I have been researching these candidates, and so far, I like Rudy the best.  I thought Fred would make the better president, but he opposes certain issues I think are very important.

Out of everyone, I think Rudy is the best front runner so far.  He supports abortion rights, He has a great idea for immigration.  Rudy wants illegals that desire to become us citizens to pay back taxes!!  woo hoo...

Too bad we can't get rudy to support the fair tax...

Anyone have any input?  Please tell me who you are voting for and why! I am very interested in your opinions, and I am not strictly for anyone specific as of yet!

kyleetan, as of now I'm for FRED ! I still would like to hear his opinion on the NAFTA Super Highway and The North American Union, I think that they are both BLEEP and will RUIN America ! I would also like to hear more on his ideas about ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and plans to deal with it. Other than those three ISSUES,I agree with everything else the MAN stands for ! If his answers don't satisfy me then I will take a harder look at Rommney or Huckabee. I like them better (their platforms) than Rudy or John McCain. If someone asks why I don't consider a Democrat,it is very simple,I don't like Socialism or Communism and that's the ROAD of THEIR choice ! Good post, keep um comming girl !

I'm voting for Ron Paul. He's against NAFTA, he's against nation building, he's the only candidate that has always voted in favor of Constitutional rights, he's against fighting "wars" that are not declared by our Congress, he is against illegal immigration and opposes unlimited visas allowing greater legal immigration into the USA. He's against the North American Union and the SPP which is making regulations with Canada and Mexico without going through Congress. Ron Paul stresses individual liberties and that there should be no racial discrimination or reverse discrimination policies stating we are all created equal and we should all be treated as equals. Ron Paul is for less Federal Government programs and more State and Local Government. States should fund and regulate their public schools not the federal government. With more State and local government and less federal government, the people have more power over their own local schools and laws. Ron Paul is the best candidate to help put America back on the right path and save America from selling out to foreign corporations.

As of right now, I'm voting for Ron Paul. I would like to see the size and scope of government decrease. I am not crazy about his stance on the war and that he favors increasing the H1-B visas. I do like that he is willing to secure the boarder, lower my taxes and get the governmental enema out of my butt.

H1-B visas aren't really hurting the economy, they are actually good to have. They are for seasonal workers only. I live in Florida and there is alot of seasonal work with the fishing industry like crabbing and scallop season. These jobs are temporary so it's hard for employers to find employees that will take a seasonal job. I'm sure the farming industry in America is the same. Most people want full or part time all year round and pass when it comes to the temporary work. The employers that do take the seasonal employees from Mexico under the H1-B visa plan are required by law to hire American citizens who apply first before allowing a migrant worker the position.

The seasonal employees under the H1-B visa also have to abide by our labor laws including minimum wage and they even have to pay Federal and SS tax even though they are not entitled to the SS benefits.
