She came across as a folksy soccer/hockey mom.  I don't think she was educated too well at McCains "Boot Camp".  She didn't answer too many questions, was it because she didn't have a answer or didn't understand the questions?  She's dumber than a fifth grader!  Even with  Biden being very restrained.  If she had been a man, he would have torn him (her) a new a$$ hole.

Who watched Charlie Gibson's interview of Palin, last night?
Her body language gave her away.  When he would ask her a clear concise question that she clearly didn't understand, her left eye would twitch while she was searching for a answer.  When he asked a question she did understand, she would lean toward him, in an aggressive manner and go around robin's barn to get to the answer.
His body posture, clearly showed an "I give up" attitude due to her lack of professionalism.  Obviously she can't answer specific questions unless the answers on a teleprompter.

As an Alaskan, I am writing to give all of you some information on Sarah Palin, Senator McCain's choice for VP. As an Alaska voter, I know more than most of you about her and, frankly, I am horrified that he picked her.

The most accurate description of her is red neck. Her husband works in the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay and races snow mobiles. She is a life time member of the NRA and has worked tirelessly to allow indiscriminate hunting of wildlife in Alaska , particularly wolves and bears. She has spent millions of Alaska state dollars on aerial
hunting of these predators from helicopters and airplanes, dollars that should have been spent, for example, on Alaska 's failing school system.We have the lowest rate of high school graduation in the country. Not all of you may think aerial predator hunting is so bad, but how anyone (other than Alaska wolf-haters, of which there are
many, most without teeth), could think this use of funds is appropriate is beyond me. If you want to know more about the aerial hunting travesty, let me know and I will send some links to informative web sites.

She has been a strong supporter of increased use of fossil fuels, yet the McCain campaign has the nerve to say she has "green" policies. The only thing green about Sarah Palin is her lack of experience. She has consistently supported drilling in ANWR, use of coal-burning power plants (as I write this, a new coal plant is being built in her home town of Wasilla), strip mining, and almost anything else that will unnecessarily exploit the diminishing resources of Alaska and destroy its environment.

Prior to her one year as governor of Alaska, she was mayor of Wasilla, a small red neck town outside Anchorage.The average maximum education level of parents of junior high school kids in Wasilla is 10th grade. Unfortunately, I have to go to Wasilla every week to get groceries and other supplies, so I have continual contact with the people who put Palin in office in the first place. I know what I'm talking about. These people don't have a concept of the world around them or of the serious issues facing the US . Furthermore, they don't care. So long as they can go out and hunt their moose every fall, kill wolves and bears and drive their snow mobiles and ATVs through every corner of the wilderness, they're happy. I wish I were exaggerating.

Sarah Palin is currently involved in a political corruption scandal. She fired an individual in law enforcement here because she didn't like how he treated one of her relatives during a divorce. The man's performance and ability weren't considered; it was a totally personal firing and is currently under investigation. While the issue isn't close to the scandal of Ted Steven's corruption, it shows that Palin isn't "squeaky clean" and causes me to think there ay be more issues that could come to light. Clearly McCain doesn't care.

When you line Palin up with Biden, the comparison would be laughable if it weren't so serious. Sarah Palin knows nothing of economics (admittedly a weak area for McCain), or of international affairs, knows nothing of national government, Social Security, unemployment, health care systems - you name it. The idea of her meeting with heads
of foreign governments around the world truly frightens me.

In an increasingly dangerous world, with the economy in shambles in the US , Sarah Palin is uniquely UNqualified to be vice president. John McCain is not a young man. Should something happen to him such that the vice president had to step in, it would destroy our country and possibly the world to have someone as inexperienced and inappropriate
as Sarah Palin. The choice of Palin is a cheap shot by McCain to try to get Hillary supporters to vote for him. when McCain introduced her today, Palin had the nerve to compare herself with Hillary and Geraldine Ferraro. Sarah Palin, you are no Hillary Clinton.

To those of you who, like me, supported Hilary and were upset that she did not get the nomination, please don't think that Sarah Palin is a worthy substitute. If you supported Hillary, regardless of what you think the media and the democratic party may have done to undermine her campaign, the person to support now is Obama, not Sarah Palin. To those of you who are independent or undecided, don't let the choice of Palin sway you in favor of McCain. Choosing her shows how unqualified McCain is to be president. To those of you who are conservative, I
guess you have no choice for president. But please try to see how the poor choice of Palin tells us a great deal about McCain's judgment. While the political posturing inherent in the choice of Palin is obvious, the more serious issue is the fact that the VP is, literally, a heartbeat away from the presidency. Sarah Palin is totally and unequivocally unqualified to be vice president, let alone president.

I know this is a lengthy and emotional email, but the stakes are high. I thought it might help for all of you, regardless of political affiliation, to know something about Palin from someone who has to live with her administration in Alaska on a daily basis.

I happened to catch most of her speech and thought it was the lamest thing I'd ever heard.  It sounded more like a campaign speech for McCain.  She's very good at sucking up.  Beyond that, just because she's a hunter doesn't mean she's a good choice for V.P.

