I am curious, did anyone else notice the woman in the leopard print standing behind the sobbing man trying to make a statement?  She gave one of those "whatever looks" at the guy and then she rolled her eyes.  It wasn't Amber Lee's husband, I am not sure how he was related but then a little later she is giving him a hug.  It doesn't make sense to me.   Did anyone else notice that?  I wonder what it meant.

I am pretty sure the sobbing man was Amber Lee's father - As to the rest, hadn't noticed

This is a link to the video of what you are reffering & I think the part is about halfway through the video and the man standing next to her Michelled Is her husband, I am not sure who she is or why she done it either....The eye roll can be seen plain as day and would be nice to know exactly what she was rolling them about.

She may have been relieved that at least they knew where she was now, kinda looks like family may be her sister.?!? Don't know but it is a little disturbing...
Who's to say how one might react you know...may have been annoyed with the repeated questions that they can't answer without fudging the whole case!!

It looks like she was just trying to hold in her emotions. This is a very horrible act and they all had to be in shock. This is so tragic. I heard tonight about a person who saw them while they were in traffic and the poor woman was hitting the passenger windows with both hands screaming and trying to alert anyone. How awful..what a tortuous death march she was on. There is nothing anyone can do but hope that this evil person gets what he deserves.

I am going to try and be kinder and gentler on this one after all the kind words.

Dearest Michelle,

I reviewed the video you referenced, and like Ms Randyloo said, I also believe that the women in question was choking back emotions and not rolling her eyes. As you will note it occurs right after Amber Lee's father gets choked up speaking about her. I think if you go back and review the video, you will see that it is more plausable that she is fighting back emotions rather than rolling her eyes.

Kind Regards,

(WoW...made it through that without accusing her of partaking with Freak!)

FTP, I have watched it over and over again because it is so disturbing to me. I had not even noticed that they had identified him as her father because I was so focused on that look. I do not know why she made that jesture or even what it meant, but I am not trying to take anything away from the family. I was just asking if anyone else noticed it.

The whole thing is disturbing to me. How could 3 people call the police and there was no way to save her? It is horrid and frightening! I don't know how her family can endure this, I wish them peace.

Good questions Michelle. Maybe this will encourage all of us to be on the alert to situations that are questionable and intervene with a 911 call that is followed up on ASAP.
I was in traffic one summer day and saw a man backhand the woman who was with him and then he opened the door and shoved her out. I did nothing. I have regretted that over and over.

OMG Randyloo, that must have horrible to witness. My office at the bank used to look down into the drive thru. I can not tell you how many times I have witnessed parents smacking the heck out of their kids or drinking beer from open containers. I finally got fed up with it and started reporting them along with the tag number. I don't know if it did any good. You can not hold on to regret, it can eat at you. You know deep down even if you did help her this time she would probably just go back to him.

I had a friend when I was in my early 20's and our children were the same age. Her husband was horrible to her, but she put up with it for years. She finally found the strength to leave him and he stabbed her to death in a parking lot that is now where our Sheriff Office is located. If the man in the car wanted to hurt this woman, he would find a way to do it.
