With the Chiefs tied with Atlanta for the worst offense in the  NFL at 135 points points scored all year, running coach Edwards decided to with a KC drafted quarterback.  The first since Todd Blackledge started in 1983.  Huard got the vote of confidence last week when Edwards said, "he's our quarterback."   Croyle must have improved leaps and bounds sitting on the bench since preseason when he was given game after game to prove himself and didn't.   Any chance the Chiefs can avoid the embarrassment of playing an angry Indy team and just call in the loss over the phone?

The reason Croyle received game time was because Huard got hurt during the game

Per a KCSTAR reporter, Huard said he could have gone back in. His feelings were probably hurt the most. But with the offensive line in front of him, he won't last either. Wonder who the 3rd string is?

It may help that Dwight Freeney is out. They won't win but maybe they won't get their QB killed. The O-Line is a disaster and the fact they neglected that part of the team over the past few years in the draft and offseason acquisitions has come back to bite them. My 6-10 prediction could be in jeopardy. They still have the Raiders and the Jets on the schedule to reach that goal.

That's a sad division this year. Many years ago the Chiefs Raiders or Chiefs Broncos were games. Even San Diego was good. This year the whole division is horrible.

With Freeney and possibly Bob Sanders out, Croyle could actually have a decent game. It's the playcalling that has been awful.