I'm surprised there haven't blogs popping up all over, concerning this surprising story about Palin's 17 year old daughter being pregnant and not married.

Any comments on it?

Obama's not even president, yet and already there was a plot to assassinate him in Denver.  Maybe he should drop out right not, before someone else plans the same thing.

Your vote against an amendment to the  immigration Bill 1348.... to make English America's official language is  astounding.

On D-Day, no less, when we honor those that sacrificed in  order to secure the bedrock,
character and principles of America, I can only  surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.

I don't much  care where you come from. What your religion is. Whether you're black, white,  or some other color...male or female......Democrat, Republican or  Independent...... This  is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have  disgraced themselves as 'political Hacks'..... Unworthy as Senators and  certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States  .

If  America is as angry as I am, you will realize a backlash so stunning it will  literally 'rock you out of your socks'... And preferably totally out of  the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce...  Your action only confirms this really isn't about America... it is about  self-serving politics......despicable at best. It has been said: 'Never Argue  with an Idiot....They'll drag you down to their level!'

I'm sure everyone has heard or seen The New Yorker cover, that is causing such a controversy.  This has been a satirical publication for many years and has never stirred up so much hype.  Their cartoons have jabbed at everyone from world leaders to baseball players.  Now all of a sudden they're being criticized about the cover with Obamas on it.  Aren't we getting just a little too sensitive?  Is this politically incorrect just because of their race?
It seems to me anyone that chooses to run for president should take a good long look at the fact they will be scrutinized, made fun of, even humiliated (in some cases) because of their background or because of a stupid statement that they make.  Frankly, I don't know if Michelle is a terrorist or not.  I don't know that Barrack is a Muslim or not.  I do know that as a child he was schooled in Indonesia, and that is the world's largest Islamic Country, with a 90% Muslim population.  Coincidence, whatever!
"If it's too hot, get out of the kitchen".  Even John McCain can make jokes and laugh at himself about being "very, very, very old".  I be if the The New Yorker would put him on the cover as Father Time it would be alright.
The comedians have had a ball with their jokes and comments about Bill Clinton, for years.  That's alright because he's white.  Now they have to walk on eggshells where Obama is concerned.  Are we to give up our "freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" because of all the sensitivity or that it's "politically incorrect"?  Come on, this is America!
I say, if you choose this road, be prepared, keep a sense of humor and if you can't laugh at yourself, "pull up your big boy/girl pants" and move it or lose it.

CANDIDATE FOR REAL CHANGE!  THIS IS THE PLATFORM:

(1) 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. English is the official language, speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two-year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. No imports, no exports.
We will use the 'Wal-Mart's policy: 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border (six month tour).
They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin' in, you ain't gettin' nuttin' out. The president (nor any other politician) will not be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare:checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40-hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes: steroids - The FIRST time you check positive ,,,,, banned for life.

(8) Crime: We will adopt the Turkish method: the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There are no more life sentences. If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim: gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Hey, folks, Want to participate in tweaking the Drive-By Media?  You are aware, probably, that Barack Obama lost his bearings recently and said that he was going to campaign in all 57 states.  You heard this?  And everybody chalked it up to, 'Well, he's tired.' 

You know, this is a Dan Quayle moment.  I mean, Dan Quayle goes out there and misspells 'potato,' and we still hear jokes about it.  Barack Obama says he's gonna go out and campaign in 57 states, he was just tired, you know, it's been such a long campaign, he's been so many places, he probably thinks there are 57 states.  Well, I have here a printout from a website called the International Humanist and Ethical Union .  And here is how the second paragraph of an article on that website begins.  'Every year from 1999 to 2005 the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states presented a resolution to the United Nations commission on human rights called combating.' 

We're participating here in a tweak of the media.  Obama said he's going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states.  'Every year from 1999 to 2005, the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states,' this is from the International Humanist and Ethical Union .  And the title of the piece here is, 'How the Islamic states dominate the UN human rights council,' and there are 57 of them. 

So did Obama just lose his bearings, or was this a more telling slip, ladies and gentlemen? Will YOU be deceived by this man ?

Did anyone happen to hear the speech that McCain made on CNN this morning.  I didn't get in on the first part, but it sounded like his view is that we should "sit down" with the Castro administration to negotiate for freedom and democracy for the Cuban people. 

We tried that in Iraq, by getting rid of Hussein,  and they still aren't able to function on their own.  Now, McCain wants to do the same thing in Cuba?  Is he that naive to think that you can use diplomacy to deal with these people.  How many times do we have to be the saviours before we realize some people just can't be, or don't want to be saved?

If anyone heard this speech, please let me know if I misinterpreted what was said.

Well it's finally happened.  Eva Gabor's husband, Prince (something or other, from Germany) made the comment that Mrs. Obama looks like a washer woman.  Not just once but twice.  Guess who's getting involved, now?  If you said Al Sharpton you're right.  He stated that it was a "racist remark".  If he gets involved in a confrontation with the Prince, wonder how that might affect Barack's campaigning.  Any guesses?
