I am starting a fishing club for those who own kayaks, sailboats, paddle boats, or other non-motorized watercraft.  All information about the club can be found at the website: http://www.freewebs.com/kayakfishersclub/index.htm
and anyone who is interested in joining may register with the forums.  Membership with the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society is required, and all club members must become BASS members within 6 months of joining.

I honestly think there are a bunch of cheaters in NASCAR...Whenever a Toyota Camry is about to win any race, a caution is thrown and an American-made car ends up winning. I am amazed - no, aghast - that the idiot NASCAR executives think they can get away with this. I am also aghast that none of the American car drivers in NASCAR are even giving the Toyotas a fair chance. But, nothing irritates me more than peoples' hatred towards any foreign automaker. This so-called "Buy American" BS is annoying me like a bothersome fly. It makes me sick that Americans still think they are the kings and queens of the world and that everyone else has to bow down to them. NASCAR is rigged, like every other sport, save for fishing, if you even consider fishing a sport. At least fishing tournaments have HONEST competition and people follow the rules instead of cheating. Bah. Doesn't matter anyway. None of you Americans will ever change your ways. Its always all about you. All you care about are yourselves and money. That's it. I rambled on enough. Now, I must leave. Until next time, sayonara Americans.

I am planning to compete in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournaments, Division 16. There will be 5 tournaments in Division 16. Four qualifiers and one divisional championship. Payouts for each qualifier can reach a maximum of $3,000 and payout for the divisional championship will be a maximum of $4,500 for co-angers. If I finish in the top 8, I could qualify for the nationals, which would have a maximum payout of $50,000 for co-anglers. I am hoping I do well, and ESPN or ESPN2 would have the Weekend Series tournaments on the channel the days of the tournaments.

I hope you all will follow my progress through the tournaments, and I hope I can come home in the top 8. Only time will tell, though.

The Weekend Series tournament schedule is as follows:
Missouri Division 16 Date: 2008-03-15 Location: Lake of the Ozarks - State Park/PB2

Missouri Division 16 Date: 2008-04-19 Location: Stockton Lake - Orleans Trail Marina

Missouri Division 16 Date: 2008-05-17 Location: Table Rock Lake - Port of Kimberling

Missouri Division 16 Date: 2008-06-21 Location: Lake of the Ozarks - Drake Harbor

Missouri Division 16 Dates: 2008-09-06 and 2008-09-07 Location: Truman Lake - Long Shoal Marina

I hope you all will follow my progress through each of these five tournaments, and I look forward to coming home in the top 8.  The one at Truman Lake will be the divisional championship.

Why doesn't Fox 4 ever do a sports segment for those of us who like fishing?  I am always stuck having to fight over the remote just so I can watch the bass tournaments on ESPN, but many times, I lose the fight.  I wish there was a way people with over-the-air TVs could get to watch their favorite sports on TV without having to worry about fighting relatives over the remote.  I don't even get to watch my favorite shows on Court TV, The History Channel, and The Discovery Channel because my step dad hogs the remote all the time and the only TV in my bedroom uses over-the-air antennas for reception.  The TV in my bedroom is over-the-air, but the TV downstairs (the one my step dad hogs) is cable.  We use Time Warner Cable, and it already costs my family almost $200/month just for digital phone, internet for 4 computers, and cable TV for two TVs (the main one, and one in my mom and step dad's bedroom).  It is too expensive to hook up all the TVs in the house to the cable connection, and I really miss watching my favorite shows...

41-0 against San Fransisco. Herm Edwards as new head coach. Could this be the dawn of a new era of Kansas City Chiefs football? Has Kansas City finally made a name for itself? If the Chiefs are reading this, all I am going to say is this: Let's put Kansas City on the map for good. Show the NFL how football is meant to be played.

I am a no-nonsense, no-BS kind of person who is not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. I am brutally honest in my feelings and opinions; I am a bit of a nit-picker, always a very vocal critic of people's actions, and I do not make any exceptions; I have a ferociously barbed tongue, and I will not hesitate to use it to give people verbal tongue-lashings if I feel they deserve it. I stand up to people of authority if I feel the decisions they are making are just plain stupid, and I am not afraid to disobey a direct order and do things my own way if I feel I can do the job better and more efficiently my own way. I am an independent and open-minded thinker who does not like working as a team unless that team is coordinated and knows what they need to do to accomplish the goal. My biggest pet peeve are people who have a "my way or the highway" mindset. I say what I want, I do what I want, I get what I want. END OF STORY!
