I came across this video presentation that explains personality types. It's very entertaining!

It explains different personality types in colors, and shows how each interacts.

It's about 40 minutes long, so probably should save it for when you're not at work - but if you're into this sort of thing it's really fun.

Great for sales people and managers!

Click on the link at the bottom left of the screen.

Enjoy!

(PS, I'm a RED) LOL....

Post your personality color after you've watched.

I do not think any of the colors fit me. I am an equal mixture of all except blue.

From what people know of me on the blog is somewhat different in real life. I tend to be reserved here as I have time to collect my thoughts before anwering. In real life, I tend to act without much thought.

If that's the case, you're a green LOL.

No fear, I'm partly green too. Just depends on the situation which comes out more, my red or green.

I took this, but watched the first of each color. There are so many personality tests like this one takes in college.

BeStrong, you are strongly yellow--"We all need to get along, let's all be friends". :-)

I am green/red which probably makes me orange or muddy brown :-) I am a bottom line, cut to the chase, lead or get out of the way kind of person that analyzes everything.

LOL Miss Nancy..

Yep me too.

There are 3 kinds of people:

Those who MAKE THINGS HAPPEN

Those who WATCH THINGS HAPPEN

and Those who WONDER WHAT HAPPENED

most fitting of a yellow, but I do not sit around and be bullied. I go after what I want, I am not tolerant to a fault but am tolerant. I care about others and always try to place myself in their shoes. I care about their feelings but that doesn't mean I haven't stomped on them to achieve betterment for myself. I am determined, driven, and know exactly what I want, however I have placed my dreams on hold for my child. Money does motivate me but I won't screw you to get it. I believe in civility to fellow human beings... aside from mureders, rapist, terrorists, ect. I can get my point across without being a snatch about it 92.5% of the time.

Darn jp made me soul search...

BeStrong, don't let this frighten you, but you are where I was 30 years ago. In fact, my dream at age 13 was to serve God and humanity all my life. I was a nurse for several years because Southern Baptists couldn't be nuns, which was my first career choice.

I had the "sainted mother" syndrome whereby if there was a bent fork, I took it for myself rather than let anyone in my family use it. I sacrificed my dreams for those of my husband and then my daughter.

Finally, at age 47 it was my turn and I grabbed the bull by the horns and went for it. I finished my BA, went to grad school and got my MA, moved up the Corp. ladder and was the only woman manager in a company with 11 male managers. I learned then to be what I am today and you know what? That ain't a bad thing :-)

Ya I started off all idealistic too, MissNancy.

It's probably normal in the course of human development.

At some point we all learn to look out for #1 and sell out though.

In my case I was shocked to learn that I was basically and enabler - a door mat really.

So I cut the dead weight and started my life over again.

Life is good.

Kinda interesting... so missnancy would you trade those years spent with your child? I do struggle with it constantly. She didn't ask to be born... isn't she my responsibility if we can afford for me to stay home?

jp- one day i'll reach a level of maturity and look back and think how naive i once was.

I believe this time to collect your thoughts is beginning to apppear to be time to think of what everyone wants to hear. I think when you are in real life and act without much thought.. is your real personality and completely opposite of what you show here.. so, what color does that make you now?

I do not tell people what they want to hear or else I'd have went along with you bout gay marriage or simply agreed with jp on things cost money. I was the first to oppose on both blogs I believe. I simply try to restrain my rude sarcastic remarks as it only leads to nothing more than a name calling debate.

In public I can refrain from being a complete beotch but I will react the same as I am treated. Aside from this personality quiz I took a more in depth one... this is what it says...

enjoy organizing group activities and tend to take their commitments seriously. In general, they are reliable and do not like to disappoint others. As team players and project leaders, they have a gift for rallying their players, focusing on what is being done right and each member's strengths. They are loyal and they expect loyalty. They carry conversations well, finding common ground with their speaker. They tend to find the correct and gracious way to respond in any given situation, no matter how tense or uncomfortable it is.

LOL, BeStrong, I worked all my daughter's life with the exception of her first 5 years. I wouldn't trade that time for anything. My job was important to help my husband gain his toehold in the world AND to make sure my daughter had everything she needed. I also made sure she realized she was my first priority and I was always home when she needed me to be home.

jpbiker, Winston Churchill said it best. Although he was speaking politically, I think we can use the same quote to support the idealism of youth with the reality of maturity:

"If you are not a liberal by 20 you have no heart. If you are not conservative by 40, you have no brain."

Yep, I know that quote MissNancy.

He left out libertarian, but back then conservative pretty much meant libertarian, so I'll take it that way.

BeStrong-

You should keep all your options open. Some people stay naive all their lives.

Just something to consider.

I love to discuss political philosophy. The problem I have is that liberals often assume I'm conservative and convserervatives often assume I'm liberal. It's because I'm neither. I'm libertarian, which means I believe in both social and economic freedom. I don't do personal attacks. I won't respond to yours, and I won't initiate one against you. So save yourself some time if you're thinking of flaming me!
