Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran requested an official visit to the World Trade Center site in New York. He is here to address the U.N. general Assembly. At first the city stated they would consider the request, but after much backlash and outrage, promptly denied the request. This is after he approved the execution of two homosexuals in Terhan just before his trip to New York. They had previously suffered the lash, and apon Mahmouds decree were drug out into the public execution square and hung together.

Oh ya, also he hates all Jews, christians, catholics, and Americans. This guy should be taken to the hole at ground zero and shot in the head.

Ok that may not have been P.c., but he really bugs me. Everyone should study up on this guy, he will be in all of our futures. Scary...

The NYPD could help out by doing "traffic control" due to "construction reasons" all around the site that day to keep his whole motorcade out of the area. He doesn't need to be there.

I'm sure the wreath he would be laying would be for the terrorists that he probably considers martyrs.

I don't even know why they are letting the psycho into the city. As far as I'm concerned, they can sit the UN in France and let Europe support it for awhile. We could use the building to house a lot of homeless people. At least it would be put to some kind of use, better than now.

Kill him with kindness. Lock him in a room with twenty old ladies wearing aprons and pinching his cheek, shoving apple pie down his throat, crocheting non-stop as they prattle on about what a cutey Ahmadinejady he is, that little dimple cheeked boy.

In three months, give him a pistol and televise his suicide.

It's not a good idea! I support free speech and all that but this is just asking for trouble. The only reason he should be here is if he is imprisoned.

I never understood as to the logic of locating the UN here, as it makes sense of such an organization within a traditionally neutral country., But Miss Nancy, I'd bet that building could house just about every homeless individual on the eastern seaboard.

Wow Caricew, I hope I never peve you, especially if you only have rutabaga pie at hand. Your right, as I agree he does look boyish.

This week, it appears Columbia College will have him as a guest speaker.

So once again we (as in American's) are letting them in our Country. Didn't we learn from the last time we started letting them in. Now we are giving them more insite to our schools, business, etc..... Look out for a repeat of some kind of attack. May the Good Lord be with us all.

We would do well to remember that Ahmadinejad is the elected leader of a nation. His views may seem crazy and evil to us, but he and many Iranians obviously see us exactly the same way. We can refuse to engage with Iran, or Syria, or N. Korea, or anyone else, but what do we gain by doing that? If we've learned nothing in the last eight years, we should have learned than blowing off countries that don't agree with us, or trying to bully them, doesn't work. It makes the world worse, not better.

I have heard about the president of iran's visit on the news and have read the blogs about this. I still can not come to grips with why the US is letting him come here. Let alone, speak at a college. I am glad they are not letting him go to ground zero. He has no buisness there. I pray that nothing happens today. It is scarey. We are letting the leaders of nations that have physically hurt the US come on in. God be with us all today.

It must not be a well known fact, but the UN building is not on US soil. That land has been designated as international territory. The college, on the other hand...

Wondering, "them?" Who is "them?" it is one person.
