Nothing I can ever do can please God.
But one did do something that was the only acceptable sacrifice,
and because of that sacrifice,
we can reveal the face of God.
Too bad I'm not good at it.
In fact, I'm horrible at it.
There is nothing about me that is good or righteous.
I have lied, I have cheated, I have stolen.
I have been angry with my brother, I have looked upon the opposite sex with lust.
I have looked upon other men's wives with envy.
I have used the name of the most high God without His permission
and have not given Him the 7th day
I have placed other gods as the priority in my life
I have worshiped the graven images of money
I have denied the one true God.
I am a worker of iniquity
I am a man of unclean lips
That's why I am so grateful
God uses whom He chooses
and He chooses whom He uses.
God, Forgive me, for I have sinned
I have missed the mark
I deserve an eternity apart from God
But, He says:
"NO, I have another plan".

This is what I hear when I hear Barak Obama speak.

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Not once has he unveiled any plans for anything.
He has spent more time criticizing than on anything else, never offering a solution to anything.

He is in fact a threat to our freedoms in the U.S., and around the world.

Anytime he has claimed to have an idea of his own, it always turns out that it was somebody else's idea, and it has always been flawed.

Obama is bad for America and Bad for the WORLD.

I don't like Clinton or McCain either, but at least they have expressed plans on a few things.

Am I judging?  You bet your sweet behind I am.

I've included the article I read on Yahoo! News.  It's interesting that most of the article is based on lies and partial truths.

I've inserted into the article what the "probable" truth really is.

TALLAHASSEE (AP)
- Florida's latest traffic numbers show you're more likely to die in a crash if you don't buckle up, so police across the state are trying to get more people to wear seat belts in the coming weeks.    TRUTH- Police across the state are in fact instituting this campaign again for one reason, and one reason only, to put more money into the public coffers.  There is no other reason for this.

Police are kicking off the "Click It or Ticket" campaign -- which will run through Memorial Day Weekend.

Authorities say too many people are needlessly dying every year because they don't take a couple of seconds to buckle up. Seat belt usage is estimated at 79 percent in Florida.  TRUTH- The fact of the matter is that 70% of traffic accidents that result in fatality(This is from the NTSB), the occupants would have died whether they had a seatbelt on or not.

Supporters of the "Click It or Ticket" campaign hope the effort boosts that to 85 percent.
TRUTH- Supporters of the program?  Who are they?  They are the liars that would have you believe that this law more often than not saves lives.  The fact is they don't know if they save lives or not in a majority of the cases.  It is nothing more than a money maker.

Traffic crashes killed 35 people in Florida over Memorial Day weekend last year.  TRUTH- Based on NTSB stats, 22 of those 35 would have died in those accidents anyway, whether they wore a seatbelt or not.

There is no place in heaven for liars, and they will take their place in the lake of fire.
Rev. 21:8

Here in Hernando County/Brooksville, our current republican congressional rep is running for re-election. She is a republican. We now have a few democrats running as well. Two who paid the fee to run, and one who got the signatures. I'm focusing in on one candidate, Carol Castagnero, who is running as a democrat. She is a retired school teacher. When I met her outside the main branch of the Hernando library, I thought, "what a nutjob".  No apologies for that, she seemed to be ranting a raving like I don't know what.  But then I continue to read about the current congresswomen and her arrogance, and one other candidate who is running out of spite. While I can't in good faith vote for a democrat, if I were one, I would vote for Carol. She couldn't do any worse than the people who are there now. Why not give her a chance? She's a bit eccentric upon meeting her, and nutjob may be a little out of line, but we already have 535 nutjobs in congress, what's one more?

