This is an elected official. He can't manage the budget for his dept or the jails he oversees. But he can take time out to see that socialites deserve to get out of jail early.
So she didn't eat and couldn't handle the mental anguish of imprisionment???? Good it should teach her and her friends that drinking and driving and breaking the laws are wrong and that there are consequences. If she was mentally unfit then send her ass to a psychiatric locked down facility. If she won't eat feed her with an IV. after 3 efin days I highly doubt it was medically damamging not to eat. SHe could have survived on fluids for at least 2 weeks.
Every inmate should go on a hunger strike. Why do we even have a jail? What does it even matter.
To Mr. Baca you are a why cops are called PIGS. You are the reason why the citizens of the poorest community despise and distrust law enforcement. You are the reason why people distrust those who should protect and serve. You are the reason why people don't come forward with information on crimes to help law enforcement. Because you Mr. Baca only give a care about what money says and those without it mean nothing to you. Those without money can be caged in enviroments swelling beyond reason like animals yet socialites who claim to be mentally incapable can go stay in their Hollywood Hills home. It's appalling. I will no longer have sympathy for the struggles the Sheriffs Dept goes through because the problem with the Sheriffs dept lie with their leader and he needs to go. If you were mentally capable of attending the MTV movie awards the day before you began your sentence I think 23 days will be ok. And what the hell with the 23 days???? I was unaware you got a good behavior credit before you stepped into jail. What are the guidelines to fullfill the assumption that you will be a model prisoner???
