This gentleman is a man I work with.  He and his band are looking for an audience and the possibility of going big-time.  At this time, I do not have any songs to upload, but I should have a video of his band playing sometime soon.

Edit:  This show will be a battle of the bands, 5 bands total, including Bill's band.

Second edit:  This band will also have a show at Marty's Blues Cafe in Merriam, KS, Thursday July 10th.  The meeting starts at 7pm to determine the order the bands will play, so arrive at or just before 7pm.  I would greatly appreciate some assistance in giving Bill's band some recognition in the music arena, so anyone who can show up to support the band, please do so.

Update:  The band is working on getting a CD made with some songs on it.  The CD should be ready in a few weeks.  I will get a copy of the CD and upload some songs when they get one made.

Billy Joel - Only The Good Die Young...This song tells how I feel about religion;

Billy Joel - My Life...This song tells how I feel about what other people think of my life;

Cascada - Kids In America...This song is another one that tells how I feel about life;

Garth Brooks - We Shall Be Free...This song is my definition of "freedom";

Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot...This song tells how I feel when people get upset towards me;

Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name...This is how I feel about deadbeats, abusive men, and people who cheat on their spouses;

Alice Cooper - Between High School and Old School...This song is how I feel about what people think of me;

Harry Chapin - Cat's In The Cradle...This song describes the majority of families in America;

and finally:

Aretha Franklin - RESPECT...This song tells what this world needs more of...

What are your favorite songs and why did you choose them?

Does anyone know the name and artist of the Christmas song that starts out something like "Hey, Santa...Hey, Santa...I've wished with all my might that my baby will be home for Christmas tonight" and the song talks about how a woman is waiting for her man to come home for Christmas and wishes that Santa would give him a ride.

Cascada...My favorite singer...This music video is her remake of Savage Garden's Truly Madly Deeply. I hope Cascada can come to Kansas City for a concert sometime. www.cascadamusic.de is her site.  Here's the kicker:  All the music is done using only two synthesizers, played by two DJ's who are also the producers.  Cascada (AKA Natalie Horler) is the singer.

I am a no-nonsense, no-BS kind of person who is not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. I am brutally honest in my feelings and opinions; I am a bit of a nit-picker, always a very vocal critic of people's actions, and I do not make any exceptions; I have a ferociously barbed tongue, and I will not hesitate to use it to give people verbal tongue-lashings if I feel they deserve it. I stand up to people of authority if I feel the decisions they are making are just plain stupid, and I am not afraid to disobey a direct order and do things my own way if I feel I can do the job better and more efficiently my own way. I am an independent and open-minded thinker who does not like working as a team unless that team is coordinated and knows what they need to do to accomplish the goal. My biggest pet peeve are people who have a "my way or the highway" mindset. I say what I want, I do what I want, I get what I want. END OF STORY!