They get 1/3 of their budget from us, the taxpayers.
This last budget cycle, to the tune of 337 million dollars.
They have over 1 billion dollars in assets.
They are spending over 10 million dollars this election cycle
They have a budget surplus of over 114 million dollars
Not Bad for being in the business of killing unborn babies
They are now finding themselves in more and more precarious situations

Here's more:

Planned Parenthood's latest trouble began when a feisty pro-life student magazine called Planned Parenthood offices in seven states, posing as an openly racist donor seeking to make sure his check could be earmarked to abort "a black baby." The resulting phone conversations are horrifying listening. (Judge for yourself at www.youtube.com./watch?v=zwif0VMW3c4.)

According to the group, Planned Parenthood officers in at least four states agreed not only to accept the racists' check, but to actually earmark the donation for that purpose. "The less black kids the better," the caller tells one Planned Parenthood employee. "For whatever reason we'll accept the money," was one typical response.

---------------------------------------------------
-----------------

I have maintained all along that Planned Parenthood is one of the worst things that has happened to this country. They are treading into deeper waters and I look for the communist organization to get even larger as so many Americans are begging to give up their rights. PP is nothing more than a criminal organization that preys upon young expectant mothers, and they counsel these women to have abortions. For the most part, they incessantly tell these young women that abortion is the best option. They do not offer adoption, or even keeping the baby s an option. Yes, there are SOME in the organization that do offer the other options, but they are few and far between. The name of the organization should not be Planned Parenthood, for that is a lie, it should be Abortions R US.

ON another note, I found it interesting that Cardinal Egan has forbidden Rudy Giuliani from receiving the Eucharist (Communion). Yet, when the pope visited New York, Rudy took communion anyway. Rudy is pro-choice, and the Catholic empire is pro-life. The cardinal told Rudy not to take communion because of his position on abortion. I guess Rudy Disagrees. I'm glad he's out of the race too.

For those who are wondering, I am Pro - Life, and believe that abortion is nothing more than murder 99% of the time.  If you don't like it, tough.  I'm not asking, nor do I answer to you.

When I first started blogging, the blog page was updated regularly throughout the day, even on the weekend.  Now it has slowed down.  What is going on with that?  has FOX35 had layoffs?  Are bloggers and bloggetts not important enough to update the page?  Are we often forgotten?  Have we lost our touch?  Are there not enough interesting blogs?  I have seen the blog page go 48 hours recently without any updates/new blogs.  I haven't seen northton featured lately either, northton writes some pretty good blogs, not as good as mine of course.

I got this from Yahoo!  What do you think?  I have heard criticism from right here in the U.S. that Barbie has done more damage than good in our culture.  Is Iran right on this?  I would hate to think that Iran could be right about anything, so, are they?
______________________________________

TEHRAN, Iran - A top Iranian judiciary official warned Monday against the "destructive" cultural and social consequences of importing Barbie dolls and other Western toys.

In the latest salvo in a more than decade-old government campaign against Barbie, Prosecutor General Ghorban Ali Dori Najafabadi said in an official letter to Vice President Parviz Davoudi that the doll and other Western toys are a "danger" that need to be stopped.

"The irregular importation of such toys, which unfortunately arrive through unofficial sources and smuggling, is destructive culturally and a social danger," said the letter, a copy of which was made available to The Associated Press.

Iranian markets have been inundated with smuggled Western toys in recent years partly due to a dramatic rise in purchasing power as a result of increased oil revenues.

While importing the toys is not necessarily illegal, it is discouraged by a government that seeks to protect Iranians from what it calls the negative effects of Western culture.

Do you ever get a gut feeling about someone that won't go away?  Sometimes it's a good feeling, but it's usually a bad bad bad feeling.  I'm not talking about first impressions.  They really are not a good indicator.  My first impressions have often been wrong.  But my gut feelings about bad bad bad bad people have never ever been wrong. Not once.

