent on this fact because this is the same sort of monitoring that, according to National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell, has been undermined by the Democrat Party in the United States by their failure to support reform of FISA.

Remember folks. The Democrats in this country have positioned themselves politically where any victory in the War on Terror is bad news for them. In other words, they are invested in our defeat.

.

But we are the United States of America, folks. Our military, along with our investigators, are perfectly capable of winning the War on Terror if we would just let them do it. But the Democrat Congress wants to usurp the constitutional authority of the Commander in Chief and micro-manage the war. Since they know victory will hurt them politically, they are doing everything in their power to tie the hands of our fighters behind their backs. Then they have the nerve to complain that there’s no progress being made and call the commanding general a liar when he tries to tell them that we are making progress. And, since they assume they will win the White House in 2008, they are trying to accomplish our defeat before the election so that they can blame it all on George Bush. You see, they don’t want to be in power when we lose because Americans don't like to lose.

Isn’t it amazing that we have a political party in this country that will actually work for the defeat of the United Stares if they think it will help them politically. Put these people back in power in 2008 by giving them the White House and sustaining their majority status in Congress and it’s only a matter of time until we have another attack on the scale of 9/11. Will it be against YOU this time?

Nobody with an ounce of working grey matter can deny that the Democrats are so completely invested in the defeat of the U.S. military in Iraq that anything good that happens in the war on terror is bad news for them. That’s why they tried their best to discredit General Petraeus by calling him a liar before they even knew what he was going to say. By the way. I’m still waiting for the evidence they had that showed that what Petraeus said was untrue. They just SAID it wasn’t true and their buddies in the Media loyally regurgitated it as truth.

Well, it’s bad enough when they say what they say about the U.S. when they’re here. But what would you think about a Democrat Presidential Candidate who goes over to Syria and bad mouths the United States on SYRIAN TELEVISION?

Well, that’s exactly what Democrat Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich just did. In every conflict you will find useful idiots who give aid and comfort to the enemy and Dennis Kucinich has chosen to play that role.

.

Kucinich recently went to Syrian to meet with the Syrian President Basher Assad and while he was there he appeared on Syrian television in order to bash his own country for all the Muslim world to see. And remember, he is a Democrat Presidential Candidate. This has to be the first time in U.S. history where a Presidential Candidate has gone to a country that openly seeks our defeat in order to aid their propaganda efforts against us.

. 

What’s even worse, our Justice Department has been sitting on their thumbs doing nothing about it. Friends, it is illegal for anyone but the President or someone who is authorized by the President to negotiate with a foreign government. And Kucinich said that he told Assad that he was going to ask U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to follow up on the "dire conditions" posed by leftover Israeli cluster bombs in southern Lebanon. He said, "There has to be a commitment to cleaning up these cluster bombs." He failed to mention the rockets that Hezbollah is firing at Israeli citizens every day. He also told his fellow Democrats that Assad was open to his plan for peace in the Middle East. Of course he was open to it. Kucinich’s plan is WE SURRENDER. This guy thinks he already President.

Kucinich also praised the Syrian president for giving sanctuary to over a million Saddam loyalists who fled Iraq to escape capture. He went on to tell the Syrians that he refused to visit Iraq because, "I feel the United States in engaging in an illegal occupation...I don’t want to bless that occupation with my presence."

.

Well, Assad illegally got the office of president because of threats passed out by his father’s gangster friends. His father wanted to continue looting the country. Assad openly supports Hamas and Hezbollah. He is the main exporter of Iranian arms into Iraq. And he trains Islamist killers and sends them into Iraq to murderer Iraqi citizens and U.S. servicemen. He has also placed hundreds of Kurds and other dissidents into Syrian prisons to be tortured and killed. But Kucinich – the guy who wants to be your President – just loves the guy!!!

Well, as far as I’m concerned, Mr. Kucinich, you don’t need to bless us by coming home. If you hate the United States so much that you are willing to go on television in Syria – a country that openly supports international terrorism – and bad mouth your country before people who are openly trying to kill us, you shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy the benefits of living in this country. Stay in Syria with your pal Assad.

Mr. Kucinich, How can you possibly claim to love your country and yet betray everything it stands for? And how can you do that at the same time you’re telling us you’d like to be our President? You sir, are a disgrace!

I thought Glenn Beck had an interesting thought this week. I can’t remember it verbatim so I’ll have to paraphrase it.

The Media always look at what world leaders say and do through the prism of politics. They automatically assume that anything they say or do is done for political expedience. They never consider religion as a part of the mix. They simply assume that all world leaders want the same things we want and will do any say what they need to do and say to get it and their rhetoric shouldn’t be taken seriously.

.

George Bush makes no secret of the fact that he is a Christian. And Christians are waiting for the return of the Messiah (Jesus). Well, what if George Bush went to the U.N to make a speech and started off with a ten minute prayer asking God to speed the return of the Messiah? Then he went on to assure his listeners that he wanted world peace but was convinced that world peace could only be accomplished after the Messiah returns.

