I have an idea to help those on public assistance, or those who want to work from home, get jobs. I do not know where to start or who to contact. I know some many websites that hire work at home workers. These are real companies paying real wages. No it is not secret shoppers, putting together items that get "paid by the piece" or send me money and I'll give you a worthless list of websites. I know of 6-7 companies that hire work-at-home workers and constantly hire. I would be willing to help anyone who needed help getting started. I can help train at their homes. That's the easiest thing in the world.
The requirements for starting to work at home requires a computer, dsl access, landline phone, and time. Oh and a quiet work area. The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. The start-up cost being the main drawback. However, that is where the help comes in. I don't know where to start to get my idea out there. Do you?
I have sent this idea to senators, the govenor, and others but no response. I am not looking to make money off this. I freely give my time. I just know the heartache, despair, and useless feeling of being on public assistance. I used to be that person. I want to help others because God has blessed our family.

This story just brought tears to my eyes. It is sooooo wonderful to know that there are people out there who still care. People who listen when we talk even when we think they aren't. Just thought I would share this wonderful story. So where was this family when I was in college and waitressing!?!?!?

Some lady lay dying on the floor of a convience store after being stabbed by 2 people. The clerk and store patrons doing business as usual. No wait, someone even stopped to take a picture with the dying woman and then walked away!!!! It took two (2) minutes for someone to call 911. The lady later died at the hospital from three stab wounds I believe.
Now what kind of mind-set must a person have to step over a dying woman? I ask you what kind of sick, twisted idea of fun is it to stop, take a picture, and then just walk away?!?!?! *note to self NEVER go to Witchita, KS!!!! If I ever find myself stuck inside a convience store there, for whatever reason, wear armor!
Are we as a society exposed to so much violence that when it happens right in front of our faces that it is too easy to ignore? Has television taught us as a nation to believe that all violence is a joke, or comedy, or even to look around for the "cameras" to make sure we are not being "punk'd?"

OMG I told my kids couple months back that eventually you would not need any devices. They were going to implant something in the brain so we could do things with only our minds. It was only a joke..... or so I thought.
NEVER did I believe that someone was actually doing something it!

The technology seems like a wonderful thing especially for those who are handicapped or disabled. What do you think?

I have been ordering glasses over the internet for about 6 months now. I and my son wear glasses so it gets pretty expensive. I have nothing but good to say about the glasses I get.
The quality is comparable to those I have previously purcahsed at Lenscrafters.
The two best sites I have found are: goggles4u.com and zenniopticals.com You can get well made glasses for as little as $8 dollars. They last and the fit is perfect if you measure right; and, yes you can measure on your own!!!
The only probs I found was figuring out how to change inches to millimeters
never good at math. I cheated
I used a change calculator online...lol.. no I am not smarter than a fifth grader when it comes to math

Truly amazing what they can do these days! Now if your late on car payment they can disable your car. Talk about Big Brother invasion.
I can see a future where we all are lead around like sheep to the slaughter. Hmmmm, can we still classify science fiction movies such as "WAR GAMES, i.ROBOT, FIFTH ELEMENT, TERMINATOR, ETC..." as science fiction or must we change them to the fiction? What do you think?

I cannot believe what a blind justice system we have. Paris is already of out jail after only 5 days????? Who made this decision and what the heck do they mean she was let out early due to "medical conditions." What medical condition can she possibly have that other people who are in jail with, hiv, aids or cancer don't have? What can be any worse than these?
This is not only a joke system but it just proves that if you have money you have an instant get out of jail free card. They say Paris Hilton paid her debt to society after she serves 40 days house arrest. The only debt she paid was to the judge, warden, police, and prosecutors and it's called a bribe... this was a travesty.
There will never be any real justice for celebrities, even the worst leaches like Paris Hilton can commit any crime without any consequences.

What!?!?!?! This poor woman was attacked on a plane and all the stewardess says," it happens to me every flight." What a bunch of bull.... I hope this lady sues because I can promise if it had been me the whole flight would have known what a perv this guy was!
I guess the skies aren't so friendly anymore. Laws concerning flight, cruises, travel in general need to be better. After all the attacks, murders, rapes in the news lately seems it would be better and safer not to travel at all. Have you tried a day at Disney or Universal lately? You take your life into you own hands with the pushing, shoving, and nastiness of some people. They are supposed to be the happiest places on earth! My foot

Ok... it is time to say enough is enough. It is time to make sure that our children feel the same safety we felt when we were children going to school.
I believe that there is no way to protect them 24/7. This is a given. However, I would propose a security system placed in all schools with cameras. I would suggest that there be people to watch these cameras at all times during school hours. NOT the office staff. These individuals have enough to do. I mean guards/security separate from school staff.
Their only responsiblity to be to watch these cameras for people entering or leaving school grounds. Watching what they have in their hands and where they go. I am not saying this will completely eliminate the risk However, if there was an alarm that they could push if they suspected a suspicous person then that would at least allow staff and students time to get to the nearest safe place and lock doors.
Just my thought. What do you think?