Here's what I am feeling.
Barak Obama.
I don't know him, but I'm sure I do not like him.
The gut feeling I get?  PURE EVIL.  DECEIT. LIES. PATHOLOGICAL

Look out America!
My gut feeling on Barak has only gone stronger.
If Obama is elected, I am positive it will unleash the worst situations we have seen in this country since the American Revolution.
Look for oppression from every side.  Look for laws that strip everyone of their rights.  Look for executive orders that lead this country into a pit of degradation.  Look for people to be imprisoned for speaking up.  Look for people to disappear who are in any way opposed to his policies.

He is not a man to be trusted.

If you think George W. Bush is BAD, as I do, you have not seen anything yet.

Watch out America, the worst terror this country has ever seen could be elected as your next president, and his name is Barak Obama.

I make no apologies whatsoever for these statements.  They are from the heart.
If I turn up missing, make sure you tell someone.

What's the big deal?  A license plate with a cross / stained glass window with the words I BELIEVE at the bottom.

The ACLU says they would challenge it.  But they also said they would challenge it if an atheist plate with the words I DON'T BELIEVE were on it.  Some how, I think the latter statement is false.

But, we do have bumper stickers that allow those to tout their faith on the rear end of their cars.

But it's funny ya know?  How many people with those Jesus Bumper Stickers have no problem flipping you the bird in traffic.

If they can get the plate, they'd probably still flip the bird.

On the other hand, with some 100 choices for a license plate in Florida, what's one more?

I'm offended by the Gators (Hurricanes and Wolverine fan here), but I don't get all bent out of shape when I see their plates.

I guess if we can't let Christians have their own license plate, then we need to eliminate all of the plates and go back to the green and white sunshine state plate for everyone.

I'll never get used to these young "men" wearing their trousers down to their knees showing off their underwear.  But now, it has gone on so long that some of them have grown up into what are supposed to be ADULTS, and they are still wearing their clothes the same way.

I was in Circuit City, and the young man that was assisting me, had his shirt not been REALLY long and tucked in, there is no doubt that his skivvies would be showing.

Where is the professionalism?

My cousin worked as a printer in the Pinecastle area, and his boss, who is in his mid forties was wearing his pants a might low too, just like his 19 year old son.

The next thing you know we're going to see reporters on FOX wearing their pants down to their ankles.

I just don't get it.  Enough is enough.  It's time for these "ADULTS" to grow out of their rebellious stage.  It's not attractive, it looks totally stupid, and the next time I see that kid at Circuit City, I'm going to tell him, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, "HEY KID, PULL YOUR PANTS UP"!  But maybe CC will get wind of this before that and they will FIRE the twirp.

Thanks for letting me vent.  Now it's YOUR turn.

I especially want to hear from the ladies.  Do you think men should pull them up?  Or is this supposed to be sexy or something.  Enlighten me.

Well, the White House released the tax information and income for both President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

I found it interesting that the Bushes gave more than 10% of their combined income to charity, over 165K.  This on a reported income of over 923K.

The Cheneys however earned over 3 million and gave about 166K to charity.

Who's the bigger giver?

If YOU made that much money, how much of it would you give to charity?

Does this make you think that Cheney is greedier than Bush?  Or maybe Cheney gave more to charity than he is reporting?

I know people who regularly give 10% of their income to a local church, and then they give more to charity, on far less than what the Pres and VP make.

How much do you give?  How much should you give?

Frank, I'm not judging, I'm just making an observation.

Today I accompanied a friend to court. I was a witness for a speeding ticket. I was there, I know beyond any doubt that my friend was not speeding on the night of October 19th, 2007.

As I sat in the courtroom, defendant after defendant approached the podium, all there for the same "trooper". His name? I don't know his first name, but his last name is Williams, and he is a corporal with the FHP at the Brooksville post.

One by one, the hearings were heard, one by one, trooper Williams testified on almost every case that there were no other vehicles around, and that each defendant was alone on the road.

It was obvious that this man is a liar.

As my friends case was called, trooper Williams read his account of the traffic stop from his report. Each and every statement he made was a lie.