.

Then, in an effort to bring about world peace, Bush went back to Washington and appeared before Congress and made a speech that began with the same prayer, asking God to hasten the return of the Messiah. Then he told Congress that he was convinced that the Messiah will return within the next twelve months and that he had a plan that would hasten His return thus bringing on world peace.

.

The Bible tells us that the Messiah won’t return until after the Anti-Christ is discovered and destroyed in a massive war where millions of people are going to be killed. Since Bush is convinced that Iran, led by Ahmadinejad, is the anti-Christ, he believes that he can hasten the return of the Messiah by starting a war with Iran using nuclear weapons. Sure, millions of people would die. But most of them would be non-Christians anyway. And after the war was over the Messiah would return and bring peace to the world with the U.S. in charge. Then he asked Congress to appropriate money to prepare Washington, DC for the Messiah’s arrival.

How do you think the media in the country would react if George Bush did something like that? They would be having cat-fits all over the place. Every headline in every newspaper in the world would condemn him. Then they would do everything possible to remove Bush from office.

.

Well friends, there is someone in the world doing all of those things right now. The only difference is that it’s a Muslim doing it. And it isn’t Ahmadinejad’s Iran who is the anti-Christ. It’s the United States, regardless of who is president. And instead of Jesus, he is waiting for the Muslim equivalent of the Messiah known as the Mahdi.

The person doing those things is Iran’s president, MAHMOUD AMADINEJAD. He prays for the speedy arrival of the Mahdi before every one of his speeches. He tells the world that the only way world peace can be accomplished is for the Mahdi to return quickly. Then he urges his listeners to embrace Islam. If you don’t believe me, listen to the speeches he gave at the U.N.

.

Ahmadinejad is so convinced that he can speed up the Mahdi’s arrival by creating the world chaos that must occur before the Mahdi’s return that he has ordered everyone in Tehran to make the city ready for the Mahdi’s return. That means getting rid of anyone who refuses to obey Sharia Law. The result has been wholesale hangings, beheadings, and stoneings. Construction cranes in Iran are used more as mobile gallows than they are in construction. Women are stoned daily for the most trivial violations. There are no homosexuals in Iran because they kill them.

Now, here’s the kicker. Ahmadinejad is convinced that the alliance between the United States and Israel is the evil that he must destroyed before the Mahdi will return. He even calls us the "Great Satan."

.

Ahmadinejad is convinced that he can speed up the return of the Mahdi by using nuclear weapons to create the world chaos that will destroy the Great Satan. And, he plans to start this chaos by, first, destroying Israel. He knows that doing this will bring the United States into the war. But he feels that Allah will give them victory over the U.S. too.

. 

How can he possibly think that? Well, think about this. Islamists in Iran ousted the Shah after the U.S. had promised to protect him and the U.S. did nothing. They took the embassy hostages and held them for over a year and the United States did nothing. Carter’s feeble rescue attempt ended in a disaster. They recently kidnaped some British soldiers and suffered no consequences at all. They have been openly developing nuclear weapons and calling for the destruction of Israel and the United States and we have done nothing. They have been thumbing their noses at the West for years and suffered no consequences. So why shouldn’t he think he can get away with it? He believes the reason Iran got away with those things in the past without any consequences is because Allah was protecting them from the Great Satan. So, he feels very comfortable in drawing the U.S. and Israel into a nuclear confrontation because he thinks Allah will see to it that he’ll win. And so what if some Muslims die. They’ll all die as martyrs and go to heaven with 72 virgins to play with.

Sure, he’s a nut job. So was Hitler. And we ignored him too and look what happened. But there were no nuclear weapons in 1939. You see, whether that stuff is actually true or not, Ahmadinejad GENUINELY BELIEVES that it is true. And that’s all that matters. And therein lies the problem. We’re ignoring him.

Ahmadinejad isn’t keeping his beliefs a secret. But the same Media that would want to hang George Bush – OR ANY OTHER Christian for that matter – for doing those things actually embraces the man who is REALLY DOING THEM. We give him a platform to speak at Columbia University. The students there applauded him. They’re worried that the president of Columbia University may have hurt his feelings. He wants to kill us and we’re worried about being rude to him. That is sheer madness.

Didn’t Hitler teach us anything? The Media insists on looking as what Ahmadinejad says and does through the prism of political rhetoric. They think that the things he is saying are so outrageous that he couldn’t possibly be serious about them. They fail to see that this is this man’s religion, and when he says he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth in one day and then destroy America HE IS DEAD SERIOUS.

Benjamin Netanyahu was once asked what the Holocaust had taught him. His answered, "When someone says he wants to kill you, believe him."

When are we going to start believing Ahmadinejad when he says he wants to kill us? We need to stop ignoring Iran. But, not only are we ignoring him, the Left in this country is embracing him. Why? Because he hates George Bush as much as they do. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Well, we better wise up soon. Our very survival depends on it. If Ahmadinejad wins, the ones who are applauding him today will be the first ones beheaded.