When I gave my account of what happened as a passenger in the car, he made faces and rolled his eyes. He would not make eye contact with anyone in the courtroom that was fighting a ticket.

Over 30 people showed up today to fight a ticket with trooper Williams. Over half requested a hearing. ALL will be notified by mail of the verdict.

Trooper Corporal Williams, YOU ARE A LIAR. You lied on my friends hearing, and you lied in most of the hearings today on the 3rd floor in Courtroom B of the Hernando County Courthouse. You are a disgrace to law enforcement, and YOU are the reason that many in law enforcement are looked down upon.

And just like I said to you in the courtroom, as I know you CLAIM to be a Christian, LIARS DON'T GO TO HEAVEN.

You told lie after lie after lie today in court, and didn't bat an eye.
In your current state you are worthless to all of society, and I despise your actions.
I pray that God will have mercy on your soul, unlike the way you treat others.

It's awfully peculiar that in all of the cases that went to a hearing, ALL, by this "troopers" account, there were no other vehicles around, despite testimony from defendants and witnesses to the contrary.

I seriously doubt FOX will publish this on their blog pages.
But I'll reserve that judgment for another blog.

What is the deal? I'm driving home today, and like so many times before, I am behind someone driving a pickup truck with a little sack with two balls hanging from the center of the rear end of the truck.  Is it just me, or do any of you think this is vulgar?  I know some people might think it's cute or funny, but I find it downright pornographic.  What do you think?  I think they should be outlawed.

Somebody sent this to me in an email.  I thought it was interesting.  I'm not saying I agree with it.  I don't know if this is a real contest, but in a limited search, I could not find anything on it to prove or disprove it, but here it is:

The following is the 2007 winning entry from an annual   contest at  Texas  A&M  University calling for the most   appropriate definition of a contemporary term.    This year's term was:  Political Correctness    The winner wrote:    'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.'

HOUSTON (Reuters) - John McCain's Phoenix pastor, Dan Yeary, is a folksy patriotic Southern Baptist who opposes abortion and believes homosexuality to be a biblical sin, but says Christians have an obligation to love such sinners.

That puts Yeary, who heads the church attended for the past 15 years by the Republican presidential candidate firmly in the U.S. Southern Baptist mainstream, and in line with the Republican Party.

He offers a sharp contrast to Democratic contender Barack Obama's former preacher Jeremiah Wright, who has stirred controversy with his fiery comments on race and America.

Obama had been seen by some analysts as having an edge over McCain on issues of faith because of his adult conversion experience and his ease in talking about his faith. But his own preacher has proven a political liability.

--------------------------------------
-----------------------------------

So, what do you think?  Is this pastor as much of a liability as Wright?

I had no idea McCain went to an SBC Church, I thought he was Presbyterian.  Turns out he was raised Episcopal.  But ya know what a baptist is?  Just a Presbyterian who has gone astray.

I am originally from Michigan, but have always been a Floridian at heart. I am 41 years old, and a Musician. I have 3 dogs, a boxer/border collie mix named Powder, a chocolate lab named Paczki and a white boxer named Casper. I am not bound to conservative ideologies, and have mixed feelings about a lot of things. I believe everyone has SOME good in them, but have a hard time showing it. I believe when somebody points the finger of blame at someone else, they are usually blowing smoke to distract attention away from their own wrong doing. I don't trust my government, am suspicious of most people in law enforcement, and I think people that don't tip their waiter or pizza delivery person should not go out to eat or order in, but should cook their own food at home. I don't believe in global warming or the boogie man. I go to church, but I believe the church as a whole may be way out of touch with their mission and their God. I am a church music director, youth worker and consider myself a person of deep faith. However, I know that I am human and sometimes do and say some stupid things. There are two rules to follow in life 1.) Don't sweat the small stuff 2.) It's all small stuff. God is bigger than any problem you may have, and you've made it this far, so give yourself a break, forget what's in the past, and look ahead to a great future.
